I thought the hotel was 3 star but the people were 4 star. 6 story with outdoor pool and spa. Weight room a little small but has a bench and dumbbells. The area is definitely in town, lots of restaurants, businesses within 10 min.

If the hotel was to provide proper plates, cups and cutlery for breakfast and ideally some sort of small snack bar the experience would be really good. Also, a smaller point, but paper cups in such a nice room seems a bit of an odd and unnecessary economy.

Was not as close to Cocowalk as I was expecting so took me a little time to locate it. Check in fast and easy. Managers reception and complimentary breakfast a plus. Toilet overflowing first thing in the morning put a damper on the trip since we were only there for 1-night, trying to get ready and check-out with 3-kids with no bathroom to use...not good

We arrived rather late at the hotel. Almost 1AM. The front desk did check us all in with 5 rooms and 11 people. The room is pretty good with two queen size bed. Parking is $12.00/car at a gated garage. Metered street parking is available from 7AM-7PM. breakfast is included from 7AM-10AM. Lots of choices and pretty good items.

Clean, decently done up rooms with everything working. I must admit I was worried at first since I have lost all status with my HiltonHonors program but I did not feel treated in any way that was less than welcoming. So will definitely stay here again if the need arises. There are a couple of really cool eating places within walking distance to the and the hotel staff has a list of all of them. We stayed with our family of four in this hotel. The room is okay. The window in our room was small so the room itself was a bit dark. The carpets in the room could use a good 'steam' clean. If you walk bare feet or with light colored socks you sure they are black. Breakfast was good! Warm products and enough choices. The Metro is close by so the connection to the city center was good. The neighborhood where the hotel stands is OK but not more then that. It's strange you have to pay an extra $12... Read more

The hotel was ok, BUT everything else there was not what we expect from Hampton Inn's!!! The front desk staff we're not friendly at all. Hampton Inn is a brand with a very consistent experience, no matter where you are. The rooms and facilities are all alike, breakfast tastes the same and it normally is a good value for money. The poor internet connection made our stay very frustrating, we had to go down to the lobby to get a decent connection so we could check our emails, this is not consistent with other Hampton Inn hotels. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, rooms were spotless, breakfest was good and hot and was quite a surprise for quality ( not Brennan's in New Oreleans ) but was very good. My trip was centered around going to Biscayne National Park and Everglades National Park. I stayed at this hotel because of how close it was to both places as well as close to good restaurants. Coconut Grove also seemed like a nice area from what I saw. The hotel itself was overall nice: clean rooms, up to date, and it provided a "free" breakfast(which was automatically good because it was free). About an hour to Biscayne visitor center and Shark Valley. Would stay again if I'm ever in Miami.

I personally do not care to stay at Hampton Inns as they are the bottom of Hilton property sites but this Hampton actually demonstrated to beat out their sister hotels Garden Inn and Doubletree! Hampton breakfasts are the worst ever but this hotel actually tried to step it up. Eggs are still fake but least they put the effort in. Shocker here? There is an evening Happy Hour. Parking at the Port of Miami is expensive. The off-site lots all have terrible reviews, which include broken windows, long waits, and stolen/damaged property. I was excited to see that this hotel offers a "stay and cruise" package, where you book your stay at the hotel, then you can leave your vehicle parked in their gated underground garage until you return! what a deal! and the front desk staff remembered us a week later when we returned from the cruise!

Will definitely recommend this hotel. Clean, good beds, conveniently located and helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had lot of choices and employees were very friendly. Parking was no problem at all, even if you came late at night and had to park underground

I stay here often. The rooms are consistently clean and maintained. The grounds always clean. The breakfast is your typical Hampton breakfast. The service is very good. Alex at the front desk is outstanding. He always seems to go the extra mile. Parking has never been an issue.

Hampton Inn was so wonderful.. We stayed here for one night and wished we stayed for one week.. it was excellent.. The parking was a bit pricy but still worth it.. They take awhile to release your credit card but still it was done. Great rooms, wonderful service and excellent breakfast. Thank you so much.

Shower is horrible, lever is close to the floor with no temperature control. Temperature goes to scorching hot and you can't control lever just need to jump back away from water. Electrical outlet for use of hairdryer is installed upside down where if you have a hairdryer or use the hotel complimentary one that needs the 3 prong usage it will be falling out constantly.

This was a lovely hotel experience. We had two rooms as we were traveling with our 84 year old mom. She was so pleased with her room and stay, it gave us happiness. Our tradition is the earliest up runs down stairs and gets the robust coffee from the buffet and then bring it upstairs which we did for all three of us. It was then breakfast on your own and we loved the breakfast items especially the sausage gravy and biscuits. Just an overall nice experience for our family.

My wife and I stayed here the night before we left for our cruise. The room was nice and clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was what a good continental spread. The wifi did seem slow. The other issue we encountered was our free taxi to the port. The hotel allows you to park there during your cruise, for a fee. They then provide you a taxi to the port for free. I'm not sure who is to fault, the cab driver or the hotel, but the taxi was 10-15 minutes late. We scheduled the... Read more

The hotel was wonderful. It is right across the street from the meto line. It is about a mile to the Coco Walk shopping center. You could walk to restaurants, but we used uber. The breakfast was great. They have a shuttle to the port for cruises too which was amazing. The staff was very helpful.

Came into Miami for a quick business trip. This place had rave reviews online, so we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. Great room size! Bathroom was extremely clean [with no bubbling on the ceiling from heat - something we always look for] and spacious enough for both the wife and I. The ONLY issue I would take with the bathroom is the counter is super long and there is only 1 sink. But that's not going to keep us from booking this hotel again in the future.

Ususally you go to Miami and rent a car, well this hotel has free parking inside! Excellent! The location is ok, nos so far from restaurants in Coconut Grove, but you have to go be car. Very clean facilities and rooms, the pool is ok. Very recommendable!

The Hampton Inn Coconut Grove was an exceptional hotel, my stay with them was very pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was great, and always offered a variety of options. Also, the hotel provide an evening sweet treat, along with "Happy Hour" which consisted of fruit & veggie tray, chicken wings, cheese & meat tray, cola, and adult beverages.

The Hampton Inn has a great location right next to the Metrorail station - very convenient for getting to downtown Miami. The accommodation was comfortable and roomy, there was no problem with noise either from inside or outside the hotel, and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. We particularly appreciated the extra touches such as constantly available hot drinks, the weekday 'happy hour' with free drinks and snacks, and the buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at this hotel using park and cruise package. Parking is in 2 - story garage, so covered if you park on lower level. This level also has gated entry, so seemed very secure. Shuttle to port was included, but only left at noon, a little later than I would have preferred. Taxi back to hotel after cruise was about $30 (before tip.) We stayed here the night before our cruise. Rooms are nice. Free breakfast. Bring a sweater or jacket, they keep it cold - but that is so typical in Florida. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Note that the hotel can set you up with transportation to the port for $10 per person, but you can get an Uber for less.
