"Our first impression of the Emeral Shores was a great one. The comunity is beautiful and the grounds are very well kept. As a group of 10 we appreciated how spacious the condo was. Three bedroom three bathrooms, each bedroom had it's own patio, two living areas and the kitchen was nice and big. The short walk to the beach and restaurants was a big plus.
The condo looked great but... it was falling apart! Only one of the stove burners worked and there was a nice grill outside in one of the patios but it was completely rotten and couldn't be used. The toilets were slow to flush and they looked like they could overflow at any given moment. Both the living areas had some nice pull out couches that converted to beds, only they were broken and totally uncomfortable we were not able to use them.
As things continued to add on to the list of repairs we decided not to report it because it was too many things to fix in one day.
We will definately return to Destin but we will not be returning to the Emerald Shores Neighborhood. :("

"We stay at Emerald Shores Neighborhood from June 14-17-2012. When we first arrived which was earlier than check in time, the room wasnt ready which was cool because we were the ones early. But the lady at the checkin desk was so sweet to me and my husband. She made us feel so good and she told us she was call us when the house was ready. Once we arrived at the house, lets just say it was waaaay beyond my expectations. I absolutely fell in love. It was clean, well equipped, decorated beautifully and very roomy and comfortable for my family and I. The kids enjoyed it. It was so convient to the pool and beach and outlet malls. We walked to the beach although there was a trolley car picking the guest up every 10 mins free of charge to take them to and from the beach or pool which was awesome. We hated to leave. It felt like home. Plus, we were married on the beach this weekend and that put the icing on the cake. We will definitely come back and tell all of our friends and family about Emerald Shores Neighborhood. They rock!!!!!"
