"We were on 10th floor and there were only 2 elevators, causing long delays at times. We also overlooked Hwy A!A and it was very noise even being on 10th floor. Room was clean and in mostly good condition. Lavatory was slow to drain so this was inconvenient. Requested maintenance but they never came. West stairwell was dirty. Trash and broken beer bottles could have caused a safety hazard in the event of a fire or other emergency. I reported it to the front desk and they promised to notify housekeeping, but I did not go back to see if it was cleaned. The pool and pool area was cleaned every morning as was the front lobby and entrance. Since cleanliness is very important to my family, we paid close attention to the housekeeping staff. Other than the stairs, they did an excellent job. Most of the hotel staff was friendly and cooperative."
