The hotel staff was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating when we needed something. The room was very clean and beds were great with what appeared to be new mattresses. Loved the outdoor pool which was heated and surrounded by a gorgeous landscaped sitting area of flowers. My little poodle was even very content and comfortable and the rates were GREAT! I wish I knew the name of the tall young guy working at the front desk, because I would give him a BIG shout out!! He was extremel... Read more

This hotel is under renovation, and our room was nice, with a few exceptions. Nice new tile floors. OK bathroom except the exhaust fan wasn't working. Sliding glass doors to the outside were hard to operate. Paint was pretty good. Overall, a good medium-priced hotel with fair breakfast. Best thing is they don't charge extra for pets.

I have been coming to this motel for several years. For some reason it seems as if my daughter wants her birthday party with lots of friends at this location. The teens can enjoy the swimming pool watch movies and have a very good time. I kind of miss the Suites that they had but they have made a lot of renovations they still have the pull out couch, the king size bed with a small refrigerator. but they don't have the suite. I highly recommend this hotel as it is very clean the swimming pool ... Read more

This is an older hotel. They are in process of updating the rooms. My only complaint is what ever they cleaned with left a very strong odor. Other than that the room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was the usual Buffet type food at most hotels.

Stayed here one night prior to leaving for a cruise. I will say, the price for one night including parking for the week was awesome however, the hotel would not be my first choice. First off, the front desk ladies were very nice upon check in. They were very friendly and advised me where the best parking was to be close to our room, when the cruise pick up time was, etc. Can't say enough about them. When we went to our room, thank goodness it was on the first floor as there are no elevators to t... Read more

We had an incredible four day stay... That turned into eight based on amazing service and a great atmosphere. The pool and hot tub are in excellent condition, and the overall atmosphere is extremely welcoming. The breakfast saved us $25 per day, and met all of our needs. The weekday breakfast lady is amazing! She is incredibly positive and hard working each morning. The cleaning staff are very helpful and respectful of privacy. This is a budget hotel, with a non-budget atmosphere. We will be ... Read more

We travelled with a 2.5 month baby and dog and had a room on the first level facing the pool. We booked the room for a few nights but enjoyed Clearwater and the hotel so much we stayed for nine nights! Pros: We had an executive king room which was spacious enough for two adults, dog crate, and crib with plenty of extra room. The executive king room has a Keurig maker with individualized coffee pods which was a fantastic feature. The pool was cleaned each morning and the grounds were very relax... Read more

This hotel was ok, it's an older hotel but they tried to give us a good room.. We did have a pool view.. too bad our stay was cold and rainy. The room was updated. We were in an outside room. this means that we had to climb stairs to get to our room.. We both have bad backs and carrying luggage upstairs was a bit of an issue.. but not a deal breaker. We did ask for another room but they were fully booked and could not move us.. We did have a micro and fridge. The AC worked great. The ... Read more

The entire place is as ghetto as you can get. The front desk girl seemed more interested in tending to her GF than actually doing her job. The hotel is a maze and to find your room you have to have a map and hope for the best.! The pool was disgusting and full of people that weren't even staying there. I'm being generous with the 2 rating.

Our stay at the La Quinta was perfect. Alice Young ensured that every one of our needs were met. She was a delight and made my family's stay as comfortable as could be. The rooms were extremely clean and had all of the comforts of home. It was a nice change of pace to have such a nice night away from home. We will recommend the La Quinta to all our friends and relatives.

We have stayed at this location many times and are never disappointed. The hotel facilities are undergoing total refurbishment. The pool and spa areas are very clean. The room we had was newly redone. The breakfast(included in the room rate) is one of the better free breakfasts available with many selections, not the usual. This is a budget hotel, however,it is one of the best I have been to.Good value for your money. Many great places to eat close by as well.

We had a very relaxing stay at this nice hotel. The room was quite in the evening. A bit noisy during the day because of the renovations being done. Our room was a pet room and well done on the floor selection, faux wooden tile. Helps clean up any accidents and keeps the room smelling fresh. The back side of the hotel was nicely quite. The AM breakfast was very good and the lady in charge of breakfast was industrious and assured the food was plentiful and warm. The day manager provided a persona... Read more

My AC couldn't get fixed until the next day so I needed a place to sleep for the night. I've stayed at LaQuintas around the South East and I've always been happy. The ability to bring two dogs of 50-60 lbs is great. The fact that LQ doesn't charge an additional fee is incredible. As with every stay. I enjoyed a clean comfortable room at a good price.

La Quinta was amazing. The price was reasonable, the breakfast wasn't too bad either. It was super quiet. The front desk was friendly. The room was super clean. The room offered a microwave, refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee maker. Overall my husband and I were very pleased. So convenient to the beach.

We frequent LaQuintas for consistency. Although this LaQuinta was OK, the room did not have the recliner that I'm accustomed to when I stay at a LaQuinta. I have a very bad back and often need a recliner to get rested night's sleep. The hotel was in the middle of some renovations so hopefully recliners will be in there future. Great staff and conveniently located just blocks from the Phillies baseball complex.

My husband and I stayed in Clearwater for 5 nights and 6 days. Originally, we had planned on staying at Clarion Inn & Suites but after reading reviews, I decided to book with La Quinta. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and greeted me immediately whenever I walked in the door to check-in. The process was quick and painless. Had a 2 day business trip with my husband and brought our 2 dogs with us. We chose this hotel because of its location and being pet friendly. About an hour before our arrival I received a call that our room was ready. That's never happened before! Check in was smooth and gal at the desk very pleasant! This hotel was centrally located to the beach, Busch Gardens, St. Pete and all of our destinations. It was a good value for our dollar. We met friends from Virginia and even though it rained, we had a good time. We used the breakfast room for board games and enjoyed the enclosed hot tub. Clean and friendly.

This is my go to hotel because I like to travel with my dogs. Unfortunately they just changed their insurance policy and no longer accept pit bulls. The rooms are clean and the free breakfast is great. I like that they have rooms indoors rather than the room doors on the outside of the building. I have been in the pools once.

Actually a 3.5 star rating. Stayed there one night as our home A/C gave out. They met our needs with a last minute reservation at a reasonable price.....honoring a request for a first floor room. Pool was nice.....breakfast decent. Property could use updating but room was a nice size. Room looked clean, but immediately after checking out, my wife went to a hair appointment where her Hairdresser told her she had head lice. Coincidence ? Not sure.....but did report this to LaQuinta.

During our hotel hopping, we stayed here two nights. I loved having a sliding door wall window panel. Two chairs outside. That was so comfy in the morning. Room was clean however, the shower was very difficult to work. Lukewarm water the first night but got hot water the second night. Not really much of a location unless there is something near that you want to see. I would not choose to stay here again as there are lots of hotels in the area. IF you decide to stay here, which we wouldn't again, be sure to ask for a 'suite.' The rooms are a good size and found them pretty clean except for hair in the bathroom and parts of the mop strings left there. N a regular room there s a coffee pot that uses pods and a chair BUT in the suite there is a Keurig coffee maker and a desk. The front desk end is 'manned' by only 1 person and if you have a complaint they act like they don't care and most of the time don't respond to your complaint. W... Read more
