I've staying at this hotel twice in Spring 2016 for work trips to DC. The location is fantastic, with great access to the DC metro and lots of local restaurants. It's very centrally located to all of DC night life. The rooms were clean with great Nest toiletries. Wireless was excellent and there is a 24/7 quick grab food option as well as a bar/lounge area and coffee house attached to the property. My only complaint is that there was no minibar and that the walls could be quite thin at times if... Read more

Loved the Embassy Row Hotel! The property has a very boutique feel with excellent service, chic accommodations, and one of the best locations in the city! The staff was very helpful throughout the stay, very clean rooms. My only cons were the internet (a little slow) and i didn't love the bathroom vanity (space). Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and look forward to recommending to other DC visitors!

Room 413 was very small and was not stocked with soap and shampoo. The room that I stayed in was not represented on the website. It was the smallest room that I have stayed in while on travel. The room also needed to be vacuumed.

I didn't know what to expect with this hotel, but it was a cool experience. The hotel was great. Its location in Dupont Circle was great to be able to walk around to different restaurants & not feel uncomfortable walking alone. I'd recommend this location again to our company for another business retreat.

Very trendy, cool, chic setting. Great location, walking distance from metros and many restaurants. Service is good; my TV was broken and someone came to fix it within the hour, at night. No mini bars. Food in the lobby is hugely overpriced.

We stayed here for two night in June 2016. The hotel looks amazing, the interior design is visually pleasing. The rooms are very clean and the staff was friendly. Only downside: the valet parking was very expensive: 2 nights and 1 day- 106 dollars. But overall i would highly recommend, we loved it!

After a 4hr drive from New York, we checked into this hotel on Wednesday afternoon. As soon as I got out the car, a member of staff came straight over and took all my luggage up the stairs to Reception. Check in was quick and all in order for our booking. Very friendly reception staff. As my partner took the hire car back to drop off, the same member of staff brought all of our cases and bags up to the bedroom. The decor of the Reception and Bar/Lounge areas was lovely. Very boutique style wh... Read more

Stayed here for two nights for business - fantastic location in the embassy area (as the name suggests) and so close to everything. Hotel is modern, eclectic, with friendly welcoming staff. Check in was super fast and the room was perfect. Would recommend without hesitation and hope to stay here when I return to DC with my daughters for a weekend.

Clean rooms, great location to sight seeing and the metro. Lots of bars, dining and shopping just a block away at Dupont Circle. Close to fine dining and the local chains, like 7-Eleven, CVS, Subway. I would like to have had a microwave handy (maybe one was available downstairs, I did not check). I would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was very clean and modern. The hotel is a short walk from the DuPoint Cir. North Metro station, in the heart of a great neighborhood. The Embassy Row is very gay-friendly, and caters to a diverse clientele. This will be my go-to hotel the next time I'm in D.C.!

The DuPont Circle location was lovely--very close to dining and the metro station--but the standard room rate was overpriced. It felt like the hotel was trying too hard with broadcasting all the cool hotel features in the lobby and restaurants, but the room itself wasn't anything special. Valet parking is only option and $45/day.

We stayed at this hotel Sunday 6/26 to Tuesday 6/28. When we went to check in, the fire alarm had been going off and elevators were stopped. Although it was an inconvenience, the hotel did apologize and provided free coffee the next morning which was a nice touch. That was appreciated. We didn't have time to use the pool, but that is something I would like to check out next time. The decor was different, but I liked it. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were amazed at how the pictures on tripadvisor actually matched that of the hotel. This is a modern, hip and active hotel. Rooftop bar with a pool has a very nice view. The rooms are very clean, modern design and we fell in love with the place which is very rare. I struck gold on this one as far as cleanliness. However, this place also has its downside. It took a while to get checked in and it gives you the feeling that this place is understaffed. The receptionist was the same person helping... Read more

As a former D.C. resident I can tell you that the hotel will give a good taste of what D.C. has to offer. If you happen to be there on a Sunday, check out the Dupont Circle farmer's market...it's not even 1/2 a block from the hotel. To be fair, the hotel is located on a major D.C. road and the 'city' noise level may be a little much for some especially if your room is situated on that side of the hotel.

Worst experience of my life. I bought tickets for their roof top 4th of July event and called an hour before we left for the event. Front desk told me the event was still being held. After an hour drive, we arrive to find that the event that I bought tickets for was canceled, but hotel guests can still attend. I called before coming!!! I drove an hour for this event! The Embassy Row Hotel is in a perfect location--just at Dupont Circle--and the staff is friendly and ready to help. The lobby area is outdated and oddly decorated but the rooftop patio makes up for that (certainly on warm days). The rooms are completely fine but watch out when you turn on the air conditioning. The sound in the three rooms we occupied was so loud and overwhelming that we ended up turning them off and dealing with the 80+ degree temps (IN the rooms). The "mechanics" came to each r... This low frills hotel was perfectly located for touring DC. It is right next to the metro stop and it is very easy to get around to all of the sites. The neighborhood looked like fun for those in their 20s, with a fabulous farmers' market on Sunday. The decor in the hotel was nice, especially the graffiti in the stairwells. There is a fantastic pool on the roof. The hotel did not have all of the service amenities that we enjoy, such as bell service or room service. The check in process was fru... Read more

So I heard that the pool was "the best in the nation" and was curious. The pool is small but the views are nice. The pool and bar was busy for a Saturday. No where to sit. Sunday was nice though and much less crowded. Nice mix of people. The room was nicely decorated and common areas were clean. No room service however.

This hotel met our expectations and then some! The rooms were very clean and the beds was very comfortable. TV was a nice size as well. The only small complaint would be the cost of the items in the Station Kitchen dining area. Although the food was acceptable, we thought it was over priced for what you got. I must compliment the service at the front desk, especially Wanda who was exceptional.

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that the building and atmosphere was stunning. I want to emphasize how wonderful the staff were. I had some wonderful conversations with staff members, and if I encountered the same person at the desk or coffee shop, they always remembered me. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. We spent 5 days there and it was overly priced and they have no hotel parking. This is a nice hotel, centrally located and near a metro station. Clean, pretty rooms. (No bathtubs in the rooms, which is too bad.) But do not come here for the pool. The hotel was cool. The staff were awesome for us. We are local so the stay needed to meet expectations that enabled me to replace home temporarily. Besides the TV issue, I would think your hotel, its location and cost should have room service. Those of us who travel for business expect that. I went to the Fairfax hotel across the street so I could have an " American style" breakfast all the while thinking : why my hotel could not provide me that. We stayed at the Embassy Row hotel for an overnight family trip, we chose the hotel for its proximity to transportation and it's pool! I was on a business trip. The front end who checked me in assigned a room next to the elevator. I came back and asked for a room away from the elevator. The person made changes and when I went up, I saw the room is still close to the elevator. I gave up going back again, as I was so tired travelling the whole day. Please pay attention to guest requests. Not a big deal?
