My buddies and I decided to go out in DC, stayed at the RL for the night. When we arrived at the hotel, Derrick who was working front desk was super helpful. He recommended a few spots we should check out. When we got back to the hotel that night we were starving, Derrick brought out menus from his favorite pizza places and made sure we didn't go to bed hungry. Overall great experience. The hotel room was huge!

The RL is an average hotel. I got my pricing through a prepayment site...I think Hotwire for $125. At that price It was okay. During our stay in October 2016 the lobby was under construction. The hotel is well placed between Farragut North and Dupont Circle.

Incredible responsiveness. Above and beyond customer service. Hotel RL staff were amazing! Downtown DC hotels fill up quickly during busy periods and we needed somewhere just a few blocks from the office. A week-long business meeting was confirmed at the last minute and all the usual suspects had no vacancies. Hotel RL was just opening after major renovations and offered an excellent group rate. Their staff was incredibly responsive, made changes based on specific needs within the group, and ev... Read more

I stayed here New Year's Eve because I was attending a party down in the basement. The party promoter told us she worked out a "deal" with the hotel manager. Staying in a hotel is cheaper than a DUI or ending up in the morgue, so I contacted the hotel manager and booked a room. TH (the manager) was courteous during the booking, and whoever checked me in was also pretty nice. It's New Year's, people are all over the place, so I appreciate when people are cool and friendly when the going gets r... Read more

The hotel is nice, the staff is really friendly but try not to go in there during winter time. They have a central heat system and it is literally a sauna in there. We had to open the windows because the room temperature was 83 degrees. I thought I was going to suffocate in there. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay.

It's been a rough stay this far. As you enter the hotel it's hard to decipher where the front desk is. You are checked in by someone sitting at a wooden desk just inside the front door with a laptop. People were packed in either trying to check in or check out. Coffee bar was closed. Got to my room. Not a bad looking room but the HVAC does not work. Room was warm and when I called the "front desk" I was told that the hotel was changing systems and that I was welcome to open a window. I request... Read more

This hotel is a cute boutique hotel with amazing personal service and help! The location can't be beat! The rooms are large with microwave and fridge, although the coffee pot didn't work. Hopefully, the espresso bar will be ready to open soon!

This was our first trip to Washington DC but wont be the last. The Hotel was in a great location in Downtown close to everything within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and obliging when checking in and especially Andre in the Business Centre who helped me out when I had to book the shuttle to Baltimore Airport for our flight to California, thank you so much Andre. They have PC's for your use on the lower level and free Wi-Fi in your room. The hotel has wonderful lar... Read more

Stayed here from Tuesday thru Friday last week and stayed in room 207. The room was big with a microwave and a refrigerator. Came with Wifi as well. Only issue I would say is the drain in the shower did not drain the first day and someone had to come out to fix it. Other than that no issues with hotel and would stay here again.

We were trying this hotel for the first time and chose it because of its proximity to our daughter's office. It was an absolutely wonderful stay. Everyone was welcoming and extremely helpful. The new decor (while not finished) was relaxing and attractive. Our room was amazingly spacious and comfortable. The only down side was the street noise but RL thoughtfully supplies ear plugs. The bed was very comfortable and their pillows are the first ones we have EVER liked in a hotel !! And we travel a... Read more
