Absolutely blown away by this hotel, the rooms are superb with a nice large comfy set bed area, large HD TV, spacious kitchen with luxurious utensils, a nice working office space, the bathrooms are spacious and the showers are power showers with plenty of room! The staff are really friendly and so are the housekeepers who always have a smile on their faces. I urge anyone in the area to stay here if you are visiting Miami. We was sad to leave our room but we will return for sure! Thank you Elemen... Read more

I travel for work often and I have always found that hotels should do more for the environement. Finally I found this chain, affordable and ecologic. Rooms are very comfortable, super clean, bedding is delicious, bathroom totally functional; everything felt new... I even had a kitchen in case I did not feel like eating out all the time, complemented by a mini grocery store downstairs. Breakfast was both healthy and delicious. Staff was helpful and kind. I loved to stay there and I felt at least... Read more

Great location and property but parking..... I always drive or have a rental when I go out of town. (I like to explore) so for me parking is very important. The hotel is new, nice spacious sort of apartment building like. and the parking is great (also Free) during the day. We went out to south beach about 10 pm and was gone until about 3 am and there was absolutely no place to park. The night time security guard allowed late comer to park along side of the grassy curb but by the ti,e we came i... Read more

We stayed over before leaving on a flight due to these reviews on Trip advisor, but when we got checked in, which took too long and we finally got up to the room it was not clean and the sink had hair around it like it was just wiped down and not actually cleaned. We found hair on the pillowcase as well. Looks like housekeeping was in a hurry and didnt bother to change the pillowcases or anything. HUGE disappointment. We will stay somewhere else next time.

Awesome hotel in the heart of Doral. 1 mile from my client site. Suite hotel, rooms with living room and kitchen and big bedrooms. Perfect for business folks or families on vacation. Highly recommend it. Starwood Platinum for life member really glad the Westin brand introduced this new concept

We arrived late evening and took the shuttle (every hour) to the hotel. Smooth, fast and friendly check-in. Nice, very clean room with comfortable bed. Good showers, complementary wifi and breakfast. They allowed us a late check-out (1.30) and we used the nice pool, shower and changing room and took again the 4pm shuttle (30 min) back to the airport. All perfectly smooth and friendly at a very convenient rate. Highly recommended!

I generally like Starwood hotels (with the exception of Sheraton/Aloft) - and Element was a welcome experience after my recent Aloft Doral disaster. Interesting to me that such similar hotels can be so different. Element is what Aloft is not - better rooms, better bed, better linens = better experience. They carryover one dumb aspect - the shared soap/shampoo dispenser, but otherwise, offer a very pleasant hotel experience. Also avoided from the Aloft playbook: no nonsense in the lobby with ... I really wanted to write a review about his Hotel, as I was able to appreciate it from two perspectives - traveler's and industry insiders. I stayed at the Element Hotel with my Family over July 4th extended weekend and we spent 4 wonderful nights there. Also, I have worked for another major Hotel chain for over 8 years and was able to appreciate the way Element hotel is run from the professional standpoint. Parking: FREE! Wi-Fi: FREE! This hotel isn't especially nice given it's price point and I think it's best to try other options. I think it needs to make some improvements to upgrade the guest experience, especially for the breakfast, fitness center and to do something to make a visit here more compelling. You have to leave to get decent food and drinks - the Aloft in the connecting area has a mediocre bar. It's very dark in the rooms. This is a 'no frills' experience. It also seems that they could style the hotel a bit mor... Read more

After returning from our cruise, our family of 4 with all our luggage, checked into our room at the Element and left shortly afterwards for a few hours. Later, when starting to unpack we noticed missing 1 suitcase. Because we couldn't believe that it had been taken from our room, we went back to cruiseport and car rental, informed the police who confirmed based on the securitycamera's of our last stop (car rental) that we did have all our luggage on our way to the hotel. And we realised that the... Read more

This hotel is horrible. We saw a 2 COCKROACHES in the room and the sheets looked like they weren't changed. We are truly disappointed in the whole experience here and would advise anyone to not stay at this hotel because it appears that they don't change the sheets like they should. Sink had a long hair in it and shower area had multiple long hairs like someone wiped it with a dirty rag. We didn't get much sleep due to worrying about roaches.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel and slept comfortably in a clean, spacious room with a fully equipped kitchen. There was a small sitting area with a sofa bed and swiveling TV (so you could watch it while in bed too). There was also a desk and a large bathroom. We barely used the kitchen, but it had everything to cook a complete meal. There was an included breakfast and evening reception (reception only from Mon-Thurs), and the food was adequate, not spectacular. The seating is lim... Read more

I have stayed here and the hotel next door. I prefer the Element for the following reasons: free breakfast, full size fridge, oven and microwave in the room, nice lobby with cozy places to sit if you want to spend time outside of your room. There is a shared pool between two hotels but it has plenty of space for swimming and lounging. Great location near Dolphin Mall for shopping, dining and theaters.

The room we had is a studio with a disproportionate amount of space allocated to the kitchen area. I liked the filtered drinking water tap in the kitchenette - a good idea. A lot is certainly squeezed into a small space. Overall not a bad stay. The breakfast was not very appealing, but typical for an hotel in this category. Hotel is really great. Nice location in Doral close to restaurants and malls (Dolphin Mall is just 5 min away). Hotel rooms are new and the kitchen is quite nice and complete - really good if you are travelling with small children. Staff is friendly. There is no room service. Breakfast is free but the options are very basic and the space is small, so sometimes you struggle to find a table to seat. I stay here regularly for business travel, and will continue to do so because it's a modern, super clean, and well-maintained property. The management team is excellent, and I have always found them to be engaging and highly professional. I highly recommend this property, as well as the sister property Aloft, which is next door. They have the same positive attributes as Element, and share some of the same amenities.
