"The property's location is very nice. The staff is also courteous. I just loved the view of the bay from my balcony. The hotel is inside the Sandestin property, which is a world in its own. You get excellent food at the marina, you can do water sports and evening activities at the wharf. We got complimentary bicycles, kayaks and boogie boards per day of our stay. The property has been recently renovated, so interiors are nice, although you can still catch the glimpse of some old fittings and stuff, which has been painted or updated to look better. All in all a great stay. Itching to go back there again. I recommend this one."

"I booked a room that was supposed to have the 'Bay View' with a private balcony. There was NO view from our room except for the palm trees and the private balcony was a joke!! The 'privacy' was from a shutter placed up on both sides which you could see through and basically shake hands with the person next door. There was not enough chairs at the pool, so we never got to enjoy the pool. We did not want room service so we told the man at the front desk, which told us 'ok no problem, I will make sure they don't service your room', when we returned from our day out, room service had been in our room. The beach at Sandestin resort was SO packed, we decided to travel down the road to a public beach. Not a good experience at Sandestin Beach Resort."

"This trip decided to stay a the newly renovated LeCiel on the property grounds of Sandestin Golf & Beach resort on the Bay. The hotel was awful!!!!!. The rooms did not look renovated. Did not have a chair at the desk in room. My boyfriend is in school and could not even do his homework on computer. Requested a king bed, got a double...checked back daily for three days and could never get an upgrade. The bathroom had mildew. Sheets on bed were hard and did not fit on the double bed. Something bite my boyfriend and I in the room. I think is was a spider in our bed. The hot water would run out everyday. Ice machines did not work. And the electricity went out from 3am to 2pm one day. The staff members were very patient and willing to listen but nothing seemed to get done. I think they were just as frustrated. This was very upsetting to pay $199/night and have this kind of room!! I decided to complain to the manager and see if we could be placed in another hotel for the next half of our vacation. The resort did place us in another hotel, The Luau Tower II on the beach. The hotel was superb. The room was clean!!! I need a clean room...thank you! The sheets were soft...we had a KING bed...thank you! No spiders in our bed. Hot showers!!! And electricity!!! The location was excellent and service was great. The hotel did not charge us for the change but for only $50 more a night."

"The hotel was nice and it didn't smell. The pool was wonderful!!! The only thing bad we experienced was housekeeping. No one came to clean the room, we ran out of towels, and there were no chairs on the balcony when both neighbors did? We did stop by the front desk to ask if someone could give attention to the room. They brought 2 towels, NO face towel, no vacuuming and just threw the comforter over the un-made bed. But other than that we really enjoyed our trip."

"Be aware that when you book thru this website, automatic parking fees and taxes are NOT on your receipt and you will be required to pay these fees at checkout. Our room ended up costing 273.00 per night when adding theses misc fees. It was advertized at 179.oo per night which was seriously ouverpriced for what it was. The room was (and I use the word generously) is mediocre at best. The remedle that others mentioned is very cheaply done. It's clean on first appearance but after I'd dropped a cracker on the rug at the beginning of our stay, 5 days later, it was still on the floor where I's stepped on it. Housekeeping did not clean our room on 2 of the 5 days we were guests. How in the world did yhis hotel get this rating?"

"Booked this room last minute. Located in the Sandestin Resort Bay area. Had to drive to the beach, but we knew that when I booked it. You could also take the shuttle. We had access to the Sandestin beach area and pool by the beach. We loved that. Only spent time at the hotel to shower and sleep. Did not use their pool area. The hotel is very quiet. Not much going on. Spent most of our time at the Baytowne Wharf and at the beach. This is a standard hotel with basic amenities. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed. We were moved to a bay view no extra charge. Staff was very nice. Housekeeping was done by the time we came back from the beach to get ready for dinner. No problems. You can tell the room was renovated. Basic no frills hotel at a low price to enjoy all that the Sandestin resort has to offer. "

"Hotel was nicely remodeled with a few exceptions. Our refrigerator leaked on the carpet and only 1 light bulb worked. Maintenance was called but never came. Amenities on the property were very nice-bike rental-kayak rental-pool. Spa was conveniently located next door. Very nice secluded area with good views of the resort."

"Stayed in San destin numerous times. Knew it was to good to be true while checking in we were informed of addition 16.95 tax Found the room to be semi clean smelled Staff unhelpful
No cream for coffee. No luggage carts to be found While checking out charged another sales tax. Other guests were surprised by these hidden taxes also. Would not recommend!"
