"The directions were incorrect based on address given. Said it was in Destin FL. It clearly is NOT. Location is in Miramar 20 miles down road.
Put us 1 full hour out of our way once we figured it all out and stoped driving in circles. Not the best with two small children.
There was NO DIRECT PHONE NUMBER to Majestic Sun at Seascape. They transfer you to booking offices in TNN. or other states who clearly did not know the area. Crazy! Once we got there you had to go to a different building (three buildings behind ours to check in and check out. Not easy. Also the desk in our loby was not in charge of our room so if we needed something we were on our own. Our room was dirty with broken glass in the carpet! Too confusing and not worth all the mess."

"The condo was great. More than we expected. Getting into the place was an absolute disaster. We checked in after hours, and after finding the correct building to get the information we needed, we placed the phone call and did not get the correct information. We did some more searching and found a guy at the bar and restaurant who assisted us in getting the correct info. We called again and got the correct info and finally got into the condo after 2.5 hours of searching. Then when we checked out after two days, we were charged $133.80 for cleaning. This was not noted anywhere so caught us completely off guard."

"Condo was nice overall. A little dated, but clean and very well maintained. Great view. Nice kitchen for cooking. Comfortable bed. The only drawback was that we rented this condo for a great price - 109.00 and went for 2 days; but the cleaning fee which is not included on the initial price. We found this to be a little much and should be prorated depending on length of stay. Overall, very well-satisfied with the quality and experience and view from 8th floor. Beach was very crowded and the chairs/umbrella included with the rental should be staggered on the beach, because you are right on top of each other. We wound up going to Henderson Beach State Park for the daytime - less crowded, but need your own chairs and umbrella; and well worth the 6.00 entry fee because the bathrooms are immaculate."

"The Majestic Sun at Seascape is a good value based on the initial reservation amount I believed I was paying and it's located directly across the street from the beach. Beach facilities were very good, chairs and umbrella were available each day and my daughter enjoyed the stand-up paddle board rental she had one afternoon. The big issue, and the reason I'd never recommend this property, is that I had to pay a $100 cleaning fee when I checked in that was totally unexpected. This was a real negative because the primary reason we selected this resort was the price, which turned out to be not competitive with other properties in the area when you add in the non-disclosed $100 cleaning fee."

"There were many good things about our stay and many negatives. The most frustrating part of the stay was getting checked in. We spent hours of our vacation time we could have been enjoying the beatiful beach and nice room, just trying to get checked in and get our room code and amenities packet. We loved the room, the view, the beach...there was no staff...there was no service. I would love to go back and visit the beaches, Destin, Watercolor, Seaside, HarborWalk village and HarrborVillage. We found lots of good places to eat with very good live music. Kudos to the Whales Tail...great service. "

"Nice facility and beach view. Shame on me for not taking in consideration the $130 cleaning fee at check-in. All fees combined put my daily room rate at over $300 per night for a 2 bedroom condo. I was surprised about the check-out list including emptying my own trash after paying a $130 cleaning fee.
Mattresses in both bedrooms are worn out.
I will not return, there are much better values in the area.

"Condo had a horrible smell upon entering it and it had not been cleaned good or maintained in a while. However, we did receive our cleaning fee back and someone came in and cleaned the upholstery to try to get rid of the smell. The couch bed was broken too. Couldnt beat the view of the beach or how close it was to the beach which made it all worthwhile! I would stay here again but would choose the condo I stayed in next time!"

"I would not recommend this place at all. Brought family down for nice 3 night vacation. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful when you had a question. Their answer was simply 'this is not a hotel'. DVD player did not work, wi fi did not work, not enough towels. We were only staying three nights, so I wish they had a few more things, like coffee filters and dish soap. There was no one at the front desk while we were there. "Overall we had a nice stay and the weather and water were beautiful. We did have some issues with check-in, there are NO represenatives on sight. We were suppose to apparently receive a 24hr key code and room number which was never received in our email. We had to jump few a through hoops in trying to contact someone from the property with no luck at all. That said, we were able to get in touch with our agency and with-in 5-10min they had us in a 3way conversation with the property and problem was solved!! Condo was nice, we like to cook so we could've used a few larger pots and bowls. Veiw was spectacular, pools were nice and they had outdoor showers to rinse off sand. Needless to say we recommend this place, as we will be hopefully staying there again in the future. We will make sure we have a passcode and room number prior to leaving home."

"I've stayed here previously. But after this stay I doubt I return. Our condo was dirty and had ants. Beware there is no deabolt on the door so children will be out the door in a second. It was too easy for my 20 month old to open the door! She was out in a split seond, I was shocked! The handle is a level handle so no turning is required just a light pull down and the door opens."

"Condo was two bedroom unit with great view of the beach. Furnishings were nice and unit was nice size. Only problem with the unit was the strong cat odor in the second bedroom. Fortunately we did not need the second bedroom so we closed the doors to keep the odor away from the rest of the unit. Staff tried to spray some deodorant but no good. Rest of the stay was great - beach service was great - golf was OK but they had just punched large aeration holes in greans and fairways."

"We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Our condo had everything we needed, even dolphins playing from our ocean view. The beaches were clean, family friendly, and far from being crowded. This is definitely a great place to take the family. We will be going back year after year. If you have adventurous toddlers, beware of the condo door. There is no deadbolt or chain lock. If your kid can turn a handle, they can escape in a minute!!"

"IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! THE VIEW OF THE GULF WAS PERFECT! I SAW DOLPHINS PLAYING AS I SAT IN MY P.J's drinking coffe! My kids loved it. The one bdrm/2 bath was great for me and my 3 children! The pools were also warm and clean. The room was way more that what I expected! I will be back again for sure!!!!!!!!"

"I have stayed at the Majestic Sun numerous times, each time in a different unit. We have always enjoyed our stays until now. There was some trash left in the room along with a few spiders in the bedroom. This particular unit was located directly outside the elevator doors. It was very noisy. I asked the receptionist to change room but she said there would be a cancellation fee in addition to two cleaning fees. She was not helpful nor friendly. The sleeper sofa was extremeley uncomfortable. Even the beach service attendant was rude. We will not be planning any future trips to the Majestic Sun and I would not recommend this condo. Typically, I'm very easy to please but this stay did not live up to my expectations."

"Two of my friends and I went to Destin on a girl's trip and stayed in a 3 bedroom/3 bath condo at Majestic Sun. We were very pleased with the accommodations and amenities. The view was great and just listening to the waves and watching the beach was very enjoyable. We did think that we would have direct beach access but had to cross a street to the beach. Other than that, the place was perfect for us."

"My wife and I liked the condo. Everything was really set up nice. It was clean room and bed linens except for the blanket which needs washing badly. We were given the room we were promised with a beautiful view of the beach. The patio door was broken but repairman did a temporary fix. Everything else was great."

"We just got back from our honeymoon at Majestic Sun. What a great view of the beach and gulf. For the price we paid I would do it all over again for sure!! There was no internet like they said, but it was almost better so we kept our interests out at sea. Love d the condo. Decorated Awesome!"
