"My family of 5 stayed there from for 6 nights July 8th first night and last night was july 13th. WHen booked was told breakfast included. WHen we checked in was told it was not included. Very nice girl at counter gave us 6 vouchers and wrote on them times 5 for breakfast $4.00 off per person. First day at breakfast we had a good breakfast with very nice waiter. However it was not $4.00 off per person. Manager that morning said she should not have done that. Argued over the fact that we had only 6 vouchers and said we should have had 1 per person. Explained to him she did it that way so she didnt have to write 30 of them so that is why she did one per day for 5 people. He didnt believe us. When we asked why was it advertised as free breakfast he said third party company advertises what they want. On third night half the outlets in the room went out on side kitchenette was on. Fridge went dead and ruined all food in the fridge. They couldnt figure out problem so they ran a extension cord from fridge all the way across room to another outlet. Heard so many people complaining over advertising discrepencies. When we left got charged a additonal $50.00 for parking and incidentals. PAYING TO PARK AT YOUR HOTEL??? Its not valet parking. Spend a extra $40.00 per night and go elsewhere it will even out in the long run. Ocean was awesome and staff other than manager was trying their best. Feel bad for the staff that has to work there and put up with the customers even though not their fault and beyond their control. Never heard so many guest complain at a hotel."

"This is not an 'Upscale Intimate Resort'! Their website is wrong about the continental breakfast (they discontinued it) and after paying for the trip we had to pay over $8.00 a day for 'Resort Fees'. Their idea of a resort was a palm tree and a dirty pool. Our first room was covered completely in mold and the whole fifth floor smelled. We were given a second room with a kitchen with three forks and a spoon. The staff on our floor were really nice and helped find pots and pans from neighboring rooms. The water didn't drain out of the bathtub and standing in dirty water is not my idea of luxury! The lights or the remotes didn't work and the rooms were not clean. My husband had to wait 20 minutes with our luggage cart to get on the elevator. He finally sent our son down to bring the elevator back up from the bottom to get it to work. We had guest come to visit us and the manager wanted to charge them $8 to park but the other employee spared us the cost when he left. I was pretty mad that they kept my 'Resort Fee' after all of these problems. The front desk lady said that my concern was out of her control and that a manager wouldn't be in until 1pm. How convenient is that since check out for everyone is at 11am. I felt that this hotel is going under and that they were trying to milk every penny they could from us. Never again will I stay here."

"Rooms were clean, no maid service on one day so, we called down to the front desk to ask for clean towels and they were never delivered! The toilet backed up so we had to call maintentance for it several times. The whole hotel completely ran out of pool towels at 4:00 in the afternoon (no apologies for it either). The airconditioning systems are wall units and VERY loud. It was hard to get sleep at night. On our last evening there ours stopped working in the middle of the night. They moved us to a different room so we could sleep (again no apologies for it). There were many other places to pick from once we got down there. I was upset that I had reserved four full days there.... :("

"The hotel has false advertisement! It states that Acapulco Hotel in Daytona Florida has free continental breakfast and they did not. We stayed for a week and planned accordingly and that was a a whole week worth of meals that we didn't intend to buy for 5 people. When we asked them about it they said they never claimed to have free breakfast but when I checked again online, it does say it. They said we could order from the menu and pay for it or go elsewhere. We didn't mind having to buy breakfast, it was just the fact that the hotel says 'free continental breakfast' which means they should have it. It also said the hotel had a bar in it and it was closed every single night we were there. How can they claim to have a bar but it was never open. We didn't get to go in one time. We went down several times about 9:30 and it was closed and went down our last night there at 9:45 and they were in there and said, 'oh we just closed two minutes ago. I think if a hotel has false advertisement, they should be penalized in some way for lying to the customers! Other than that, I loved everything about the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The maids were funny, nice, and did a spectacular job."

"Room had stains all over the smelly carpet, took the manager (only person who seemed to be working) 40 minutes to check us and one other couple in, can't say much for the bar/ restaurant/ breakfast area( I guess you call it), beds are so, so. My friend suggested the shores a couple of places down. We visited that place last night. I should have listened. Do more homework before you stay. We travel Florida hotels and resorts around 6 times a year. "
