"Our 3rd stay here. We had a problem with the room when we checked in. ( Water leaking from the ceiling) The evening staff quickly moved us to another room which we were very pleased with. The decor was better and the view of the gulf also. We stayed for a week. Each stay gets a little better, maybe because we know a little more about what to expect. We had a nice relaxing stay and will be back next year."

"The condo was sparkling clean, and was equipped with everything you might need except a corkscrew. Dishes, appliances,pots and pans and silverware all appeared new. The view was wonderful, fellow guests and staff were unfailingly polite and friendly. Gym was adequate, with a good weight machine, but no free weights. It too, was impeccably clean.The only slightly negative thing was a very limited selection of DVDs were available. But they were no extra charge, so who's complaining?We loved the condo, the location, the beach, and pretty much everything about it."

"The Condo was a work of art although slightly cramp. We weren't looking for a palace, but this was a reasonable substitute. The fixtures and appliances appeared new although they weren't. Cleaning does wonders and it did in this case. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The proximity with grocery and seafood emporiums only enhanced the experience. I would recommend this to any couple. I'm sure that it would be compatible with most families also. If only the dryer had been working."

"First of all it is all about the state of mind when you go anywhere. Hotel was really clean. It is not a brand new hotel, but it was kept in a good condition. Outside, inside pools, hot tub. Notice there is another more private jacuzzi in fitness room with sauna (spa). Beach service is friendly. Notice to bring commercial grade umbrellas if you have one or you can rent from them. They do not allow non-commercial grade umbrellas on their beach. You will have to go further to another hotels beach to set your non commercial umbrella. Rooms are clean again, fully equipped, i mean fully. No need for anything to bring just extras if you want. Extremely good value for the money. Make sure if you want master bedroom and living room ocean front you need to make sure you book that unit. If not ocean front units just have living room balcony. Which we enjoyed anyway."

"We had a nice long weekend stay in spring, though I can imagine I wouldn't like the crowds in summer. They do not have a large beachfront, so chairs were set up in double rows. It seemed like everyone there but us smoked. The room was decently clean but very outdated, and not quite as comfortable as I would have liked. All of that said, the staff was friendly and we got a great deal, so we would probably go back if we could repeat the same deal. They also had a gift shop, arcade, movie rentals and a bar - nice perks we weren't expecting."

"The resort was not as nice as previous places I have stayed.Furniture in Living rm was old and floors in bedroom needed replacing. because we booked try you we could not change places. I called you the night we checked in and made arrangements with front desk for yus to move units. They wern't much better so we just stayed where we were at because we had already unloaded all our stuff."

"We could not be more pleased with the rental of this condo. It was impecably clean. We were on the 3rd floor. Had a wonderful view of the Gulf. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I don't think we could have found a better place to stay. The rooms were very well decorated. All in all, it all made a wonderful vacation. Thanks for everything!"

"I would not recommend SunDestin Beach Resort to anyone traveling to Destin. While we knew about the cleaning fee, we were also charged a reservation fee that we did not know about. The cleaning fee was frustrating because the floor was not even clean in the room. If you didn't wear shoes at all times while in the room, your feet would be black from the dirty floors. The dishwasher did not work so we had to wash the dishes by hand. Therefore, we should not have had to pay a cleaning fee. Also, other resorts in Destin provide at least 2 chairs and an umbrella per room for use on the beach. At SunDestin, you have to pay additional each day if you want 2 chairs and an umbrella. "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Resort. It is not the newest complex in town, but it is very centrally located to restaurants, shopping, etc. Our room was a little dated but nice. The room did have a musty/smoky smell when we would first enter the unit. We were a little disappointed in the fact that the rows of rental chairs were set up right on the edge of the beach which left little room if you weren't interested in paying the fee to use the chairs... The first 4 days the beach was beautiful then the sea weed came rolling in. We thought sure that by the next morning it would have been cleaned up - however it was all still there - not just only at the resort but as far as you could see in either direction. If this had happened at the beginning our or trip and not the end are overall opinion would have been a lot different. Other beach communities do clean the beaches so we were very surprised that this is not done in Destin."

"This condo was excellent or the price. Our room was on the bottom floor. It opened right out onto the pool. There was a little bar and grill where you could get a quick lunch and drinks. It was right on the beach, with a very short walk to the water. It was also very close to great restaurants and shopping. I'll stay here on my next trip,"

"My family and I just got back from this resort in Destin. The resort was nice and directly on the beach. My only complaints? The night staff was not friendly at all and the unexpected $70 cleaning fee that was charged although you are expected to straigten your suite before checkout.Just remember this is a resort and not a hotel..... Other than that the location is ideal!"
