The Hampton Inn in Bradenton is in the perfect location. A short stroll to Old Main Street's bars and restaurants. The hotel is very clean. The staff is friendly and professional. I've just finished my Spring visit to Bradenton and have already booked the Hampton In for my Fall trip. I highly recommend this hotel!

I chaired the planning committee of a conference held in mid-May at the Hampton Inn & Suites Bradenton Downtown Historic District. Everyone from the General Managers to the Housekeeping Staff did a phenomenal job and seemed genuinely happy to be hosting our group's Assemblage. Kelly Ann D. was my contact for the planning process and she was very knowledgeable, helpful, always cheerful, and was a saint to put up with my many calls and emails! Loved it - and be sure to eat at Pier 22 restaurant at the Marina two blocks away at the end of the street. Old hotel era 1926 Hotel at River Manatee tastefully updated with tall ceilings and huge elongated windowes . We stayed in a King Suite- twice the space as usual hotels. Well worth the modest upgrade.

Forget the beaches, this is a 4- star hotel on US 41 Bus, in downtown Bradenton. A block from the Manatee River and bridge, a block from the Florida Museum, and a block from Pier 22 Marina and restaurant, it was perfectly situated for my visit. I couldn't have been more pleased - from check-in (Christie was excellent and very helpful), to room comfort, to pricing, to ease of free parking, to the fab breakfast in the morning, I recommend this Hampton. I recently stayed one night at the Hampton Inn in Bradenton, Florida for a work related trip. The hotel is a renovated historic hotel and offers the standard Hampton amenities, including the free breakfast and a cookie at check-in. Breakfast was light on the fresh fruit (no bananas, in fact I only recall oranges and a mixed fruit salad). Hilton Diamond status was recognized even before I arrived when they called me to see if there was anything they could do upon arrival. I did have an extra quest with me and needed to change to a double instead of a king room. Not only did they do that, but they also allowed me to switch back to a king room the next morning. Yes, the new room was ready for me with the keys at the FD when I sent down at 9am. The GM should be commended! Will go back next time I'm in the area.

I wrote this to the Manager at the Hampton Inn. I wanted to share this. I'd like to congratulate you and your team for a great stay. We were absolutely blown away by the hotel and the services we received. As Diamond members, we have obviously stayed at a great many Hilton properties. Yours was unrecognizable as a Hampton Inn. The service came across as a high end Hilton - actually, better! - with the lone exception of the lack of a restaurant. Lacking a restaurant was not a problem at all, ... Read more

I like Hampton hotels but they're usually pretty average. Not much to say but they're clean. This one is great. It's beautiful inside, a good location within walking distance of restaurants and waterfront dining and my room was very spacious. I had a corner room with a pull out sofa and a nice chair. The bathroom was great with a nice glass shower and a large window to bring in some natural light.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now on business, both times have been a flawless experience. The hotel is in an ancient building but all of the amenities and guest rooms are modern and up to date. The staff has been great and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel doesn't have the most parking you'll ever see but I had no trouble. Typical Hampton Inn breakfast if that's you're thing. I wish there were some more quality dining options nearby, especially for late night, but can't blam... Read more

This is a very nice hotel in an old historical building the has been upgraded with modern rooms. I like the way they have incorporated some of the old features, marble floor and old wood features tied into the new lobby. All the employees that worked there were very helpful and polite. Typical Hampton breakfast but the ladies that worked in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. The room was very large and the king bed very comfortable. We went here just for a one night stay. Soon as we entered the room, we heard a beep every 5 minutes, sounded like the fire detector or something like that. It kept on buzzing the whole stay but was to tired to go ask what it was. After an excellent breakfast (with a lovely lady who gave us beach advice and a map) we checked out. The lady at the desk asked if the stay was pleasant. As soon as I mentioned the beep, she immediately offered to charge NOTHING! What a great service! Gotta love this... Read more

Excellent hotel with a great staff and wonderful location. We held a wedding at the museum next door and the rehearsal dinner on Anna Maria Island. The hotel is located in the center of town and there some many things to do on the weekend. I walked every along the riverfront walk, enjoyed the farmer's market and there is, of course the museum to enjoy! It was a great time!

This little hidden treasure is a very nice and clean hotel located in the heart of the historic District in Bradenton. It's location is very good even to visot the beaches from Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. We had room 722, located at the 7th floor, with bay view. There may be better rooms woth balconies, but oirs was good enough for the 3 of us woth a king size bed and a sofabed.

The hotel has a 20's theme and it's portrayed , but not overwhelming. We stayed on the 4th floor. We found the room to be spacious and bed comfortable. I do wish the pillows were more supportive. Great price for location especially if you are attending an event at Pier 22. Rooms were spotless and I loved having a private balcony overlooking the water. Breakfast staff were super friendly and you could walk to all the bars and restaurants which were only a block away. Only downfall was parking late at night if you go out to the bars. Not every room has a microwave and mini fridge but it can be brought up. I was here for a short trip on business and was ecstatically surprised at how amazing this place looked and the location. There are rooms with balconies and rooms without them. The "accessible rooms" have plenty of space for wheelchair movement and are very well laid out unlike most I have seen.

Some of the rough edges from restoration effort have been smoothed out. Staff helpful and friendly. Handicapped folk needing a ground floor room or walk-in shower cannot be accommodated here, which means we have sadly made our last visit. Several handicapped rooms with excellent grab bars are available, beginning on second floor. More are on higher floors, which is problematic if the fire alarm goes off. Rooms are modern and external facade and inner stairs are historic.

We have stayed here on two separate occasions when visiting family in the area. We stayed in king suite both times and were very pleased with the amount of space in the room. The people were ok, the seating area for breakfast was small, the room was semi clean, somebody threw a plastic cup in the cubby under the TV that's been there for a while did not get cleaned up. Loud noises outside, kids going back and forth, a couple were arguing at the top of their lungs in the early morning. Manager did go out to try and quiet them but it didn't stay quiet long. The staff at this hotel is all smiles, but they are unwilling or unable to accommodate even the simplest request (e.g., feather-free pillows, late checkout). The hotel suffers from a lot of road noise, the pool is tub-sized and in the front parking lot. The breakfast room was a mess, and many food items were not readily available. Given the drawbacks, this hotel is over-priced for the value received.

Plenty of good things to say about this property. First is that its in a great location. More than enough places to walk and explore. The building is pretty cool by itself with a majestic lobby and great rooms. It is definitely not your typical Hampton property which makes it even better.
