We only stayed here for two nights so not enough time to really get a good feel of the place. This is a big hotel/resort with lots of rooms and plenty of parking. Check in was easy and the map provided was sufficient to navigate around the place. We stayed room only but you could get meals on site with plenty of choices. The bar is next to the beach and has a really relaxed feel about it. The beach is accessed via this bar and is really good, you can rent chairs umbrellas etc but they are a tad ... Read more

I was only staying one night and couldn't wait to get out of the place. First thing I found was a dead palmetto which was huge in the bathroom. Only one set of towels for 3 people. When I went to the desk I was told that the bug was command in FL and said he was sorry but couldn't offer me a credit because I already paid. Then I found out that the tub was dirty in the room beside us which we had rented also. Later in the evening I found out there was another dead bug in our room. It's ve... Read more

This hotel is clean but needs updating. Nice pool. The kids splash area was closed for refurbishing which we were not aware of and had come mostly for our kids to be able to play there. No discount from hotel was offered because of it. I like the fact that there were 4 restaurants so we never had to leave the place

We have stayed here four times. And every time we say we will stay somewhere else. The rates are fairly cheap and it is on the beach and Mambos the open air restaurant is good....so we go back. My last review was titled what a million dollar makeover would do. We heard a feature on the local news that they where doing some improvements to the property. They were working on the kiddie pool and we saw some new signs around the property. Our room was ok but dated. If I was going for the retr... Read more

To call this place a resort is a joke. On May 28 we checked in and went to our room, that was dirty and not secure. We accepted it as was as we were exhausted, only to be interrupted by someone trying to enter our room at 12:02am. Only the security latch prevented them from doing so. The person said they were Security, then left. I called the desk and they told me that there was a delivery being made to a room and they went to the wrong room. WRONG ANSWER. I complained then and in the morn... Read more

Yes, this is an older property; but, I can't imagine a better value for a stay in this area. The colors in the room are a bit dated, the sink is old, the carpet is worn, and the mattress isn't as firm as it once was; but, it was clean and comfortable. We all absolutely loved having a heated pool. We enjoyed being a 5-minute walk to the beach, and having lunch with a view of the ocean. We paid an extra $25 to get the "kids area" 3 beds and a tv in a small closed off space of the room. Th... Read more

Would give it zero if I could. Accomodation was disgusting. Room was filthy; carpet, upholstery and interior of stove. Should have packed my bags and left. It was Spring Break so not much available. Spent as little time at International Palms as possible. My room on the south end faced Marlin condominiums across a "courtyard" two sidewalks wide. This was called an Ocean Villa. Accomodation had visible mold in small kitchen area and whole place smelled musty. Kitchen stove had burnt on grease on ... Read more

We booked an ocean front room, but be aware that rooms on the first floor facing the ocean will only see trees and not really the beach. We were offered to upgrade to a higher floor but it was $60 more and didn't seem worth it for one night. Rooms on the first floor are cheaper than the upper floors, but it wasn't made obvious when booking on Orbitz that we weren't really getting an ocean view, so that was kind of disappointing. The coffee machine didn't work well and ended up leaking everywhere... Read more

We have been coming here for 10 years. The hotel has been slowly declining to the point that we cannot stay here again. We booked and put in the notes we would not be in till 7am, the night auditor after not reading the notes promptly checked us in at midnight then cancelled my reservation. We looked at reviews and pictures of the hotel and really looked forward to our stay. The check in process was fine and we got the keys to our room rather quickly. However, when we arrived to our room, the front door looked as if it had been previously kicked in (room 221 on North side of property) and was simply jerry rigged to close again. I booked this hotel online through expedia with the thought that it should be ok because it came recommended but definitely not ok. This was a one night stopover before a cruise and we loved the idea of staying at the beach. Their security staff seems only preoccupied with the pool area and not the parking lot area. I would only give this hotel two stars as it's old, the condition isn't great...feels like a run down motel. That being said, room was clean, bed was comfortable and temperature was good. Suite condition was extremely loud which probably helped drown out outside noise. There was a dirty diaper in the trash can and no shampoo in the bathroom..only soap. We slept fine and didn't spend time in the room otherwise.

On the beach with a short walk down to the ocean; very cool. The room was great, it had everything we needed, especially a cold A/C. I have stayed here many times when it was a Holiday Inn property, it has deteriorated to the point where the location and reasonable prices are no longer enough to justify coming back. Maid service is spotty, in room phones are non existent or broken, TV reception sucks (I know, it's on the beach, but it rains sometime requiring in room entertainment at times) if you can put up with substandard facilities to be on the beach it's OK but I no longer can.

Plenty of great stuff to do with the kids. The kids pool was awesome, shallow water with great padded slides. Tennis and basketball courts were next to the pool and the beach was right there. Mambo's beach side restaurant had a reasonably priced kids menu and there was a nice variety for me and my wife. Not only your typical bar food but a selection of seafood choices as well. Mambos is fantastic. Would have been even better if the weather had been good for us, but unfortunately it wasn't.

They call themselves a "Resort" what a joke. We only needed to stay for one night and wanted to be close to Port Canaveral as we were cruising out the next day. Anyway, this place was terrible!! Rooms were old and outdated, no parking, sketchy people everywhere drinking and smoking. My family did not feel safe here at all. Lady at the desk was nice and tried to help me find another hotel close, but all were booked. Ended up having to drive probably 20 miles away just to find a room. Worst ... Read more

This was actually a difficult place to rate. The grounds themselves were fantastic. The rooms were terrible. So I decided to go with three stars to even it out. My wife and I stayed here at a discounted rate and we were happy with the price. The staff were ultra nice. Very, very, polite and accommodating. The rooms weren't nearly as nice as the staff. The room doors were difficult to operate. We went to the front desk thinking that the door handle was broken but security showed us the "... Read more

Was recommended to this place by a local , saying it was a great hotel. Never again. This place is disgusting. Rooms smell, bathroom is dirty, everything is rusted and just not clean looking. I will choose my own place next time. I wouldn't stay but have three rooms of family! This is no better than a hotel 8

Our family of five reserved 2 rooms for the night before our cruise. You should know by reading reviews and looking through pictures that this isn't a five star property. However, the staff was great, the location is steps away from the beach, there are numerous food choices right on the property with a lot to do. We requested oceanfront - 2nd story. The room isn't great, but it was clean and we were only in it when sleeping. Otherwise, we were outside at the oceanfront bar, on the beach, in ... Read more

I am giving this 3 stars because the location was good. The set up of this hotel is alot different than others I have been to on the beach, the rooms are located around the pool when most hotels on the beach the pool is normally closest to the beach but the pool is really big with lots of chairs and a kids pirate ship/splash park that was nice. It appears not many rooms with ocean view, we were in a room near the hot tub so not much of a view but okay. *****My complaints are several plugs in ou... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights. Not bad for the price. We stayed in their basic double bed room. No bugs so that's a plus! Room was kind of small but the AC worked great and there was a small fridge and microwave. The location is good, pool was huge, the kid pool/pirate ship was neat, pool bar was nice, on location restaurant on beach was very good and not too pricey...I guess my main complaint is that they shut everything down at 10:00 every night and it is strictly enforced. The room with the kids areas are very small and very dirty. These rooms are lacking in every way. Don't let the pictures of the white comforters fool you. The staff is kind. The pool and splash pad are great. Access to the beach is easy, with a place to rent chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Easy walk up to the restaurant and bar. But, seriously, don't book a kid room. My family spent a little over a week at the International Palms Resort in Cocoa Beach. They were pet friendly and accommodating to our needs. The kids had a great time playing in the pool and we danced to live music at Mambo's. Every single day that we returned to the hotel from our daily travels are Keys did not work. This was extremely inconvenient and caused us a bit of grief. Housekeeping did a great job. Tracy Ross

We had a loft room. Very spacious but it is very retro back in time to the 70's. The room has the bare bones essentials but for a beach place it's great. The room smells like cigarettes smokes. The bathrooms and kitchen areas are worn out run down. Well painted clean but retro. Beach style what can I say. It's not a city hotel with all the toys. I stayed for a week at this hotel. The accommodation's were adequate but nothing special. The "resort" is large and Mambo's restaurant was great. Our unit's building was no where near the ocean (we could and did walk to the ocean). We were in the middle of the parking lot behind other properties. No view of any kind. The bathroom definitely needs work (kitchen faucet for the bathtub was hard to work and control the water temperature) but the beds were nice and the A/C worked great.
