There are 87 air-conditioned guestrooms at Daytona Beach Regency featuring CD players and coffee/tea makers. Balconies have a beautiful view of the city or ocean. All rooms are outfitted with separate sitting areas and sofa beds. This 3-star condominium resort includes kitchens with microwaves, refrigerators, and cookware, dishes and utensils. Bathrooms highlight jetted bathtubs in two bedroom units only, free toiletries, and hair dryers. Wireless Internet access is on hand. Televisions have premium cable channels, DVD players. "Other than our room out looking to the garbage pick up and the towel pick up it was a great stay. It was very noisy hearing the trucks at all hours. Also lots of sirens.. Next time we will def request a view of the water."

" I was disappointed when I first arrived and found out we did not have a beachfront view. This was the request I had made when I booked;however,the Manager was very apologetic and explained we should have been informed that this was not guaranteed and Bookit had been told to inform people when they booked. I told him we had not been informed of this,but I understood it was not his fault. The accommodations on the part of the hotel were great, everyone was so kind and helpful and it was very, very clean. I had also lost a couple items and not sure where I had left them, but their staff and security were superb in attempting to find the items . Even though the items were not found, I truly appreciate their efforts. I would vacation here again and I would definitely reccomend Daytona Beach Regency to others. "

"We booked well in advance for teh Memorial weekend and requested an Ocean View. We live in Orlando, so this was to be a nice family break by the sea. We arrived in the Friday and checked in and asked if we had an Ocean view and was told that all rooms have a view, but this was partially obscured by the foyer overhang. We got to the room, the balcony was like sitting in a basement apartment with pigeon mess everywhere. If you sat down, you would be facing directly at the wall!! We asked for another room, they said they were full, but if we looked at another room before the last guest arrived, we could have that. We looked at that room, it was on the 2nd floor again, but faced directly into the dumpsters of the hotel next door and the stench was awful! We called their number that states the 'meaning of yes', part of their service that sorts all problems and was told they will do their best to remedy this. Next morning, no change. We were again offered the room facing the dumpsters, which means that the guests that checked into that room the evening before also left unhappy!nWe packed and left the hotel, our weekend had been ruined.nIf you want to be guaranteed an Ocean View, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!nThe layout of the hotel means that at least 50% of the rooms will be obscured and look out into next doors parking lot. We paid nearly $300 for a night in a room with a view of a wall and nobody cared!"

The staff was so nice and accommodating, the room was perfect along with the views of the ocean - it was like a home away from home - except that we woke up to the sounds and sights of the ocean every day! "Got there and went to our room on south side only to find our view was of neighbors building dumpster. I would guess this is s the case with many of rooms on south side. Got them to move us to north side of building, could see ocean but next door there was a run down fence with empty lot. Balcony's where dirty with pigeon sh&t, all the rooms railings had paint peeling off looking trashy. Would rate rooms as decent...say 7 out of 10. Similar with rest of facility interior although it's bland by today standards. Would rate exterior as 3 out of 10 . I would rate hotel as 3 , not 4 star accommodations. We paid $200/night which is on high side for this type of accommodation IMO but it was bike week and I assume they raise rates for event. In general this part of Daytona seems to be deteriorating with some closed buildings, empty lots and poorly maintained buildings, maybe its economy or the fact they can keep things full with the spring breakers, NASCAR and bikers?"

"My husband booked our stay by calling instead of me purchasing online to make sure we would have a ocean view.. We even payed alittle extra so we wouldn't have just a partial view. The woman was 100% sure we would have a ocean view. Well we got there at 2:30 hoping maybe we could check in early. That did not happen. Our room wasn't ready till around 5ish and checkin was 4pm. Then are view was of the condo across the ally with our dumpster view. Plus they mentioned when we arrived to parton there dust they were renovating a few things. You could here them drilling, and hammering all day. Starting about 7:30 am till 5pm. If I would have known all of this ahead of time would have stayed down the street..The staff was nice, and said she had no ocean view left..I would not stay here again. I will say the condo itself was nice,and clean. The staff was friendly. Just wished We would have had our ocean view."

"We enjoyed our hotel and the amenities at the Daytona Beach Regency. Our Suite, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, w/ kitchen & kitchenette, was beautiful. We arrived early and were able to immediately checkin and hit the beach. This facility was one of the few that had suites available (we have a family of 5) and allowed you to book one night (we only had one day to spend in Daytona). I appreciated the flexibility that was afforded to us in making our vacation plans, and the fact that there were resonable accomodations for larger families.

The only suggestion I have is that the two elevators are updated. We spent an average of a 10 minute wait time every time we used the elevator. Our room was on the seventh floor thus it was not feasible to take the steps. This is a minor complaint and in no way interferred with our fun. We were a short walk away from Ocean Walk where we had dinner at Bubba Gumps, and the amusement rides on the boardwalk. The Labor Day fireworks and street party were great. My whole family enjoyed themselves and thanked me for finding such reasonable accommdations! I would recommend this facility to anybody. "
