Ariel Dunes
Nestled on the grounds of the beautiful and tranquil, Seascape Resort in Destin, Florida! The towering Ariel Dunes Condominiums are located just 300 yards from the beach, where you avoid the sounds of seasonal traffic, without sacrificing the magnificent views. Known as Destin`s best kept secret, Seascape Resort encompasses over three hundred acres of lush greens, serene lakes and 2000 feet of pristine white sand beach. The landmark building, Ariel Dunes, is 24-stories high and affords picturesque views of the Gulf, Choctawhatchee Bay and all of Destin!
SETTING
Ariel Dunes is the gem of Seascape Resort and has defined the landscape of not only the resort, but the South Walton, Destin Area. Known as the tallest Destin condominium, Ariel Dunes has 24 stories, and on a clear day offers views from downtown Destin all the way to Panama City! The two towers were built at an angle, each presenting breathtaking views from the Gulf to the bay, from sunrise to sunset. From your balcony, you can smell the salt air, feel the cool Gulf breeze, and even watch the periodic firework displays from Sandestin.
Two pools surround the southern portion of Ariel Dunes and offer a spacious deck for sunbathing and relaxing before heading off to the beach on the resort`s complimentary shuttle. A short ride takes you to a stretch of 2,000 feet of powder white sand and emerald green waters. If golf is your game, then you will be impressed with the resort`s 18-hole Joe Lee designed golf course. "The condo itself was really nice and clean. They may want to think about replacing the carpet - it was a little gross. When we booked the condo, it said 'free tram to the beach'. We never saw anything that was helpful with this at all. We were so far from the beach. For parents with 2 children under 2 - this made life very difficult. My husband actually got the flu when we were there and after asking the front desk basic questions about where to find local doctors, where we can dispose of trash (dirty diapers), etc. They tried to answer, they were just not that knowledgeable. So while dealing with a toddler, a baby and a sick husband, I had the additional inconvenience of trying to find more trash bags (they only give you one for your condo), more towels (we only had 2), where to dispose of trash, where to find a quick meal on property, where the mysterious 'tram' was, paper thin walls where the Europeans next to us were blaring techno and slamming doors til 3 am ... it was a bit of a hassle. Simple touches, like provided dish soap or hand soap in the kitchen, or a channel guide were greatly missed. The front desk did ask our neighbors to quiet down, which was greatly appreciated. The pools are nice for little ones because of the gradual slope into the pool, instead of just steps and a 3 ft. drop. My little ones were able to crawl around in 1ft water and had a lot of fun in the pool."

"I've visited this particular location with family and friends on several occasions and my experience has always been pleasant. Unfortunately, on this stay things were different. Upon entering the room I noticed the dirty carpet which definitely was an indication of what was to be expected. Unpon further inspection there were clothes in the dressers, a broken closet door which was a huge problem as well. I was told there were no other units available in the size I reserved therefore I couldn't change. After this experience I dont think we will be returning to this location again."

"Had a great stay this past weekend. The condo was very spacious and the view was magnificent. Very convenient to shopping and dining. The condo is located right across the sreet from the beach. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the fact we had to empty all of the trash cans and we were only there for 2 days. It was also required that we load the dishwasher. Just wondering what the cleaning fee covers. We got a really great deal through book it so I would go back again for the right price."

"Place was very nice. There was a bad odor when we first arrived (they said it was the sulphur in the water?) and it eventually went away. Nice pools and beach is right there. I don't like the cleaning fee but what you gonna do. I think people would clean up even better if they didn't charge that but oh well."
