We travel with a 2yr old and an 8yr old, and we loved that the room has a kitchen and living room. We ate breakfast and dinner in the room every night, and ate lunch while we were out exploring. I brought a lot of food with us, but there was a Trader Joe and Whole foods in walking distance. The room was large enough that we could put the baby (toddler) in his bed (we brought a blow up toddler bed with us...I don't think they provide cribs) in the bedroom, and we put up a blanket to divide... The St. Gregory sits in a great location walking distance to the DuPont metro stop, a few blocks from beautiful downtown Washington and near a wide array of food options. I have stayed at this hotel every time I'm in town for business (starting November 2016-February 2017) and it seems to get better with each stay. The Front Office Manager, Christopher, is a delight and goes above and beyond making sure your stay at St. Gregory's is satisfactory. All interactions I've had with the staff has be... Read more

The lobby and my room are very nice. Sure the kitchenette looks a little aged, but overall my room is very clean and doesn't show much age. Wifi is decent. I will stay here again! I didn't have a car, but parking is $42 if you do.

I stayed at The St Gregory Hotel December 23, 2016 thru December 27, 2016, with the check out date of December 28, 2016. I was assigned to Room #408 which faces M Street. My recommendation is to request a Suite that faces New Hampshire Ave., as M Street's view is dismal. The St. Gregory Hotel has both plus and minus factors. My One Bedroom Suite should have been a very comfortable and pleasant accomodation had there not been MAJOR issues present. The Suite itself is adequately laid out, si... Read more

Stayed solo for a week on business in September 2016, my first visit to Washington. The hotel is conveniently located near to the metro and a short ride to the National Mall and monuments. It is a good, mid-range business hotel. At the time of my stay the lobby was under renovation but it didn't impact at all. The room was large, clean and comfortable, but could do with a more modern makeover. As many have remarked, Christopher was fantastic - always a happy face, ready to have a chat and pr... Read more

I spent just a night at the hotel with a friend. The room was very comfortable and spacious, but what stood out was the service and how nice the staff was. Christopher and his colleagues at the front desk were always helpful and friendly. When I'm back to DC I'll definitely stay there again. I just wish they had a breakfast area (they offer breakfast as an option, but they take it to the room).

I had a great stay at the St. Gregory last time I was in DC. The room was spotless and the location was very convenient. The front desk manager, Christopher Cunje, was very gracious; he even lent me a cell phone charger when I realized that I had forgotten mine and asked him where I could purchase one. I'd definitely stay here again.

Currently staying at this darling boutique hotel. Great location very near DuPont Circle, GWU, etc... rooms are very generously sized for a big city location with separate living room area and second TV, Huge bathroom with a bathtub. These are the the pluses. On the negative side I have boisterous neighbors that are entertaining in their living area well after midnight and I'm an uninvited guest to their many jokes and belly laughs. Can also hear the footsteps of those above us as well. Other n... Read more

We spent 6 days in DC seeing the sights. This hotel, near to the Dupont Circle, made a great base, with plenty of good restaurants nearby and easy access to the city. We had a room with kitchenette (stove, fridge), with a sitting area, the price was reasonable. They were just completing some renovations in the public space, which will expand their offerings. The room was strangely shaped, with thermostat in the sitting area and heater in the sleeping area, which made it hard to regulate the ... Read more

My family and I stayed at the hotel for Thanksgiving. When we first arrived and entered the lobby, the lobby was very impressive, and staff very friendly. Our first problem that we encounter is that we were not aware that there was a height restriction for vehicles, so we couldn't park at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and found free parking space for two days near the hotel, but we had to move our car after the two days. Again, the staff was very helpful after free parking for two da...
