This was a very night hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall very clean and comfortable room. If you are traveling with family this would not be the place for you. We stayed on the 5th floor and from the time we arrived until 5am there were loud music next door and other guests having a loud party on the floor. One of the great perks is that you can leave your car and cruise and don't have to pay for parking. Big saving!

We stayed here for 01 night in April and would definitely stay here again. The hotel seemed brand new, with very modern interior design and all the ammenities you'd expect from a Starwood property. There was also free parking, free wifi, a free welcome drink and free shuttles to the airport and nearby malls like the Dolphin. I was impressed by the service delivered by the front desk agents. Check-in and check-out were swift and very quick, and the way they answered my questions made me feel li... Read more

We stayed here before, but it seems to be going downhill. The outlet by the coffee maker didn't work and the toilet was running. We just moved the coffee maker and they did fix the toilet. The worst part is the loud music in the lobby. The front desk people can't hear and neither can the bartenders, so they screwed up our order. They need to concentrate on just being a good hotel where people like to stay.

I've stayed here a few times while in Miami on business and I haven't had a bad experience yet. The staff is always friendly, the lobby/hallways/rooms are clean and the bedding is so comfortable. The pool atmosphere outside is also quite relaxing. Only complaint: The food in the lobby is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected, I suppose. For business purposes: The in-room desks and Wifi are great to work at. The space was so comfortable, I almost forgot I was working out of a hotel room.

Very clean. Good location. Modern rooms. Nice stay Air conditioning a little bit noisy because units are too large for the room. Great pool, bar and night entertainment. Highly recommended I will stay here again.

We were in transit in Miami for one night and I was looking for a clean not so expensive hotel in the area. First time staying at ALoft and I am so glad we did! Very clean, quick check in and best of all - SPG!!!! Will definitely come back with the family!

Very sleek, modern hotel! Friendly staff with a very good atmosphere in the reception/lobby area. Party and music in the evening with lots of people. There pool area is amazing! Rooms are super nice, not very big but well decorated and enjoyable. This is a very nice hotel for a couple of nights, not a very long stay. What's even better is the price, under $100 the night! Don't even care that breakfast is not included as standard, as there are great places to eat close by.

Came in for the Cubs/Marlins series. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time at the hotel other than sleeping. But check in was smooth and the front desk representative was very friendly. The lobby was very clean and so were the rooms. No problems with any noise. Aloft is my favorite hotel brand, and this property stood up to their standards. Very sleek and modern -- and also affordable. The only negative was when I arrived back at the hotel around 3 AM and purchased some waters & snacks -... Read more

Enjoyed the one night spent at this hotel. Modern and chic. Very comfy and clean. Nice, professional and friendly staff. Big bed, clean room. Nice food from the bar. From the shuttle at the airport to the front desk - very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely stay again, when in MIA.

Aloft is Starwood's attempt at "millennial" targeted hotels. I stayed at one in Nashville and was disappointed - decided to give the chain one more try in Miami - and was disappointed again. Starwood seems more obsessed with creating "buzz-worthy" hotels than actually creating good hotel experiences at a fair price. Room was solid enough - much better layout of the room than my Nashville experience - but bed comfort and linens were not up to Starwood standards. Also, Aloft insists on putting... Read more

I stayed at the Aloft twice while on business over a two week. The first stay was very good what one expects at an Aloft. The second stay I was upgraded to a corner suite. I never knew they had them as all rooms are the same. It came with a living room area and dining area. Thank goodness it did. The air conditioner in the bedroom didn't cool but the one in the living area did. I spent the night on the couch versus the bed. Thank goodness it was an excellent couch. I'll give them anothe... If you love music and are out to party this is the place to be, live bands, great atmosphere, very friendly staff, clean place, terrific pool, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. If you are looking for quietness and rest this place is not for you. We stayed here in July with a group of 20 people to listen to one of our favorite bands, and we had a blast. This hotel is also close to the airport, to Dolphin Mall and restaurants, there is a shuttle bus to take you to all these places. Breakfast is... Read more

This hotel isn't very old but the rooms are feeling tired and beat up. Mine had a hole in the bathroom door and in the ceiling. the room has an interesting layout but the closet isn't efficient and there are no drawers at all. Also not very well cleaned. Seemed I had an additional long hair stuck to the wall of my shower every day for my three night stay and they were definitely not mine. If your room is close to the lobby or above the lobby, be prepared for a lot of party noise at night so i... Read more

Great location, loved the soft pillows. The free parking is a great plus. Dolphin mall is right around the corner for those that shop. I must say I rated 5 stars based on Julianna for her incredible customer service and attention to detail, if it wasn't for her it would've affected my image on the hotel because at check in I felt they were more interested at shouting at each other from the bar and one girl on the phone interrupting the check in process, no amenities were explained, not even that... The hotel is dated, but the interior designers did a good job of putting lipstick on the pig. The roomy was large and comfortable with a nice work station. The bar has a happy hour till 8:00 PM which was a nice feature. My only disappointment was the noise level because the room I was assigned faced NW 107th and got quite loud quite early. The next time I'll request an interior room.

Loved this hotel. Rooms were very nicely appointed. Good pool with nice chairs and towels. Beware the pool deck is extremely hot. Wear your flip flops to the edge of the water. There is live music in the bar on Thur. It's very loud in the bar and lobby but quiet as a church mouse in your room. Shower heads need cleaned. Many of the holes are clogged making it extremely high pressure coming from the few water spouts that are not clogged. Nice proximity to Dolphin Mall for shopping, dining and mov... Read more

They told me not to worry about the late check-in they hold the rooms until 2:00 AM. We get to the hotel and the place was jamming. Their was some kind of party in the bar / lobby and everyone was have a great time. It was hard to hear the clerk at the front desk, but we got checked in. Spent a night as I was passing through Miami on a weekend. Hotel concept tries hard for a young vibe. Front desk staff looked like high schoolers but they were friendly and competent. Rooms are well designed. Price was right. Aloft hotels have a slight "pop-up" feeling and I am not sure they will stand the test of time but it was a good stay.

This hotel is tucked blocks away from the freeway, it's staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very nicely appointed. Our room had a King size bed, a small refrigerator (no freezer). Shower & toilet are separated from the sink area by a sliding door. The shower is a clear glass wall/door. The entry area to the room is spacious and you'll walk past the sink/bathroom area as you go further into the room it opens up with high ceiling and a very comfortable bed as well as a bench area suitable ... I was very disappointed in this hotel stay. I have stayed T several Alofts before so I felt I was staying with a brand that I trusted. There are no dressers here so both had our things spread on the tables, the only other option was a closet space that did not suit our needs. The noise level is extreme on the weekends in the lobby, it was basically like a night club; I had to yell for the employees to hear me at check in, the the clerk gave me all of the wrong information regarding my deposit.. ... Definitely a W hotel. Loved the modern decor and hotel has a hip vibe. The DJ was already jamming in the lobby bar/club when we checked in Friday night. Nice hotel for solo or couple travelers but I wouldn't bring my family as the decor is not what I would call family comfortable. Business traveler wouldn't need to roam to find entertainment in the evenings as there is always something happening in the lobby. The low for this place is the house keeping. If you want a flavor of Miami at night without going to Miami at night, this might be the place for you. The lobby was loud and full of fun with a DJ, followed by a guitar duo. The rooms are nicely appointed, and this was a high class hotel at a reasonable price.

We'd booked this via Hotwire, which described it as an airport hotel on an overnight for connecting planes from an international trip. However, it was a $30+ taxi ride (one-way). Once we arrived, did find the hotel front desk to be welcoming and the lobby comfortable as we'd stayed in other Aloft concepts before. Room was clean and bed perfect for a good night sleep, while breakfast in a.m. didn't disappoint. Recommend hotel with own car or for a local staycation.

I stayed at the Aloft for 1 Night after a weekend wedding. I was able to take the shuttle to hotel which was very convenient. Check-in was easy and they accommodated me with an early check due to an early flight from New York. Check in was fast but very unfriendly and unwelcoming by a male Hispanic staff member. The hotel is in a great location. The rooms were nice and clean. The front desk personnel terrible. We stood there as for a few minutes , one guy was on the phone and the young woman was talking with some people. I assumed they were checking in,not one of them acknowledged that we were there. They need a refresher course in customer service. Then someone else came up, I guess it was their supervisor, I asked her was this where we checked in, she said yes then tapped the young lady.
