"Our stay was awesome. The suite was very spacious. The pool was beautiful, clean and well maintained. This was less than a 10 minute drive to Disney World Magic Kingdom as well. The two things I would change are that the free wi-fi did not work, it was too slow. We could see it but not use it. My iphone would time out before it could connect to anything. Also, the sofa bed would be very uncomfortable for an adult. Luckily we had two smaller kids use it so it wasn't so bad for them, but it would be horrible for an adult.
Also, don't expect any hot food at the continental breakfast other than toast. It was pretty much a couple of juices, coffee, milk, cereal, pastries, muffins and toast. I think there were a few apples and bananas available as well. So no eggs, bacon or waffles, but you can't really complain about a free breakfast; I'm just saying I've seen better."

"Honestly, I don't understand some of the negative reviews. One guy opined 'pool was okay'. What does he expect? It's a pool. It's not an amusement park. Another complained about the breakfast. It's free. It's Continental. It's supposed to be basic. Go across the street to Golden Coral if you want a big breakfast. 'all in all' we love the suites in this hotel. GREAT value for the $. I found the staff to be VERY courteous and helpful from beginning to end. The breakfast had plenty of food, we ate, we went to amusement parks (which is why we went to Orlando). The rooms were clean, we asked for extra towels and received them promtly. The beds are VERY comfortable. our friends wanted to rent individual rooms for $55/night at Holiday Inn. For $130, we got a nice suite with BIG bathrooms, kitchenette (which we use), continental breakfast, and a nice pool. The only negative I have is the $15 resort fee, but I've been to other hotels that do the same thing. I like that I saw security in the parking lot so I justified the $15 partly covering that. The WiFi worked for us. And we drank the water provided."

"Cleaning: Way below acceptable levels, we saw the staff throwing the room dust on the corridor, and it was not timely cleaned. I saw one plastic piece for three days in front of one room. Three requests for cleanin at the front desk for a 11 days stay, and no satisfactory reaction...absurd.
Internet: Rather not comment, impossible to rate something that does not exist. So I suggest to delete it from the available items in the room.
Front desk: Seems that they are doing the greatest favour ever to you.
Breakfast: To have it at the room a pre-made box was provided with very limited options, not nice."

Everything was perfect, the kitchen in our suite had everything we needed and had beautiful pool view room with balcony. "I should say first off that this place is clearly undergoing some adjustments as its recently changed hands. The two bedroom suite was gorgeous: very clean, extremely comfortable with great, firm mattresses, and a very functional kitchen.
Other than that, everything seemed to be a work in progress. Breakfast was highly variable one day to another, bar/restaurant service was slow (and we go the feeling not because of the wait staff].
The pool was just okay. The hot tub was situated in the midst of a bed of mulch, so it always had large amounts of mulch floating in it, and the jets were never on. All in all it looked pretty disgusting.
Melia served its purpose to us: a clean suite to come home to after active days in Orlando's attractions. But to us it wouldn't be worth it to stay there again. Equally nice rooms can be had elsewhere for cheaper, and there's nothing else that makes this place stand out."

"I decided to take my family to Orlando for March break this year and we found this hotel. I travel quite often for work so I spend a lot of time in hotels all accross North America and I must say The Melia at Celebration was the worst hotel experience I have had to date. I will list my concerns in point form.
1) Front desk - The associates at the front desk were not very pleasent and made it seem like it was an inconvience anytime you approached them with a question.
2)$15.00 Resort Fee - We were charged a daily fee of $15 which I was told by the front desk was to cover the 2 water bottles they provided us in our rooms daily as well to cover their shuttle service which was useless anyways.
3)Housekeeping - I could not believe the poor level of housekeeping service this hotel provided. House keeping did not enter our rooms to clean up until 4:30pm daily. The Melia's defenition of housekeeping is to supply you with new towels.... and make your bed. During our 6 night stay at this hotel our tables and counters were not wiped or cleaned. The floor was not vacuumed once. Day's 2 and 3 they did not empty our garbage. 2 days in a row they did not provide us with water bottles which is not something I would normally complain about but when I'm being charged a $15 fee for them I'm going to make a big deal about it. They put our dirty dishes were put in the dishwasher without detergent so they would come out dirty. The washroom was not cleaned or wiped at all. Again all that was done by house keeping was providing us with new towels.
Shuttle Service- The shuttle service at this hotel was sub par. The same shuttle that picks up passengers for this hotel also picks up people at 3 other hotels. It would take us 45 minutes to get to Disney world and 45 minutes to get back. One night the shuttle wasn't even big enough to pick up all the passengers from Disney so a number of familiies had to wait 3 more hours for the next shuttle. I was taken by the shuttle to the Publix store and when I called for a pick up to get back to te hotel the shuttle didn't show, I waited 20 minutes then decided to walk back to the hotel which took me 45 minutes. Terrible service.
Continental Breakfast - The associates providing the breakfast were extremely friendly. The food however tasted stale. There was never enough room for people to sit comfortably and enjoy their breakfast. My family had to stand around every single morning until a table opened up then rush to get to it before anyone else did in order eat our breakfast.
Wifi Internet Access- I don't know why this hotel states that they have internet access. It doesn't work, can not connect. Useless.
Overall Cleanliess- Very poor.
I am not normally one to leave poor reviews however in this case I only think it's fair to let people know what they are paying for, especially with all the other hotel options out there. After coming back from Orlando I have been reading other reviews going back to as early as 2011. Every negative review I read the reply back from the Hotel Guest Manager stating that he/she will address and fix the concerns but clearly these concerns are not taken seriously as I have recieved the same poor service. In conclusion, the Meila Hotel needs to start taking their customers feedback seriously and start making changes. Until then I will not go back nor would I recommend this hotel to anybody else."

"We arrived after 9 pm after working all day and a long drive only to find out that our 2 bedroom suite would not be available. They offered to move us to the Vistana or let us have 2 one bedroom suites. It was late and we were tired so we took the suites. They did not have adjoining suites and our family was split up. In their defense they waived the resort fee and gave us a $25 voucher.
The room was clean but average, food was ok, not great. Internet was slow. Entrance was not lit so we had trouble finding it at night. Staff was friendly but not overly efficient.
I would definitely not pay full price or resort fees for this place. I would only recommend it if you get a good break on the price ( be careful of the resort fees)."

"As you can see we were not happy with this Hotel experience at all. There is much better value for the money in Orlando area. The quality of the rooms were very basic along with the furnishings. When we got there they had no reservation for us and told us it would be a higher amount. I insisted I had booked it through an agency and she phoned some one who 'found' our booking, I have never had that happen before. The room was, especially the kitchen ill equipped, two spoons, two forks and knives. Two small cooffee cups and 4 glasses, you get the gist, it was like if you used something you had to wash it before you ate the next thing. Housekeeping was non-existent except for a towel change and taking the garbage. Counter were not cleaned, bathrooms not touched, bed not made, dishes left in dishwasher not started. I started the dishwasher when we came back so we could have something to eat and it leaked water all over the floor, I guess the door seal was not working. One of things right away that also made me mad is that there was a $15. per day resort fee, this should not be allowed as when you are comparison shopping this would have made a difference in where I stayed as I could have stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Suites for $22 more. I suggest Bookit makes sure all fees are included or disclosed. One othe thing Internet was slow. No I won't be back."

"We arrived on Sunday around 2PM. They were very accommodating in trying to check us in early. Check in time is 4PM. We were exhausted from our overnight flight and was appreciative in being able to check in early. However, once we settled in and unpacked we discovered that the towels that was provided were dirty, the sliding door lock did not work and the light fixture in the living room was out. They had offered to move us before we discovered this due to a room mix-up. In hindsight maybe we should have packed up our stuff and take their offer to move to another room. Despite all of that, the suite was comfortable and the beds were clean. The staff at Melia are wonderful and friendly. We needed to go grocery shopping and someone was able to drive us with their company car. A service they offer for their customers. He also offered to bring our case of water to our room, which was great client service. Another gentleman drove us to the town of Celebration and picked us up. He was very informative and accommodating. Overall the staff was great and they would be one of the reason that I would actually consider staying there again. My only real complaint is that housekeeping did not clean the bathroom floor other than that it was a nice home away from home place to stay. We stayed there for 7 nights."

"Positive things: 1) The suite was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. 2) The staff was kind and friendly 3) The location excellent, very close to the parks and downtown Disney.
Negative things: 1) We arrived at 2 a.m. and had troubles finding the entrance beacuse it was poorly iluminated, the sign with small letters. 2) If you use a GPS device, the hotel appears under the name 'MONALISA Suites' and not Melia Orlando Suites. This small detail made us difficult to find the hotel. 3) We arrived at 2 a.m., with a boy and a baby. No one helped us with our baggage until we cheked in. 3) Breakfast time was the worst experience. Long endless lines to get a bowl of cereal and bread. Even though breakfast was until 10:30 a.m., by 10 a.m. there was no milk for cereal, took long time to get help. The dining place was crowded, almost no room to have everyone seated. The staff was clearly not prepared to manage so many guest."

"We arrived on a Sunday evening. Check in went smoothly and we found our room easily. The hotel has 5 stories in two separate, semi circular buildings. The check in desk and restaurant are in a third separate round building between the two wings. The pool is also round and located in the center area between the buildings! Check out google maps to see how interesting the architecture is! I found the motel to be very attractive and upscale without being intimidating. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Several times, when I called for additional blankets and other items, service was prompt and courteous. The rooms were clean with minor wear and tear. I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It had two good sized bedrooms, one with an on suite, a kitchen, dining area and living room. There were nice size flat screen televisions in each bedroom and the living area (which included a hide a bed couch). There was no DVD player. The bedrooms had clock radios with iphone docks and king size beds. The furnishings and decorating was modern and high end. Beds had down comforters and both down and non-down pillows. The kitchens were fairly well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and silverware. There is a full size frig, microwave, stove top and small dishwasher. No oven so no baking on your vacation! Two small bottles of water were left each day. Each room had a nice balcony with two chairs and a small table. There is a small continental breakfast included with your room. It is served from 7 to 10:30 daily. It includes breakfast breads (tiny croissant, muffin and fruit pastry), fruit juice (5 types) and coffee. You go to the second floor of the round office building to get it. You can either eat it there or, do like I did, and get it to go back to the comfort of your room. Be aware that they will try and up sell you to other breakfast items but these are not included in the free breakfast. Don't forget to grab your free USA Today newspaper. The pool is great! It is a circular, infinity edged pool with lush plantings and ample seating. Towels are provided pool side. There is a hot tub. There is a pool side bar though waiters do not prowl the pool side asking for orders. I personally like this. If I want something I don't mind walking a few feet to get it. Though used, the pool didn't seem over crowded even at peak use times. Housekeeping was a bit hit or miss. We stayed 7 nights and had a range from excellent to barely touched. On two days the beds were not touched but then on one day the room was thoroughly clean and vacuumed. They have two levels of room cleaning available. Included in the room price is clean towels, bed making and surface cleaning daily. If you want a thorough daily cleaning you must pay an additional fee. We did not spring for the extra service so we kinda took what we got. Even on the worst housecleaning day it was tolerable. The only problems we had with the room was the lack of counter space in the bathrooms and the mediocre lighting. These were small inconveniences and, overall, it was a very enjoyable visit at the Melia. The location in relation to Disney World was stellar. You simply drove to the Bronson Hwy road and turned left. In a couple miles you are at the Magic Kingdom! I would recommend it to friends and will stay there again on future visits."

"While I was expecting a 5 star hotel experience, this kinda fell short. It was ok. When I checked in I expected someone to help with the bags and I had to ask. The pool was nice but there was no service around the pool. The 15 dollar resort fee is ridiculous since the only thing you receive is 2 bottles of nestle water. When I got to the room the fridge was dirty and housekeeping needed to come up and clean it. I requested 2 cribs on book it and they never provided it. I had to request 2 cribs about three times because they were so slow. While it could have been worse, I don't think I would stay here again."

"Omg! I will start by saying that this is beyond of what i expected!
When you arrive you get greet by almost everyone, From the front desk if you have any problem they will take care of it, The housekeeper girls are awesome even with all the work they have cleaning checkouts.
We went for family reunion 15 people... 3 bedrooms, mine bedroom was the best, it has two porch, one in the living room the other in the master bedroom, the rooms are so big each one has a flat screen TV. The bathrooms, well i wish my bathrooms was like them. then you have the pool in which i enjoy a lot with the family ( close at 11pm) after that its quite time for everyone, there is a smoking area around the pool, and a laundry room with a TV.
my advise is if you are going in group tell your travel agent to make sure they put a special note to put the room together.( they did with us)
read your travel agent paper it does say you will be charge almost 17 dollars a day to cover amnemities , like wireless, shuttles, laundry etc!
Plus you get pre charge 50.85 for deposit just in case to cover your tab, if you dont use the tab that money get credited to your amnemities charges.
Used the complementary continental breakfast to go they give you muffins, croissants and other pastry and fruit juice, my kids enjoyed it in the room for snacks, we cooked our dinners thou...(.cheaper)
If you don't want housekeeper to bother you ask for the do not disturbed sign....
this girls will clean your room everyday( no linen change thou but will do your beds and your dishes if any) Overall we are already planning our next vacation at Melia again.....just give it a try!

"I highly doubt that I'd stay here again upon my return to Orlando. The staff was the absolute best part as far as customer service. However the cleaning of the rooms needs definite improvement. I stayed here for four days and my room wasn't cleaned once. Dirty towels were left in the room from the previous night. The beds weren't made up. The tub wasn't cleaned out. There was no tissue in either bathroom. I had to call down stairs two days in a row to have fresh towels sent to the rooms. Not to mention the large hole in the wall in the dining area. This by far isn't what I expect when I'm on vacation in a four star hotel. I'm extremely disappointed."

"The hotel is nice as well as the suite. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite and neither of the restrooms had a wash cloth and our bedroom tv remote wasn't working. It took us twice to us them for these items and eventually we got them. The staff are friendly. The free shuttle is ok, but they need to add a later time of when they come back to the hotel because if the shuttle leaves at 11pm, then you must leave the park at least an hour before to make it on time otherwise the shuttle will leave you. This also means that you cannot stay at some parks until they close. What is listed on this website regarding free newspaper, free water bottles and free Wi-Fi they are not free as we had to pay $15/day to have this service. 'Free' shouldn't be listed."

"My one bedroom suite was nice and clean. The free laundry services was an added bonus specially when you are staying with small kids and for 5-7 days. However the sofa bed in the living room needs to be looked into. The mattress was not very comfortable to sleep. The staff was friendly. The food of the menu was a bit over priced. Overall a nice experience."

"We had a 2 bedroom suite! It was clean, but no jetted tub, no washer & dryer in the room. The balcony was not screened, nor did they have screens on the sliding glass paio door, so no fresh air.The room did not come with daily housekeeping., if you wanted that it was $15 a day extra. We asked for a pool view room, but was told it was $20 a day extra. The restuarant was over priced, and the hostess was rude. I complained to the manager on duty and he should no real concern, nor did he seem surprised. There are better options in the area aorund the same price.."

"Overall my family's stay at the Hotel was a great experience. The only thing lacking was the process and muffin selections for the continental breakfast. You had to wait in line for the staff to package the juice/coffee and patries for you, which was time consuming. Also, there were only patries and muffins and NO selection of bagels. As for the breakfast you could order, the only selections for breakfast meat was pork products. An option of turkey bacon and/or turkey sausage would have been preferred. Needless to say, my family and I never ate at the hotel for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff was very nice and the pool maintenance was excellent! I would return to the hotel because its a great location, extremely clean and well maintained."

We used the 'free' laundry services, which was completely unexpected. The health club facilites at the hospital were amazing!!! When we return to the Orlando area we will definitely stay again."

MY DUVET WAS VISIBLY STAINED AND THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF TOOK A LONG TIME TO RESPOND TO MY REQUEST FOR A CHANGE. IF THEY CAN IMPROVE ON THE CLEANLINESS AND GIVE A TIMELY RESPONSE TO CUSTOMERS COMPLAINTS THIS HOTEL WILL BE EXCELLENT FOR FAMILIES ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH PREFERENCE FOR SELF-CATERING AND LARGE SPACE. Recent Trip from Michigan
"We arrived at the hotel late at night (for a 4 night stay) and checked into our 1 bedroom suite. The overall feel of the room was dirty and definitely not what we expected when we booked our trip. The walls were scuffed, the carpet was dirty and stained, the wood furniture was chipped, and when we pulled out the sofa bed for our daughter to go to sleep, a bottle cap flew out of the 'clean' bed! We were grossed out by all of this and didn't want to sleep there. When my daughter got into the sofa bed, she said the springs were poking into her and it was too uncomfortable to sleep in. I went down to the front desk, and told them the place was too dirty for us and asked if we could we please change rooms. The gentleman offered to bring us a rollaway bed for the night because they were completely booked. Then when he came to our room, he offered to move us to a 2 bedroom suite. The new room was wonderful! The king beds were so comfortable, and everything was clean. I don't know what the rest of the 1 bedrooms look like, but ours was awful. I would not have paid for a 2 bedroom suite though. We enjoyed the morning pastries, juice and coffee, and ate them in our room with eggs and yogurt we bought from the nearby grocery store. I agree with the previous post that the $15/day fee is ridiculous for 2 bottles of water and the pastries. It also covered the shuttle to the parks, which we only used 1 day. The positives were the beautiful pool, comfy linens and king beds, complimentary washer and dryer, and friendly staff. If a 2 bedroom suite is in your budget, then I'd recommend it. If not, there are plenty of nice places to stay in the area."

"Everything went very well. It was clean, location was good because it was not on the main road, and the staff was very friendly. The only thing that bothered me, and I know this happens everywhere, especially On-Line, is when advertizements list things as 'FREE, FREE, FREE' in big bold letters. Then you get to the hotel and you are told there is a $15 per day Resort Fee (see fine print), and you ask what that's for, and they rattle off all the stuff that was listed as 'FREE, FREE, FREE'. I wish that they would just add the $15 to the room price, and list these things as amenities."

There was no place to wait for shuttles or a taxi. Didn't see any pop machines or ice machines anywhere, either. Pool and hot tube were beautiful! The extra $15.00 a day wasn't worth two bottles of water."

"The first thing they charge you a $15/night 'HOTEL SERVICE FEE' which apparently covers a shuttle and other services; even though this is advertised in the services provided. THey should've told you that it was an extra $15 plus tax. NICKEL & DIMMING you. Very slick and deceptive!!!! I went to check out and get my $25 food and beverage credit and they acted like they never had anyone with this before. They didn't know how to credit it back to me and they still haven't resolved it. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the service was SUPER slow, but the food was good for the price. The rooms were wonderful. Pretty clean. Spacious. It was about $15 - $20 to rent a movie for the night (off of the TV). It was a pretty nice hotel for the money, but they sure do try every slick way to trick you out of money. OH, also...the 'Continental Breakfast' that is a $10 value was either small muffins, croissant or some other small pastry & a drink...these were brought to your table in a little bowl...with jelly and butter. Nothing healthy to choose."

"I like the hotel, I just did respect the fact that after I arrived to the hotel, I walked into the lobby to get my hotel key, the manager at the hotel decided to change my reservations and kick us out of the hotel to another hotel. After I and my children had cried stated that we had a long flight and we just want to got to our hotel room. The desk staff called the manager and he then we were allowed to stay, with an upgrade. Also, I didn't like how they charge some fees at the end, when I asked them why, and what it is for they said its for water, newspaper(which I never received), shuttles, wifi. They offer it free but once you get there then its, considered to be a resort fee."

"5 night stay from the 28th December, 2012. Staff at desk very friendly. Was able to get car to the local grocery store. Room was large and kitchen Ok for quick meals. (Who wants to cook too much when on holidays) The use of the laundry was great as we were travelling for 3 weeks so left with all clean clothes for the next adventure back in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and back home to Australia. Had a nice meal the first night at restaurant. Breakfast was OK for a continental style only the girl guarding the 'door' lacked in customer service and manners.Even trying to take breakfast to our room to avoid her was a challenge. House keeping changed on the last two days of our stay. The first time, no water, no bins emptied, no coffee for machine to name a few, but we managed. Second time, bed not made, no toilet paper, no dishwasher powder. When I saw female cleaner in hallway to get what was needed she did not speak English so was a challenge to communicate :-)
The Melia does not CLEAN your room. Only a quick once over unless you pay more. After 5 days and only 2 of us there the floors, bathroom, kitchen needed a clean. There are not tea towels or sponge to clean anything up your self in the kitchen. When we did purchase a dish cloth to clean up, it was thrown out.. Our stay was pleasant. Our expectation were not high. As we did not have a car for transport, I would probably stay somewhere more central if I came back. Melia only took us to the Publix grocery store or shuttles to Disneyworld/Universal.
Room Tip: Stayed on the ground floor. Was OK. Followed reviews so knew what to expect, so no real suprises..."

"We stayed in Orlando with our 4 kids for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - particularly given the price we paid per night. We found our room very spacious and the beds EXTREMELY comfortable. The sleeper sofa was not but I don't think anyone expects that. The food was not bad (we really did love the croissants and muffins that are complimentary) and the staff could not have been more pleasant and accomodating. The pool area was just very nice and quiet - everything was also very clean. I do agree that the pool towels could stand an upgrade but not a big deal. The furniture in the rooms was quite worn but I think that is probably because it was pretty cheap furniture but again - not a big deal to us. Our kids were firm that when we ever go back to Orlando we have to stay here again and we very likely will. I would recommend staying here for the great value, the comfy beds, and the nice, quiet pool area. The location related to the disney parks was also awesome."

"The staff is the best, always helpful and nice. The rooms are big and the bed is like heaven. The rooms are very clean and the food is excellent, my only complaint would have to be the shuttle service, since it is a third party service I cannot fault the hotel but the they pick up others at neighboring hotels you end up not getting a seat or not getting on the bus at all. Not a great experience during a vacation! But other than that, I would definitely return in a heartbeat."

"We stayed at the Melia for 4 nights. The staff was always courteous and helpful. The suites were spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping came in daily to make beds , tidy up bathrooms and leave our two complimentary bottles of water. We had a room overlooking the pool and that was very nice. We got caught in a downpour one day while out so the free washers/dryers on the first floor came in handy! If I had one thing to change about the Melia it would be to improve on their complimentary breakfast. They want you to sit at the tables to be served instead of having a self serve buffet. If you want something to go you must ask a server and they go to the kitchen to get it. even coffee. The complimentary breakfast consists of danishes and muffins, coffee and juice. This was ok however because we had gone to the grocery store and bought breakfast food to cook in our suite. We would reccommend the Melia."

"Hotel is about 30 minutes from Airport via the Toll Road. Bring plenty of change (dollars & quarters) to pay for the many tolls. Entrance to hotel is a little confusing. You can see the hotel from the main road, but need to turn down several isolated streets to get there. (Hint: When you get to the dead-end turn right, and you’ll need to pass several other entrances before seeing the hotel's very small entrance sign.) At first, the hotel entrance and lobby appear small and a little odd with all the small floral wall sconces - but after a while, it'll seem cozy and inviting. At check-in, the staff could have been more attentive, we had to wait before being acknowledged and serviced. You'll be reminded of the movie The Shining, when walking down the long corridors with blank walls and pastel-colored doors to your room. The suite was VERY clean--almost sterile, with large rooms, two TVs, a big balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. Some color or more paintings on the walls could add a little more warmth to the decor. Our windows faced the highway, but the room was well soundproofed and we enjoyed the Disney fireworks each night. Many say the beds were comfortable, however, we found the mattress to be too firm. If you have a bad back you might prefer more cushioning. The bedspread, however, was soft and luxurious. Though they don’t tell you, towels are changed out daily, however, sheets and bedding are only changed every couple of days. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal or hot breakfast, which we complimented with the FREE continental breakfast of coffee, OJ and sweet rolls. There are many restaurants on the main road, but you will definitely need a car. Parking is free at the front of the complex, but you will need to walk around to the sides and back hotel entrances using a security pass card or inside through the lobby and past the pool area to reach the elevators. The FREE shuttle to the parks was very convenient and ran right on time - be late and you will miss it. Depending on the season, shuttles run on a specific timetable to and from the parks. Hotel is about 15 miles from Disney. Allow plenty of time at Disney to get back to where the shuttle drops off and boards at Epcot. You might have to miss the fireworks on weekdays. The heated pool is beautiful and the small restaurant and bar are convenient (but not great) with a friendly wait staff. Except for the too-firm mattress, we were very pleased with our stay and felt the hotel was a good value. (Maybe they could stock a few memory foam mattress pads for those of us who need a little more cushioning??!) Great amenities were: Full kitchen, 2 TVs, and FREE secure laundry room (bring detergent). Enjoy!"

"Don't let the price of room fool you. The hotel will charge you the amount of $16.95 per day, which they call a resort fee. However, it is stated on the website that there is 'free' bottled water, wifi, shuttle to Disney. Additionally expect that the shuttle ride is to the EPCOT central transportation only; you must get off and find transportation to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, etc.. And there will be not free return to hotel for a mid-day rest. The schedule is not frequent, evry 2 hours or so. If you ask for special pickup or dropoff, expect them to tell you that there is a taxi phone number and that the service is not run by the hotel. Swimming pool usage is standard in hotels and this is not a special pool."

"We have only good things to say about the Melia. We were very comfortable with our one bedroom suite and enjoyed the pool. We had our own car so it was a convenient location to the Disney attractions as well as restaurants. It was quiet and the staff was very helpful. It was a bit warm at times in the bedroom area, even after adjusting the thermostate. It is possible it would revert to a programmed temperature. Other than that, we would recommend the Melia."

Excellent food and good staffs. A few things need to be improved;
Too long to be served in the cafeteria, Cleanliness 3/5 for 1 - 5 scale,
Difficult to find the entrance from the street(Needs visible signs?) and
better information around the theme parks. But we enjoyed staying at

"This Hotel was more then we ever expected it to be and then some! The staff friendly and helpful and even let us check in early with a upgrade upon arrival. It was our first time traveling with our son who is 18 months old and the room was perfect for traveling with a child. The rooms were very clean with a modern decor and very spacious.
