Our first stop in the US this trip, acclimatizing in Clearwater Beach. Location is an easy drive from Tampa Airport and practically situated walking distance from the beach and walking distance from places to eat, stores etc in Clearwater Beach. Close to the Aquarium also which we would recommend to visit. Rooms are all ground floor, tight (especially the toilet) but sufficient for one or two nights. Generally clean, although there was quite a bit of dust on the walls. The room we had was direct... Read more

Stayed 5 days. The place was clean, friendly and a great location. Beautiful grounds not to mention a great bargain. We will return. Management could not have been more accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Stayed 3 nights last month and were so pleased we chose the Amber Tides. Ulli and Michelle are amazing hosts who treated us like family. The hotel is in a great location, about 5 mins from the beach and near some brilliant restaurants. Our room was huge, with a table, chairs, loads of storage, lovely bathroom, fridge, microwave and a large coffee machine. It was clean and very comfy. Michelle explained that if we wanted anything they would get it but otherwise we would be left alone to chill an... Read more

We booked this motel last minute for a quick weekend in Clearwater. It is a block from the beach either way and within walking distance of lots of hotels, bars, and shops. The rooms are a bit dated but really clean and comfortable. They have two great little pools and lots of outdoor seating, tables, grills, and fire pits. This would be a fantastic place to bring a group!

We always stay 2 weeks at Amber Tides then we are in Florida, multiple times now. Great location, great rates on Clearwater Beach. Probably the best motel on CWB Room are clean and comfortable and outside area is very tropical and several grilling areas. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and restautrants. Always a great time when stay here, Ullie and Michelle are perfect hosts. We will be back.

Great trip. The best set up a laid back homey trip. The ability to cook our own meals on the grills 10 feet from our room saved us money and made it feel like we were in our back yard. Whereas most vacations can be stressful this one was definitely not.

This is an older style, small vintage motel. I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and thought we'd pay a visit. It is very well kept with lush landscape and 2 beautiful pools one large one small. A little piece of paradise in between some new larger hotels. The hosts Uli and Michelle are nice people, upgraded us to a two bedroom apt. with a full kitchen. I make breakfast every morning for my hubby, I don't eat in the morning so it saves us some money. They had some unexpected people here fleeing h... Read more

Clean, quiet, comfortable... what more could you ask for? Couple that with caring owners who make sure things are perfect, and you can't go wrong. It's a very short walking distance to everything. I would definitely stay there again (and again).

I read the reviews online and thought the place was perfect! Nice price, close to beach. It was nice, and the staff was super nice. I wasn't sure when I saw the motel in person about my reservation. In person, it wasn't something I would select for traveling solo. It's a little run down and is dated. It served what I needed, but was a favorite because of appearance.

This is a nice little place close to the beach. The price was good. The rooms were clean and the owners were very friendly. Had a full kitchen with everything you would need to prepare your own meals. For the price it is well worth staying here.
