Booked this Hotel off of the Southwest Airline site. Booked it for the location mainly. From the time we arrived and were met by Manny, we knew this was going to be a good selection. Our room was large and well kept. We were well within walking distance to the Smithsonian and only 2 blocks from the Metro stop, Overall the staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The bedding and towels were first rate! A great weekend stay for us!

Walking distance to George Washington University. Building is showing its age, but scheduled for remodeling. It's clean and the bedding is great. Needs separate vanity from bathroom. The night stands are downright dangerous. They are tiered, and it would be very easy to trip over the bottom tier in the middle of the night. Lots of things are in walking distance. Georgetown nearby. We "Ubered" it, but if you're ambitious you could probably walk it. Lots of places to eat. Safe, clean part of the c... Read more

We loved our stay! The hotel is far enough out that the price is reasonable. There are metro stations close by so getting around is easy (once you learn the metro). Staff is friendly and very helpful. Tyler always had a smile on her face and was very helpful with restaurant choices! The only reason I didn't rate 5 of 5 is due to the AC. They were not able to switch the system over during our stay and our room got really hot if closed up at night, which it needs to be since the street traffic is ... Read more

Very well located near The National Mall and within 40 min of the farthest museum I visited. It's clean and well kept but could use a good updating to modern codes, but for me the bottom line is a clean bed, linens, and carpets. And it didn't disappoint. The Lobby and some areas are in the process of getting updated and there is some construction remodeling noise during day time hours till its done. Staff was courteous and helpful, small but well stocked breakfast bar with basics were good. Th... Read more

I had a very difficult day and a previous reservation I made at a different property was not honored due to the hotel being overbooked. When I arrived at the RL, Tylor went over and above to make me feel welcome and get me settled into my room. She is a terrific employee and certainly one of the best hospitality professionals I have ever had the opportunity to meet. Thank you Tylor. You took my bad day and turned it into a great day due to your kindness and caring attitude for your guests. I loo... Read more

Stayed at the RL Hotel for a conference in the area recently. It was the conference hotel so I booked it for the sake of ease. It was not very close, but it was a nice walk at the end of the day. The good news: The lobby belies the quality of the rooms, which are very spacious, and have some nice amenities. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows re good, and the bathroom amenities are good. Nice very large bath towel. The staff are very helpful. MANNY the bellman is by far the most deligh... The facade was unappealing and even had some broken tiles. The lobby was very small, but the staff greeted us with a smile and held our bags until it was check in time. We left to do some sightseeing and then returned to a very clean, comfortable, and spacious hotel room. The hotel is near a fire station so we were awakened by the firetruck's sirens and then later when it was backing up to park inside the station. This hotel has wonderful rooms and a courteous staff, but I recommend getting a ro... Read more

When I arrived, I was told that I had no reservation even though I had a confirmation number. We got through that but it took a long time and it was late. The room was clean and nice but not fancy. I appreciated the kitchenette. No one ever came to service the room but I saw someone in the hall and she was very helpful. Tyler was particularly helpful as I was checking out. She carried my bag to the taxi and would not take a tip. The other front desk clerk would not correct my bill, but I wi... Read more

Small hotel with big rooms, including a kitchenette, large sofa and free wifi. Staff is excellent - especially Manny and Tylor - who go out of their way to be helpful. This is a friendly place to stay, in a great part of DC. It used to be called the Quincy.

We was greeted by Manny, the bell man who is so friendly and funny. Though my parents don't speak English, they all felt welcomed and warmed by his stories. The room is so spacious, modern and clean. It was beyond my expectation. The hotel's location is only 10 minutes of walk from the white house. I'd come back again next time I'm in DC :)
