"The facilities are grane! Whoops, I mean GRANDE! Seriously, the place was fantastic, the beach was private, and being close to the harbor and all the shops was great."

Amanda from Montgomery, Al had this to say:
"We took a trip as a family and, to be honest, we were not sure if it was going to be as great as they made it out to be. But boy, were we wrong! They had the most beautiful establishment we have seen. They have tons of things to do free: movies outside to enjoy, free video games to play in the room, free private beach, music played all day and night, that you can sit out on your private terrace and listen to, and much more. I highly recommend this to couples or families. There is something for everyone. It is well worth the money that was spent and they have cheap things on the harbor to do. Sunset dolphin cruise costs $15 per person with free wine, beer, and sodas for $5 for children; the list goes on and on. We will stay here every year from now on."

Tanya from Chattanooga, TN had this to say:
"Our family had a great time here. The location is very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. I was concerned about the boat ride to the beach until we stayed here. Our own private beach (very quiet and family oriented - no loud music, etc) complete with chairs/umbrellas and they will take your lunch order and deliver it to you on the beach. When my husband was playing golf, I took our 1 year old daughter to the beach by myself. The men working the boat gave me their card and asked me to call when I was coming down with the baby. He meet us at the elevator and help carry her pack-n-play and our bag. That's what I call service. Great place to stay. We have already booked a week in the fall with our extended families. "

Daisy from Metairie, LA had this to say:
"This condo was top rated. I thought the Bellagio in Las Vegas was nice. I slept better there than at home. Will definetly be staying there from now on. Didn't care for Lucky Snapper Restraurant. Food too plain, used to New Orleans food. Other than that the trip was great."

A Recent Traveler from Goodfield, IL had this to say:
"My husband and I stayed at the Emerald Grande the last part of March, 2009 When we arrived we were amazed how large the facility was. We were not given very good instructions on how to find the elevator that would take us to our room. We were only told which parking area to park in, that didn't help much as the parking garage is confusing in it's self. The whole place is like a maze, until you learn your way around. We stayed in a two bedroom unit. The unit was the best resort we have ever stayed in. We were more than happy with the furnishings and kitchen. WOW! The kitchen had the top of the line appliances. The staff wasn't too prompt on helping with our needs. We waited a whole day and then had to call again. It was cold and windy the week we stayed, but still enjoyed ourselves. We will definately stay at the Emerald Grande again, only at a different time of year. "

JA from Birmingham, AL had this to say:
"My husband and I recently spent a long weekend at the Emerald Grande and the facilities are GREAT! The one bedroom condo we stayed in faced the road and there was constant traffic noise and we were on the GV level so when we sat on the balcony the walls went from floor to ceiling so all you could do was look at the shopping center across the street and watch the renovations. I recommend that you find out which direction your condo faces and which floor you will be on before you book. We tried to get the staff at Emerald Grande to move us to a higher floor and were informed that it was not possible because we booked our reservation through bookit."
