I've been staying at this property regularly since the Holiday Inn Resort changed hands. I've always been extremely satisfied. Clean, comfortable rooms, great beach views even from the side view, courteous staff that strikes the right balance of friendliness and respect of privacy. The property offers activity if you want, and privacy if you want. Location is fantastic, close to restaurants, groceries, and Ron Jon while being on a somewhat less crowded stretch of the beach. I love being able to ... Read more

The front desk staff was great and so helpful. I found the room to be more than I ever expected! The view of the ocean from the room and balcony was so amazing! I found the restaurant to serve great food--especially the chowder! The bartender was so friendly and helpful. I had dinner there at the bar, and enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Will stay there same time next year!

I did not feel comfortable as an average size person with the bathroom design. Also, the pillows were the size of a small sofa cushion. They placed us on a floor that had cabinetry lined throughout the hall. I am happy we did not have our kids..... That would have created a big safety issue.

Our experience at this hotel was fabulous start to finish. The hotel is lovely, right on the ocean and with a superior staff. The front desk was quite busy when we arrived, on a holiday weekend Friday, and that did not prevent the associates from being extremely friendly and helpful in the process of checking in. The room was great, with a balcony view of the Atlantic. The restaurant serves very good food; we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there, as well as a lunch by the pool and all were ... Read more

The woman in the breakfast area and bartender were also great help and even changed the TV channel so we could watch tennis! You guys are the best!

I stayed at Double Tree on June 4th after Days Inn Cruise Port made a mistake on my reservation. I had stayed there before and had improved... Double Tree Cocoa Beach is the best place to stay in Cocoa. Next to the beach, the amazing view from all of the rooms is astonishing. The pool was warm and cozy. My granddaughter had a blast. She is learning to swim and had the chance to practice during the whole Saturday afternoon. Then, we went for a walk to the beach. At night, we went to the Pier. O... Read more

I was disappointed that there was no coffee available in the lobby. You basically were tied to their restaurant for coffee. The pool was very stained (or algae) and we didn't want to swim in it. But the room was clean, bed comfortable and service good. I've just been used to paying more for Hilton and having a GREAT experience.

My booking was very deceiving as I ask for an OCEAN VIEW king. Got the king BUT seeing a sliver of ocean...if you crane your neck to the right and look over the entrance portico you see what appears to be water. Not at all what I pictured!!! I gave up trying to open the patio door when I realized it would only allow me to see more of the building/balconies and the view of the water would be the same.

Number one problem of the hotel: only 16 rooms that are "ocean front". Those stay booked! Number two problem: it's the little things: AC rattling, digital keys not working, lounge chair at pool ripped. When one is at a hotel and spending that kind of money: one expects things to be perfect! (BTW: staff, it's one of the metal lounges with blue fabric in the garden alcove.) A maid that made me go to the front desk, because my digital key wasn't working: she wouldn't let me into my own room. The we... Read more

If you took all of the features you'd come to expect from a Hilton property and all the features you'd expect (or not expect) at a 2-star hotel, shook them in a cup and yelled Yahtzee!, the tossed-out jumble would resemble the DoubleTree at Cocoa Beach. Perhaps I'm jaded because I once stayed at a DoubleTree property with orange trees outside every room, but bear with me here. The ground floor of the hotel was everything you'd expect - a clean, semi-upscale lobby, open bar and restaurant are... Read more

This hotel was great! The staff was helpful and we're able to hold our bags for us when we were early. The room was clean and huge and every room had a balcony. The hotel had direct beach access and a restaurant which was convienient. The only thing I didn't like was how small the pool was and how far away it was from any nightlife.

I worked with the Reservations manager Jacquelyn Whittaker who helped reserve a block of rooms for the group of teachers attending a NASA conference at Kennedy Space Center. She was terrific with follow-up and detail. The teachers loved the location, rooms, and beach. After the conference, we hung out on the beach, the and in the lobby area where we were welcomed by a friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend that you do too.

They have amazing balconies that allow the sea breeze to flow into your room! The normal rooms are perfect, and the staff are great. Just stay away from the "premium" rooms that face the beaches. it is a WASTE of money if you plan to leave your Balcony door open. Building is old from previous use. Although it was freshly painted recently, rust was already bleeding through the doors and frames in the bathroom ,tub was rusty , carpet in the room would leave your feet dirty when barefoot. Room was small and beds were full size, not queen size as expected. Not enough room for two adults in a bed. At those prices and especially a Hilton property, I would have expected much better.

I thought the finishes were a bit to be desired in the guest room, specifically in the bathroom, but overall I was happy with my experience. Drinks at bar, especially during happy hour were tasty. Food was just o.k. Beach was quiet. I think that the Hilton is a large enough organization that you can charge a few more bucks for the room Instead of charging for chair and umbrella rentals. Dinning takes forever on order. Check the food and make sure its not burnt. Very small bathroom. But the staff seemed kind for the most part. Sarah, the waitress did not look clean and professional. Her hair was all over the place and smeared mascara. When I was told I had an upgrade as a Gold member, Its simply the upper level Hilton Honors floor but the rooms are standard rooms..nothing special. I was greeted with cookies on my way in and I appreciate that.

We were here for 5 days for a rocket launch. The staff was very accommodating, went out of their way to help. They catered several meetings and the food was good. The rooms need work. They are shabby but clean. The door frames look rusted. Our sliding door frame had a huge gap between it and the wall. I thought they caulked it, but the gap was back 2 days later One of our 2 bathroom mirrors had the frame fall apart. It is a wonder it didn't break on us. Our room was spacious, bed and linens we... We had a north side King Suite, which was at the end of a very long hallway, but I was in no way upset with this, because we had asked for a quiet corner, and this afforded us exactly that. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was well orchestrated and responsive. The front desk had excellent restaurant and activity recommendations, and it is in a great location for the Kennedy Space Center.

Nothing really out of the norm here. The rooms are very basic, 2 beds, 1 desk and chair, and 1 single seat couch. I don't believe the breakfast is free here. Which is really lame. You can get as many free cookies as you want. The restaurant downstairs is ok. nothing spectacular. They made fire brick oven pizzas.

Stayed in this hotel when traveling on business - the hotel overlooks the beach but the reception gave me a room on the ground floor. They said it had partial view - I had to be either 8 feet or stand on a chair all the time to see the beach. If you are going to stay here, make sure you insist on a room in one of the higher floors. Has direct access to the beach so ideal for your morning walk and evening run.

This is your typical beach property..... run down and outdated. This was surprising, given that it is in the Hilton portfolio. The pool is very small. If the hotel is busy, this would not be a good place to relax. The hotel is near the beach, though. Twelve rooms are oceanfront; others have a limited view of the ocean.

The room was very nice, with a fabulous view, but unfortunately we had a little leak in the ceiling above the air conditioner, presumably from the hurricane. The ocean view room was located directly above unsightly lower rooftop air handlers, but more importantly, they are so old that they make way more noise than the ocean waves which I hoped to hear from my room.
