6 days to relax following a two week drive from LA to Florida. Large clean well equipped room with comfy bed. Pool area few steps from door. Two beautiful pool areas with tables, chairs, palms, bbq's, shade and a small walk to the fabulous beach. Owners extremely helpful and friendly. Absolutely ideal setting for a relaxing holiday.

Went there for a few days with my girlfriend. The owner was real helpful and provided us chairs and an umbrella to go to the beach. The place has 2 beautiful pools. A real retro feel!! Very close to the beach and all the beachside bars and restaurants.

After 3 years we returned to the Amber Tides Motel because of a very good expiriece. Meanwhile this Motel has a new GM who understands even better how to host and to maintain the whole property. Pool are is like a pardise in the middle of the big hotels and buildings. Motel is well located, only a 2 minutes walk to the beach. Room was very clean. A/C is quite loud and placed right next to the bed but as they have a Fan you don't need the A/C on at night. There is also the possibiliy for BBQ al... Read more

The room was cozy and clean and at a reasonable price. It was our first time visiting Clearwater and it was nice and glad we stayed at this location would definitely recommend them to friends and family and would stay again in the future. It was very close to the beaches and close to other places to go we loved our stay there.

Back again a year later and it's all good at Amber Tides. Same 50's/60's style. This time we had a suite apartment with 2 queen beds in 1 bedroom, a large kitchen & living area + bathroom with shower & toilet. The only things missing now are new mattresses, the current ones are a bit tired, but I'm sure Ulli will be replacing them soon.

We stayed for the Fourth of July. Michelle was nice enough to let us book one night since we were passing through to Crystal River. We enjoyed the pool again and went to watch the fireworks. I love that this place is a close walk to the beach and close to the pier. I do wish the mattresses would be replaced but we still slept comfortably.

My family and I were here July 4. There is a boat dock literally 50 feet from the door with a perfect view of fireworks from the causeway. There are two pools, one is perfect for young kids because it is a little smaller. Both warm!!!! There are unlimited covered tables in the courtyard each with grill and utensils for guests, all poolside. Every room is poolside. There was even a kitchen in our room. Stop at Walgreens just up the street for all the groceries you need. It would be a long walk to... Read more

My partner and I stayed here last week. Whilst the room rate was ok the buildings in need of repair. It's very tired looking and you can see lots of bodge job repairs all over the place. Rooms were dingy and dark and not particularly clean. Bathroom had numerous cracked tiles and was grubby. One thing that was lovely was all the palm trees and greenery around the pool area which gave plenty of shade which was welcome in the heat. My biggest gripe that spoilt it all was the amount of smokers ther... Read more

This motel was very clean and comfortable. It was relaxing and private due to the beautiful landscaping. The manager was extremely helpful and always there. The decor was 60s style, but that was fine with me. Felt like home!!!!!

We found this little motel through trip advisor and had a lovely 3 days there. It has less than 20 rooms. The 2 that we used were large, clean and well appointed. The owner and his partner were very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent, being only 2 minutes walk from the beach, shops and eateries with free allocated parking outside which saves you at least 20 dollars a day parking charges,. There are 2 lovely pools and if like me you are fair skinned and burn easily there is plenty of sha... Read more

Stayed here for the third time in the last two years over the fourth of July weekend. We had two adjoining rooms for my wife, my sister and I. Clean, quiet and close to all Clearwater beach has to offer! The owners Ulli and Michelle are very helpful and courteous. (Thanks for letting me borrow the fan Ulli! ) The pools are clean and all the foliage on the grounds provide much welcomed shade. All in all Amber Tides is a wonderful quiet oasis amongst all the Clearwater madness. We'll definitely be... Read more

My family spent an overnight at Amber Tides. We rented 2 adjacent non-smoking rooms. Both rooms were very clean and spacious and included a full kitchen/dining area equipped with cooking and dishware. We spent the day in Clearwater Beach following our 4-day Disney trip. Our kids commented that the rooms were actually bigger and more comfortable than the Disney All-Star hotel that we came from. They also have several ready gas grills on the patio. We grilled burgers and brats and enjoyed th... Read more

This was our 2nd visit to Amber Tides. A great place. Short walk to beach for sunset and restaurants. We stayed here in early July '16 from Monday to Saturday. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Palm trees and other plants around pool area make it beautiful. Older buildings ,but kept up nice.

I booked a one bedroom apartment for my mom and I and we were quite pleasantly surprised! The room was quite spacious and the 2 double beds were very comfortable! Slept like babies! The location is fantastic. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach with on-site parking. Just grab your stuff and head to the beach! The only downside, the motel is quite outdated and the showerhead is very low.

a small, privately-owned hotel which, especially for the price, offers a great location and much more than a hotel room. the little suites are delightful, with a lot of care going into a small, cute space. i've been going there for several years and it's always lovely. mara

Beautiful place with a tucked away feel and the beach right around the corner. Very convenient with close parking and easy access. Love the ma and pa feel... The couple who run it and I assume own it are very nice and accommodating and work very hard for their guest. Somewhat cabana like with private pools, small trails and little nooks and a fire pit also. Great for groups. Perfect getaway with personal attention! Will be back! Thank you
