Took a vacation from TN to FL for Universal Studios and decided to make a detour and do a few days at the beach. We made the reservations the day prior to our visit and received a wonderful price ($97 for military booked through their site). It was my fiancé, myself, his brother, and sister. We got a Oceanview with 2 queens and a pull out couch and it was perfect for the 4 of us. There's beach access from the hotel and a nice outside shower to wash off the sand. Only downside would be no microw... Read more

This hotel is indeed directly on the beachfront. It was our last stop over the long Memorial Day Weekend. It was bar none the absolute best spot to stay. The view was incredible and the rooms all have balconies. I could go on and on. The parking was plentiful and free for guests. The breakfast buffet (also free) offered something for everyone. The beach was clean and surprisingly not too crowded. This will be my new go to spot when I just want a quick getaway!

Me and my husband stayed from Wed- Sat and I check in was good no problems at all. We had room 812 which in my opinion has the best view I loved it. You could see the ocean, pool and the city/river view. The hotel and the room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was not my favorite just because of the selections. What a fabulous and beautiful hotel and location the Hyatt Place is on Daytona Beach! Our room was oversized with a beautiful balcony right on the ocean and a spectacular view of the pool lit up at night. This staff is so helpful, professional, friendly, and effective, too. There is just something about the atmosphere of the hotel that makes one feel as if they were at a 5 Star resort. Breakfast is delicious and the housekeeping is thorough, too. Thanks so much, Andrew!

Staff consistently greeted me as if I was a VIP throughout my 3 day, 2 night stay. Their friendly attentiveness was so consistent throughout the days/eves that I thought I was in a 1940s movie. Clean and maintained very well; room size and suite-like layout made me feel very content. The included breakfast was exceptional. Plenty of seating and a variety of it - booths, tables, hi-tops. I am a huge fan of Hyatt Place's, am a Hyatt Platinum member, and have stayed at several across the country. Normally we just stay at convenient city locations close to major attractions. We stayed at the Hyatt Place for one night, for a family wedding. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The hot breakfast was ok. The beds are on the "hard" side. The bathroom has a frosted door, which is very pretty, but not very practical. Due to being a glass door if someone gets up in the middle of the night, or early in the morning. Breakfast included that is really great ( you don't have to think where to go eat in the morning). Also a huge plus is their food is available 24/7. It is delicious. Another big plus is that the place is quite in the evening: no loud music, no parties or karaoke going on. You can have good night sleep. The on... Read more

We arrived on a very rainy day, so rainy in fact that the lobby floor was being sgweegeed and a fan was running to dry things out. The staff handled everything very professionally in spite of the weather and made sure our stay started off on the right foot. Our room (reserved King oceanfront) was ready and very clean. Towels by the pool were always plentiful. Free breakfast buffet changed options daily with something for everyone and included several fruit juices, coffee, hot teas, milks and wat... Read more

As soon as you walk into the comfortable decorated lobby at the Hyatt Place in Daytona Beach, your senses are greeted with a wonderful calming smell, low lighting, and immediate cooldown from the Florida heat. You pass a comfortable seating area on the way to the front desk. The staff are friendly and welcoming. As one previous reviewer noted, the checkin includes the staff walking around the desk to hand you the room key card. The halls to the rooms are flanked on one side by big windows and a ... Read more

This hotel seems quite new, is very clean and modern, and has a nice beach. It is a little south of the hustle and bustle of Daytona's busy section, but close to many good restaurants. There is a free breakfast buffet that is okay, and an in-house Starbucks for those who like that sort of thing. I'll go back!

This hotel is clean and its staff, friendly. The rooms are spacious, with seating areas and balconies. The bathroom is modern and spacious as well. We had 2 rooms booked for our stay, 1 with a king bed (stand up shower) and the other with 2 queens (tub). Same size room, the seating area was a tad smaller for the room with the 2 beds. The hotel provides pool towels as well. We loved that they had enough lounge chairs by the pool and a shower and faucet where you can rinse off when coming from th... Read more

This is an excellent hotel, with a great location. The staff was great, rooms clean, and if you have ever stayed at a Hyatt Place before, it is exactly what you would expect. That said there were 2 issues that kept me from giving this 5 stars. The first issue was a myself and 2 other guys had to carry a disabled guest (partial paralyzed) down the stairs to the pool because the lift by the pool was broken. Turns out it was broken their whole stay, and also the shower seat broke when he sat on... Read more

We tried to save money by going with a "budget" hotel on the beach and immediately knew we had made a mistake. After one night we left that hotel and checked in to the Hyatt Place (we had previously stayed there before). Is it more expensive? Yes, but it's so worth it. It was like coming home. It was familiar and comfortable. The staff is amazing. The free belreakfast is great. It's always clean and the decor is modern and plush. This will be my go to for Daytona Beach Shore from now on.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We paid extra for the romance package and the 2 p.m. checkout was worth it. This hotel is not in the hustle and bustle of Daytona Beach... Which we appreciated. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. We had free hot breakfast. The drinks at the poolside bar were excellent. We rented chairs and an umbrella for only $20 for 3 hours. I will be back!!

This hotel is PHENOMENAL! The Staff, location and room quality is tops, especially in the area! The hotel is also extremely intentional and all about satisfaction, in the large and small! There are even signs encouraging 'quiet hours' which include time restrictions for the ice machines! The Staff is cheerful and attentive! The hotel is spotless and perfectly located... This hotel has nice and clean hotel rooms, an ok breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpful. We were very disappointed at parking. It is very limited on weekends. Also if you plan on hanging by the pool pick up food somewhere else first. The selection is horrible and way to pricy for what you get. Their idea of Grande nachos is chips and cheese whiz. which cost 14.00.

We arrived yesterday and I cannot say enough good things about this property. I am a bit of a snob about hotels. This is a great place. The breakfast was very good. Not only dog friendly, they have no problem with a 70lb dog. There are two dog friendly floors. We are very pleased with the accommodations.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Our family booked 10 rooms at a group rate which was very reasonable for an oceanfront hotel. Great views from all rooms. The suite was definitely comfortable with plenty of room for a family. Although there is no on-site restaurant there are plenty of nearby restaurants several within walking distance

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. Eight years :) Now for the review : The beginning : Hotel super easy to find. GPS leads right to it. Parking: Plenty of places to park.. In September. I can only imagine how obnoxious it could get in peak months. There's limited parking in front , but there's some in the back. No lighting (for sea turtle nesting). If you park back there, you will get this film from saltwater on your vehicle. No biggie, just obnoxious. If all the parking spo... Read more

Hotel, food & staff were far beyond our expectations. The pool was clean and there were more than enough lounge chairs around the pool. I especially found the two cold water containers to be welcome amenity during the heat of the day. The spa was nice for relaxation in the evening. We will definitely stay at this Hyatt on future trips to Daytona Beach.

Congratulations to your human resource department in finding all the right staff that were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Each and every staff member we met were wonderful. Having a full breakfast included in your stay is always a big bonus, so you don't have to find a breakfast place before you really begin your day. I am a runner frm Colorado, so it is a treat for me to run barefoot on the beach--and I thoroughly enjoyed the serenity. Afterwards, I was ready for our breakfast! We arrived at 10:05--mistakenly thinking breakfast was until 11am. Additionally, we are gluten free, so there was slim pickings as everything was being closed up. Brenton (a kitchen em... Read more
