Everything was very nice. Had no problems. Would have liked a fridge but I managed. Traveled alone felt very safe and secure. Room was very quiet and was restful. Only problem I had was I could not find the towels for the pool. I did discover they were way on the far side of the pool on the last day

I have stayed at the Hilton Altamonte Springs a few times and it is OK, doesn't particularly excel. Again the business lounge area was not serviced during the weekend and was a mess as well as having non of the complimentary facilities being available from later on Sat through Sun. Having paid a premium for this it is not acceptable. This is a regular thing.. the area is not serviced at the weekend. Also no hot water one morning. The receptionist had no authority to offer any compensation? When ... Read more

I was in this area for a business trip, and my lodging choice was not my own. Having said this, I did keep an open mind regarding my impression of the hotel. Overall, it was a decent stay. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The main floor layout was nice and open and conducive to socialization. The bar was directly across from the front desk, was well-stocked, had plenty of seating, and appeared contemporary. A similar theme was applied to the adjacent restaurant. There a... Read more

Took over an hour to get a blanket for roll-away bed after a very long work day. Only one housekeeping staff member for a very full and large hotel. Smoking area was a pig sty although pleasantly appointed and far enough away from hotel so as not to bother non-smoking guests. Sound system in crystal ballroom needs improvement.

Older Hilton property. Could tell this most in the rooms with lower ceiling as you come in the room and entry doors leading from into the room from the hallway a bit worn. On the other hand the digital key which is a newer feature worked without any issues. Room was furnished nicely, was decent size and clean which is my number one expectation. Lobby was very nice and front desk friendly and helpful. Would certainly consider again.

Great except for being awakened at 3:30am because my car window was smashed and car broken into. Ten cars were broken into. Where was security? In the aftermath, the staff was very helpful but I would have appreciated security to prevent the assault.

We stayed for 2 nights there and I did the online checkin with the digital key. First, no upgrade was offered for my diamond status, even with rooms available on the executive floors. The lounge wasn't working properly, and the espresso machine on the lounge was requiring cleaning all the time. Also, I needed to go to the lobby to request an electronic key to have access to the lounge, and to request the proper amount of breakfast vouchers. Also the A/C was really loud. But overall our stay was... Read more

I am here on business and I have to say, that this is the Absolute Worst Hilton I've ever stayed at. Although the people working here are friendly, that's about the only nice thing I can think of to say. The hotel is rundown and shabby. Food is average to below average. The pool area is deplorable. The tables at the (teeny tiny) pool area are rickety. A colleague sat down on a chair and the whole thing collapsed. Plus, When I went out there to study at the end of the day, they were still dirty ... Read more

This property is definitely showing its age; however, friendly and helpful staff more than made up for this. I would have probably selected a different Hilton property given the choice, but I had an overall pleasant stay and would stay again on business if necessary.

In years of near-constant travel, over hundreds (thousands?) of hotel nights, this is the lowest rating I've ever given any property. To reveal my personal bias right off the bat, it should be noted that I was here for a conference, and thus stayed here for a week pretty much without leaving the property at all. So it is likely that my deep dislike is a function of poor experience plus extended time spent experiencing. Still. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here for any reason, but especially ... Read more

All in all the hotel was OK, but Altamonte Springs is a long way from the Orlando airport, then local shops, banks and even fast food joints. If you don't have a car, be wary of taxi drivers. Mine added $200 over and above what I gave on the cash machine even after I wrote the amount I was prepared to give!!! Cheeky sod. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Part of my costs included a buffet breakfast daily and a limited smorgasbord early supper on weekdays. The room was comfortable and all a... Read more

The lobby was nice and meeting rooms met our needs. Staff was helpful. Guest rooms were dated, a little awkward, and not quite up to my expectations for a Hilton hotel. Remote was sticky and carpet was a little "crunchy" in spots, though the cleaning staff did keep the room relatively clean. One night at about 11:30 PM screaming young children kept running up and down the hall and kept knocked on my door.

Hotel conferences have the advantage of convenience, but they can also be something less than a great experience. Recently, I participated in a mini-conference run by the Florida Writers' Association which was held in the Orlando/Altamonte Springs Hilton. The hotel was easy enough to find and was in a fairly quiet neighborhood, parking was adequate, and the facilities used for the conference were very nice. This Hotel is local to many businesses. There is currently is a lot of construction on the interstate which makes traffic problematic in the area. The hotel has a nice lobby with a restaurant and plenty of space to spread out and do some work if you are so inclined. The rooms are adequate and have probably been upgraded 5-7 years ago. In general, we were very pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was clean except the shower was in bad condition - tiles were fitted in a make shift way. The room was clean but needed some updates (lining of furniture hanging, WiFi was horrible even if you paid extra (they removed the charge), toilet paper dispenser almost required you to turn 180 degrees as it was behind you. The hotel was short staffed. Restaurant service was slow due to being short staffed as well. Food quality did not match the price. Would not eat there again. The room was nicely decorated and appeared to be clean. A/C would shut down during the night and start back up the next morning.

The restaurant staff was very nice. Even staff in the sales office. The male who checked me in seemed bothered by me. Gold status, what's that, I had to remind him. It was so awful until I was suppose to stay an extra day post conference. I checked out early and paid the airline change fee.

I attended a conference at this hotel and it was more than adequate. Surprisingly good food at the restaurant and the catered breakfast was good as well. Nice lobby and common areas, but the rooms could use some upgrading. It is right ON I-4 so and the highway noise was apparent. The pool was nice enough but not a lavish resort style pool. The common areas seemed updated while the rooms are in need of turnover. The beds were soft and the furniture was cheap and beginning to fall apart.... Read more

Then I went down at 1:00 AM back to front desk to get breakfast coupons and he said I dont need any coupons and breakfast is included in my room rate. Next morning they charged additional amount for breakfast to my room. It took me 3 days to get that thing taken care off. Plus the toilet was not fun... Read more

I stayed in this hotel while evacuating from Hurricane Matthew. I was lucky to reserve one of the last rooms available. While the hotel was full and short-staffed, I want to thank the management and staff who spent nights in the hotel to serve our needs. The breakfast and dinner buffets were fantastic and good priced and I like the free breakfast that came with my room. I also like the free desktop computers in the lobby even though one got fried by a power surge. My room was clean and room ... Read more

Bolted here from the beach when police mandated evacuation. Wild day. Hotel was ready for storm guests and offered fair value - no gouging or ripoffs. Helen in cafe is a sweetheat - a real hospitable staffer. No bell carts, arriving or leaving.

There were many positive things about the Altamonte Springs Hotel near Orlando. I believe the problems with stuffy unpleasant hallways was due to all the mayhem with weather Hurricane Matthew; There were problems with menu at restaurant and probably they had a skeleton crew, so there at time the service was beyond slow; 45 minutes for an overcooked burger? I will stay there again, and if the forces of nature cooperate I am quite sure my next review would be better.

GREAT JOB! to the staff and all of the restaurant workers and servers in such a demanding time! 100% excellent and professional quality throughout!
