Good location but a bit tired looking in my opinion. Our room looked like it hadn't been refurbished for years. Yes it is one of the cheaper places in AMI but that doesn't excuse not spending any money on the place.

My family and I stayed here during the summer of 2015 and we chose this small and comfortable hotel. Although, when we got there, it was extremely dated and we had to wait a long while before we decided to track the owner down for check in. We were a total of 4 people and took the two bed room. This was very small. It was a king bed in the middle of the room and a queen in a small room separated by a closet door. We were shocked that the manager quickly told us that there was no room service and... Read more

My husband and I stayed at Queens Gate Resort in April 2016. We stayed on Bradenton Beach in attendance for a beach wedding. Although we only stayed one night, it was perfect for what we needed! It's walking distance to the beach, and several restaurants. Small pool, but beautiful pool side decorations. I will stay there again if we go back to Anna Marie Island or Bradenton Beach!

We love Queens Gate! It is quaint and has lots of charm! We always rent the house and it is perfect! It is very clean and has everything that you need for a week on the beach even its own grill on a private deck! Maxine at Queens Gate is wonderful and if you need anything she will literally jump up and get it for you! The beach is right across the street and Queens Gate has beach chairs for guests to use. They also have a beautiful pool if you get tired of the beach!

This is such a nice place. Yes, it's small, but it is across the street from the beach, it has a nice pool, the staff is friendly, and you are within walking distance of a great restaurant. They also have a pavilion with a large grill where you can fix your own dinner if you wish. The room is stocked with dishes, silverware, glassware, a toaster, microwave, and mini-fridge. My only suggestion would be for them to replace the pillows. The ones in our room were like bricks. Need something fl... Read more

This was our 4th time staying at Queen's Gate and there's a reason for this....It's a little piece of paradise! Kathy and her crew Sue and Tina are always welcoming and accommodating. There is nothing you need to bring with you except for a bathing suit! Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, coffee pot, hair dryer...you name it...it's there. Thanks again ladies for another relaxing, peaceful, comfy vacation! See you again next year! Helen Eslinger and family

We stayed with our grandkids in Room 3. The manager Cathy, and staff are most helpful and friendly. Our room was very small, but had all the amenities needed. They made most efficient use of the space, and chairs, beach towels along with beach umbrellas are included. The porch had 2 rockers to enjoy. The inn is just across a busy road from the beautiful gulf beach. Most traffic will stop to let you cross, but be cautious with young children. Place is pet friendly, with a charge of $75 for a s... We stayed 2 nights at Queens Gate Resort. It was wonderful! It's not the Ritz but very clean & comfy. They pay attention to comfort/detail. It's all you need for a getaway or vacation. Affordable compared to most. It was a 2 double bed room with comfy beds, decor was beach themed. The room smelled awesome & had all the things you need, hair dryer, extra blankets, beach towels, refrig, microwave, coffee maker, & much more.. They have the wall air conditioning system with remote... Very quiet. Th... Read more

A friend and I made last-minute reservations for my sisters birthday weekend. We had an incredible time. If you're looking for a five-star all-inclusive resort this is not it. But if you're looking for comfort, ease of access to the beach, caring staff and well maintained grounds this is the place. It's an older property. But we had everything we needed in the room. From mini fridge, coffee maker, Beach towels and Umbrella. Highly recommend. Kathy was easy and helpful to work with.

Why buy a vacation home, or vacation rental, when you can just always come to Queen's Gate Resort? I've been a recurring guest of Queen's Gate for over 10 years now. I almost don't want to give it great reviews because I feel like it's my family's "secret hideaway". They have a private section of beach. Although other people are usually walking up and down the beach, you can get plenty of elbow room, even on busy days. I've been a guest during the summer, winter, and fall, and the beach i... Never been to the island much less Queen's Gate. Booked through Max who was no longer there by the time of our trip. Sure would have loved to meet her because she was awesome on the phone! BUT, Tina sure made up for it! She was like having an old friend around not a staff member. My family & I celebrated my birthday complete with a Mariachi band under the gazebo right along with her. You can feel your stress go away as you drop your bags and enjoy the old Florida charm. Can't wait to return... Read more

My husband and I booked this Place via booking.com as a 4*Resort, but never ever is this a 4* Resort. A Resort offers daily Service, but not here, only new towels are available if you want so. The Classic Studio with 2 beds was very simple furnished and small, but clean. The beds, furniture and kitchen accessories has seen better days! The pictures on their website do not correspondence with reality ! Location is close to main street, traffic started very early, thus it was very loud. The door ... Read more

Overpriced. It is very close to the beach but the rooms are very tired and out of date. We were very disappointed but we stayed there and said nothing. We had a 2 bed studio and paid $400 for 2 nights in October. No maid service (I believe you can ask for this, but we didn't ) To get clean towels you have to put your used towels in a basket outside your front door in the morning.Would rate it as only 2 maybe 3 stars.

I stayed at Queens Gate Resort in November 2016. For those of you who may be like me, let me give you my first lesson in staying on Anna Marie Island in Florida, it seems that according to Queens Gate Resort, none of the places on the Island open before 9:30am. So don‚??t expect the office to be open before that time. I have been to many cabins in the mountains and several resorts in Florida and did not know this. I was given an ‚??extensive‚?? showing of the room and what to do with garbage but... Read more
