Great location, clean property, nice rooms. The staff at the hotel is awesome! My recent stay included the Gregory Suite offered by Christopher which was wonderful! I always stay here when I visit our D.C. office.

My friend and I had the most perfect stay at the St Gregory. Sadly we could only afford to be in DC for 3 days but I would have loved to stay longer. Checkin at the hotel was quick and painless and the room was lovely. It was roomy, had excellent facilities and beds were comfortable. We only had one problem whilst we were there which was that our tv didn't work but the very lovely Christopher soon had that sorted for us so that we could have a nice relaxed evening on our last night. My husband and I headed into DC for a weekend escape and had a lovely stay. Christopher greeted us with a big smile and his sophisticated, partly British accent. He took great care of us and our room was superb (see photos). It even had a balcony and 2 rocking chairs! And most important - the bed was to die for. I slept so well. Oh and the shower is wonderful with L'Occitane products. We had dinner a block away at Rasika. Delicious modern Indian. Excellent. What a nice getaway for the end ... Read more

Very luxurious large city hotel. Room was quite spacious -- anteroom and bedroom with a TV in each. Ironing board, small fridge - no microwave. Some of my colleagues had rooms with more kitchen facilities. Coin operated laundry. Included breakfast was very good with a hot dish every day, cereal, yogurt, pastries, croissants and the like. Plus there was an evening happy hour with a snack and free glass of wine. About a mile or so away is the National Mall - great for jogging -- just have... Read more

I stayed here two nights for a business trip. The hotel was walking distance to the location of the meetings that I conducted and about 40 minutes walking to the different monuments and museums. The hotel is undergoing renovations in the lobby but that did not bother us at all. I had a junior suit and it was very comfortable. The room was clean and large and the staff were very friendly.

Elegant classic hotel in a central location for walking to the main sights of the city. When we stayed, they were having some work done, to improve the entrance area and ground floor, but it was really no inconvenience as it was cleanly and safely contained and temporary signage was effective. However their excellent customer service meant that the hotel gave us free breakfasts every morning and free wine in Happy Hour! We were very impressed with their service and would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for one night with my cousin and Dad. This was my very first visit to Washington D.C. on holiday from the UK. We were amazed at the value for money considering the central location, but then learnt that renovations were underway in the reception area of the hotel. This was not an issue as all works were contained and so hotel guests were not exposed to any work related mess. We had a warm welcome from Christopher, who though rather stressed was very helpful and pleasant. Our rooms ... Read more

At first I was worried when I saw the outside, but all worries were eased by a super friendly and personable staff. The room was beautiful, clean, and completely what we needed . It is located close to everything, Starbucks, Grill Fish. Only a short distance from the National Mall, it made for one of my favorite morning runs yet. Loved It!

Stayed at the St. Gregory hotel for one night for a girls' weekend to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is currently under renovation and the restaurant (M Street Bar and Grill) is closed. This wasn't a problem though because there are lots of dining options walking distance from the hotel. We arrived at 4:30 for check-in and were told that the bar has free wine between 5-6. We went up to our room (809) and was the accommodations exceeded our expectations. The suite was huge! There was a separate... Read more

Stayed recently for a business trip. There was tons of construction going on in hotel. Rooms were very clean, love the free happy hour, and Damian at front desk was great.

Hotel welcome was poor with front desk staff struggling to complete basic check-in, offer a room despite PM arrival. No previous correspondence re construction nor any recognition about the construction upon arrival. Rooms are confused with some very dated elements and some new. Air conditioning very loud in room, breakfast was terrible and overall experience was very poor. Stay somewhere else.

Even with thew construction the St. Gregory was top notch. The staff was friendly, efficient & helpful. Soloman, the doorman, was so personable - truly wanted us to have a good stay. Check in was fast & easy & we even got a complimentary Lyft coupon which we used the whole time we were in DC. Clean, well appointed room. Complimentary wine/snacks reception & continental breakfast were a nice touch (only available during construction, I believe).
