Great hotel. Impressive lobby without being grandious. Interior gardens/atrium very nicely laid out. Ample elevators for upper floors, without long wait times. Rooms/suites are spacious with bedroom privacy. additional sink/counter in bedroom for convenience. Room was very clean and well made up. Staff was more than helpful. Parking is plentiful.

This was the second time we stayed at this Embassy Suites. It is an older property, but was being renovated. We stayed for two nights over New Year's weekend. I used 24 hour advance check in to reserve our room. We were on the sixth floor. Check in was quick, since I had pre-checked online. Our suite was a bit smaller than the newer hotels, but was very clean. The bathroom was also a bit small, but was well appointed. They had the usual toiletries. This Embassy Suites is a nice hotel with a pretty atrium area, and most of the staff is very friendly. It has fairly standard Embassy amenities, although the evening reception was not as complete as others we have stayed in. We booked a premium suite for the first time on this visit. You pay about $15 more per night, but the website advertises a nice assortment of snacks and beverages in room. We thought this choice would be a good value for our family. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the first room, because it smelled awful, was dark, and the electrical outlets did not work. The staff moved us to a different room and it was wonderful!! The beds were very comfortable and the room was bright and did not smell. The complimentary breakfast was very nice with a variety of food. Once again, the staff should be commended for great service with a smile!!

This was our first visit to the hotel. It was exactly as advertised, the evening "gathering" was nice and breakfast was outstanding (hand made omelets!). My only objection was the location. It is indeed located on a lovely lake, but the walk around the lake was closed, and most of the roads around the lake were closed. We felt a bit isolated in the location, especially as the "location" was quite advertised. In addition, the hotel itself could use a bit of updating. Everything was very clea... Read more

Booked a executive level room for daughter's softball tournament so I figured I'd do exec level to make sure we had snacks and breakfast each day. Of course I check in and "boom" - I find a tucked away sign near an ice machine on a hallway table. Ironically there is no exec level when softball families are in town but they sure as heck will charge you for breakfast and any of the other amenities at inflated cost. Just flat out corporate greed and deceptive money grabbing practice. I'm sure s... Read more

We stayed there four night and were very pleased with the room and the service. However, they do encourage you to attend their nightly social hour and this was not too pleasant. They serve beer and soda along with chips and salsa. When ordering a beer, you get a third degree from the server to prove you are a guest at the hotel. The same with the chips. Someone stands directly over you almost counting how mutant chips you are taking. I was getting some for both my husband and myself and pu... Read more

The chlorine in the pool was way too strong for all three days. Swimsuits faded and the kids were coughing like crazy. They even had to close the pool. It's the second embassy suites I go to and this happens. HORRIBLE! Also no towels they put like 10 towels knowing they have a bunch of teams there filled with kids. When u ask for more, get ready to freeze all the way to the room bc it won't get there. Under staffed is an understatement.

I've been here a few times, at times with kids, other times with a friend. It has not changed much in the past 15 years. In some ways that's good, other ways not. First, the location. If you want to stay at a hotel in Altamonte Springs with the best location, this is it. Right on the lake, next to the park, and a short (and safe) walk to Uptown Altamonte (eateries), AMC Movies, and the Altamonte Mall. If you get a lakeside room, you get the best view. The hotel lies ten to fifteen miles to the north of the theme parks, but it is easy access to/from I-4. If you find yourself in the neighborhood - or if you intend to be there - then you will also find the hotel suite format an excellent value. Really, there's nothing to complain about, and the full, cooked-to-order breakfast (and buffet) is included. On the Friday evening of our stay, simple 'well' drinks (bloody marys, margaritas, sangria) were also complimentary.

TV didn't work first 2 nights, food was as tasty as Denny's and staff were not very professional. Staff parked closest to the entrance, leaving guests to park in fear of the building. Management is non existent. Horrible experience from A-Z I would highly recommend a different location or hotel.

I was pretty disappointed in this stay. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. I lobby is beautiful, but I felt the suites were very dated and needed a makeover. The walls in the suite had several marks on them and looked like they had been repainted several times. The carpet in the suite was dated and old.

Checked in for my conference, all is ok. Came back from day 1, they said I only had 1 night. My registrar has paperwork from the hotel for 2 nights. They took my things out of the room, left my shampoo in the room, and we quite flippant about all that happened. I expect more from a decent hotel!

do not stay in the palm wing; rooms are smaller and might have some fleas due to 1st floors being pet friendly; microwave plate (the plate that comes with the microwave) caught on fire while reheating food; staff was unfriendly; im a silver hhonor member and was not acknowledge, they gave me my card key when I checked in and that was it, no intro about anything....worse Embassy I have ever stayed!

The hotel had nice Hilton service, room was decent, not sure why all the high reviews, nothing special in my opinion, breakfast quality was not so good (except for the cook making egg orders who was very nice) - employees hanging around breakfast area eating (!). There were 2 elevators, I got in 1 going down, man with dirty laundry cart from housekeeping shoved open doors as it was closing and pushed in cart (?) - would think Hilton protocol would have been for him to wait for next elevator, lo... I recently stayed for a week at the EMBASSY SUITES ORLANDO NORTH. The rooms are big and well-appointed. We stayed in the main building on the top floor. The room had a nice view of the lake and surrounding area. The staff is warm, friendly and very attentive. The location next to Cranes Roost Park is great if you want to be north of Downtown Orlando but still want to be in a convenient area. The WIFI worked great throughout the hotel. The breakfast had a good selection of the usual fare a... Read more

Our room smelled and we felt that it was unsafe to our respiratory track to breath it in. It is a pet friendly hotel so probaly it was from the carpet being cleaned so many times. There was gunk on the curtains and an lamp did not work.

We evacuated from Palm Coast and we were very pleased with this hotel. They were very accommodating at every turn! The staff was very helpful and the complementary breakfast was superb. They were welcoming to our dog as well.

We went with my 88 yr old mother so we needed an accessible room. The room is perfect as the living area has a sofa bed and tv and the room has a tv also. The door to the bathroom is a sliding door and it needs fixing. The room has a microwave and a fridge. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Healthy plants. It has complementary cocktails in the afternoon and free breakfast with lots of choices. It houses an Omaha Steaks restaurant inside. A little expensive but my filet migno... Read more

Wonderful stay! Thank-you for taking all the worry and stress out of being away in a time that storms like Matthew can harbor so much more dread than we want to admit. Very respectful and gracious employees - all the way from phone answering services, dining hosts, cooks and waiters, to the front desk and TV repairmen! Blessed us all!

This is a somewhat dated Embassy Suites. The staff is fairly friendly, but they have a tough property to work with. Our bathroom vanity was falling apart, tile was cracked, bathroom door wouldn't stay open, etc. We had to have maintenance come and work on the toilet to get it to flush. The breakfast was very good and was probably the highlight of the stay. The location is very handy, but just be prepared for the overall condition of the property. Unfortunately, it's not the nicest Embassy Su... Read more

Located next to a lovely lake and small park. Within walking distance to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. Driving access excelllent via I-4 (close but not so close that you hear any highway traffic).

Room was clean and quiet. Dogs allowed with small fee. Amazing hot breakfast with cooked to order eggs. Especially nice server (named Clinton?) that took care of us in atrium. Five o'clock social hour in atrium with snacks and free drinks. Nice steak restaurant on property. Inside pool area was shut down during a rain storm due to a faulty pipe drainage system. Close to Orlando, but out of the chaos. Located on scenic lake.

The Embassy Suite is in a great location - just a short walk/drive from the mall, restaurants, bars, and shopping centers. Walking around the lake is a great opportunity to unwind and relax. The complimentary Evening Reception and breakfast are amenities that make the hotel selection worthwhile.

Every time We go to this part of town, We had to stay at this Embassy, is so beautiful the environment and relaxing that you even want to stay at the lobby, watching (some times), people getting married, sweet 15 & 16, aniversaries, etc. The front desk people make you feel like home. The rooms are nice , cozy, and the breakfast in the morning is AWESOME. Made to order omelette, eggs, etc. Oh, don't forget happy hours 5:30-7:30 included in your stay.
