"I expected more and got less! They were aware of the number of adults and children staying in our room, but there was only towel service for 2. The room was small. I guess because they were busy we were not asked about an upgrade or even told what was in the room we were booked for. There was mold in the bath tub, and the extra blanket was extremely dirty! We called the service to report a problem- a grp of 4 people yelling and shouting while making a sex video at the 5th floor pool, they said they would tell security, but we and several other familoes waited, and saw no one show up. The location and amenities are great, the hotel is beautiful, but I would have to think about staying there again."

"Overall, this was one of the best 'mystery rooms' I have booked. The room was spacious, clean and well-maintained, if not as luxurious some of the other rooms in this hotel. The property itself was very well-maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. Although on-site dining options were numerous, the staff, was both knowledgeable and helpful about other eateries in the area. The pool and beach access areas were very nice and the close proximity to the boardwalk attractions was a plus for my teenage daughter and her friend. I only had two small issues with my stay: several times when I needed to call the front desk, it rang and rang and rang with no answer and the self-parking system was atrocious. None of our room keys would allow us in or out of the parking lot and twice we waitedn in line to get out behind other patrons who were apparently having the same issue."

"The only downside of this hotel was the pool. It was not cleaned during the 3 days that I stayed there. A little sand in the bottom of the pool and things floating around. Otherwise everything else was great!"

"My stay was a good stay. The hotel was nice and clean, and a very friendly staff. The only complaint that I have is that the valet service was very unorganized. When I tried calling from the room so my car could be ready when I came down no one answered and then once I got down stairs it took over thirty minutes to get my car. Another family member traveled also and they lost his keys to his car. I wouldn't recommend using valet."

"We had a marvelous time at the hotel! Our room was perfect, clean and oceanfront!! Couldn't complain about a thing except that during happy hour in the bar at the hotel, our bartender told us there were no drink specials only to find out at the pool bar, when talking to the bar manager later, that there were drink specials at the inside sports bar. Very disappointed in that misinformation, but the bar manager made it up to us by giving us happy hour specials later that night when we were in the sports bar for a nightcap before retiring for the night. The help was fantastic, upon check-in, (come to find out) my boyfriend told the girl at the desk that he was going to propose (I said yes!) and she upgraded us to a beachfront view from a city view. How special, and it only got better from there! I will definitely be going back to this hotel for a lovely vacation, wouldn't hesitate for a moment. Don't let the negative Nellie's who have reviewed this hotel sway you, it's well worth the excellent bargain!!!"

"My trip to Daytona Beach was a really good one! The hotel was very clean and well run. They had a live band and a DJ the day we were there. It was right on the boardwalk steps from the beach and ferris wheel. I enjoyed the rooms ocean view and overall beauty of the hotel. I highly recommend and will be returning on my next visit to the area! One small negative: At check-in the it took quite awhile for valets to get you checked in and bags brought to your room!"

"Hotel is a little dated, but well worth the price! We had an ocean front room on the 15th floor - GREAT views!! Beds slept good. There was something sticky in our carpet, (about the size of a grapefruit) from the previous tennants that no one even attempted to get up. Grossest part, was the dead flies INSIDE the glass of the picture hanging on the wall. We enjoyed being in the middle of everything and loved that we were directly on the beach!"

"The hotel was nice we did enjoy it, the valet was not so great, they asked if we wanted to valet.. we said yes - no one came to help after 10 or 15mins so we took our own bags in. they said they would come back as they were busy but we got tired of waiting. the room was very comfortable for 4 of us, the hyde park restaurant was enjoyable.. service was a a little slow but food was good :) Overall - the valet was slow."

"We purchased our room and upon check-in, we were upgraded to a city view deluxe. The room was spectacular! We had dinner in the Hyde Park Steak House in the hotel and it was by far the best dining experience that my wife and I ever had! The whole weekend was great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who will listen!"

"We had a wonderful time. There was 3 ladies that shared the room. The hotel is first class. rooms were smaller than expected,no refridgerator. we had a ocean front but no baloney.
The staff was professional and helpful, the room was so clean.
I recommend this hotel to anyone. we will be going back."
