"Our trip to Destin was wonderful. We stayed in the Nantucket Rainbow Cottages which is located upstairs. It was very nice and beautifully decorated. I was real hesitant prior to going that I would be dissappointed by the prior reviews I read but we took the chance and rented it. I was very suprised at how nice and clean it was. The furniture was very nice and the mattess were new and very comfortable. It was real spacious nothing like the video's that we saw on youtube. There were alot of apartments that looked like they were under renovation in the complex. The pool was clean and so was the laundry room. It was very well stocked with dishes, and towels and they supplied a limited stock of dish soap, toliet paper, paper towels and detergent. We had absolutely no trouble checking in. It is across the street from the beach, there was not a beach view. I have always wanted to stay there but was worried it would be too small for our family but it was perfect size. There is bunk beds in the hall area my main concern would be if you have young children it's kinda scary the bunks are located directly across from the staircase to the front door. They did have a safety net in the closet. I will def request to stay in this apt again and will return soon."

"the beds were hoorible. Blow up matresses with scratchy sheets. No dishwasher either.....very 3rd world.The roaches were huge and my daughter was too afraid to sleep in her bunk bed for fear of the emormous roaches."

"Pool area needed cleaned up, and the pool needed cleaned. Few more chairs in common area in cottage needed. Was great location and for the most part quiet, except for upstairs guests noise. Was told there would be no problem adding an extra night to our stay { if our schedule allowed } but when attempted to extend stay was told unit already taken, that was a dissappointment."

"Very much enjoyed our stay. I believe there are a few things to address to make it a more comfortable stay. The pool definately needed tended to and the pool furniture was not clean. The cottage itself was nice but lacking in kitchen towels and definately not enough seating in the main area or outside, making it uncomfortable. The shower could have been cleaned better."
