The service at this hotel was one of the best I have experienced, especially the servers in the main restaurant. The facilities employees were also extremely helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel for your business events or vacation.

I liked the Westin a lot. I stayed here with a group as part of a tour of Florida from the UK and this was the highlight hotel of the trip. Despite being an enormous hotel they managed to make me feel welcome. Although the room I stayed in (a traditional room 511) had an interconnecting door (which I do not like in hotels but apparently they all have them) the bedroom has its own door so even if there is next door noise you can shield from it. I did not hear any. The room was large, felt upmarke... Read more

Located on the southwest tip of Cape Coral, The Westin is the perfect hideaway for a luxury stay right in the middle of the mangrove forest and on the edge of the river. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the ideal spot. Even though the main road route on and off this part of Cape Coral is only a five minute drive away, the hotel location feels remote, which makes everything so much more laidback than this part of Florida already is. The rooms are all of a decent size and well equi... Read more

My husband and I booked a two-bedroom suite and were very pleased with our choice. While large for two people it had all the amenities of home plus an amazing view. Both bedrooms plus the living room led to a large screened balcony (with ceiling fans) with a view of the river/marina/gulf. All the staff was friendly and courteous and ensured a pleasant stay. We frequented the main pool and my one small complaint would be that there was only one server on duty during our stay...most times it w... Read more

Florida is certainly not my first choice for Memorial day weekend, but it wasn't much of an option due to some family circumstances. Two bedroom full kitchen suite came in at under $400 a night. There's a great lanai included. We were able to do breakfast and lunch in the room and save some money. The on property food is pretty good (not excellent!) and prices in resort are unexpectedly reasonable. A trip to Sanibel was easy from here. The pool is nice - marina view. A free boat shuttle w... We stayed here as part of a tour. What a treat! Great rooms with views from the comfortable balcony. Excellent service, an interesting marina to roam around, live music in the evenings whilst watching the sunset, great food - a brilliant place to relax. The sunset dolphin watching boat trip was a relaxed, interesting way to spend some time with very genial hosts pointing out the wildlife and things of interest. We will definitely return as independent travellers when we're next in Florida.

This place is amazing.. The beds are the best I've ever slept on.. The staff is great the location is great and well worth the visit. First off, when you enter the resort, it smells wonderful, the aroma from the spa waifs throughout the lobby.I am sensitive to scents, but this was not offensive, just peaceful and calming. My friend and I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor. The suite was immaculate and well appointed. The beds were sooooo comfortable. Nice patio too. The 3rd floor offers a nice view of the marina, without having to be so high up on the building. If you take the elevator to the top you'll see a great ... Read more

Stayed here for a long weekend, wonderful staff and very nice and quiet location with excellent views and amenities. The water taxi to the beach is a must do and the captains are all friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The nauti mermaid is an excellent choice for happy hour and has a great staff. One tip, walk around the marina in the mid afternoon, we saw several dolphins swimming within 10 feet of us. Had a wonderful stay and will definetly be back.

I have stayed in many a Weston and they are just lovely. But when I decided to travel with my kitty, they said only dogs are ok. Cats are cleaner and quiet so what's the problem there. Guess I will not be using them anymore. The hotels themselves are great I just want everyone to know, no cats.

Have stayed here twice, both times in the summer (low season). The property is very nice and the amenities are beautiful. The poolside bar is very cool and the service is great. The room I was in had a wonderful view of the water and had everything I needed and more. The hotels proximity to a couple of nearby restaurants is a bonus.

The hotel is beautiful, gorgeous views. Appreciate the quiet atmosphere. Band on the patio, however they packed up early, we had left for dinner and came back around 9:30 and everyone was gone. The breakfast buffet was nice, a little pricey though. Lovely patio overlooking the bay, great place to have your morning coffee.

This place met all our basic needs. We were four friends celebrating 40 years of friendship. We shared. Two bedroom suite and the suite was beyond gorgeous and huge. We had enough room for a few more people. Plus a full living room and kitchen and huge screened in patio overlooking the bay. The place is in the middle of a lonely marina resort but there is not much outside the resort. Ft Myers is about 30 min away. Also there is no beach but the pool are was fine for our needs. We went here for our 29th anniversary. When we checked in, we were asked it we wanted to upgrade to a suite for $40 more a night. Best decision we made! It was so spacious! We were on the 14th floor and the birds in the mangroves were beautiful! We bought food for breakfast and sat out on our balcony each morning. We even watched the sunrise--the first time in our 29 years together! We also loved the variety of pools that we could use. When the main pool got busy, we just went over to the o... Read more

Simply, I was disappointed with this Westin. Location is great and beautiful view. However over half of the staff seemed like they did not want to be there and were not overly friendly. The pool did not have wait staff the entire time we were there. The suites do not offer a pullout bed so don't get a king if you have kids. (Who would think that). Even if you would expect a suite to sleep 4 you have to request a roller bed at $25 a night. They offer promotions to stay such as $100 food and ... Read more

We figured that being a Westin resort we were going to get the same treatment that we would at any other Westin that was near a beach or water. We have stayed at several other Westin properties, I am a SPG gold member, that have activities at the pool, waiters at the pool, music at the pool, umbrellas at the pool, etc. This resort had none of the above mentioned. We stayed in a two bedroom condo which was huge! Large master bedroom, tons of closet space and large bathroom. Enjoyed the screened in balcony, only wish would be to be on upper floor. We were on 3rd floor and pool area was very noisy when sitting on balcony. Pool areas were nice and we enjoyed riding the bikes that were free to use. We ventured to Sanibel Island which was about 45 mins away but was not really a bad drive. I would recommend the resort to friends.

I can't say thank you enough to the management team here at the Westin! We always start off with our favorite Front Desk Agent, Remy. He is always so welcoming and pleasant. This was the first time we encountered Sean at the pool bar. Sean is an asset to this property. My husband wanted a diet juice, however the hotel did not carry the desired product. I would recommend this property and hope that when Marriott take over the implement changes to correct several issues. First they were understaffed. Usually ha only one person on the front desk. Next when e returned our car to the valet in the afternoon there was usually no valet or bellman. Those that did work bell or valet were awesome! The lounge was often understaffed. Our waitress, Amelia H, couldn't have been any nicer. She was cheerful and attentive, a wonderful addition to a great experience. The only thing that got us to leave was the impending thunderstorms.
