Lovely hotel - close to Union Station. Room was comfortable and service was excellent. No doubt we'll stay there on our next visit to Washington. Loved the coffee bar in the morning with your choice of latte, cappuccino, espresso, coffee, tea or chocolate.

After staying at spacious hotels and especially the Atlanta Marriott Marquis hotel we found this hotel very old and the room very small. However the staff were lovely and the hotel had free wifi as well as being centrally located opposite Union Station and close to all the attractions of Washington DC most of which are within walking distance. As we were out most of the time and only slept in the room it did meet our needs.

We flew to Washington DC for the weekend and booked at the Phoenix Park Hotel. The rooms are very modern. Our room had a purple wall which was bright yet sophisticated. I realized that I had forgotten my necklace for our event later that evening so we ran across the street to the Union Station shops (there are several restaurants in Union Station too). I bought a necklace but I wasn't happy with it. Kiki ... Read more

The staff at the Phoenix Park was wonderful to work with. My group hosted weekly meetings for over three years and the banquet and catering staff were wonderful. They were very responsive to our needs, even the ones that were short notice. I can't say enough good stuff about my experience.

We liked this hotel. The staff were great. The dubliner bar has great food and service however we were disappointed by the fact they had stopped providing tea and coffee in the rooms. For us this is a fundamental error. We look forward to being able to make a drink in our rooms after a long day and having a brew whilst getting ready for the day ahead. We have never stayed in a hotel before that has withdrawn this facility. Sorry Phoenix Park this is a big MISTAKE on you part. On a plus the hotel... Read more
