The office style chair in my room was so close to the bed that it was a tripping hazard. Be careful, I overheard another guest saying that he and his wife experienced the same issue in their room. All rooms may not have this issue. I gave the room a poor rating due to the tripping hazard. Other than that, the room was clean but a bit smaller than most hotel rooms.

Stayed with son and a friend for a quick trip to D.C. the room was nice, the tub was peeling which was my biggest complaint. So we got moved. I love the boutique feel to hotel. Staff at front was so friendly!! There is a great bar/restaurant about a block and a half away called barcode. Seemed like it was a great social hangout for the younger crowd but there food was amazing!! Not cheap but not really expensive either. good location and it was reasonably priced. I recommend it, we flew ... Read more

This was the ideal location for walkability to the White House and monuments. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It must have been the fact that our stay was the week between Christmas and New Years that the place was a ghost town. The bar was not open any of the 4 days we stayed. The parking attendants were unclear on pricing and contradicted one another. Even with these two minor mishaps I would stay here again on a future trip.

We came to the Madison Lowes for a Family outing. We are from Philadelphia Pennsylvania and we stayed for 1 night. We had the best experience and will definitely return and also recommend the Lowes Madison to our friends and Family.

The LoewsMadison is a comfortable hotel, very well situated for a visit to downtown Washington DC. My room on the 14th floor was quite standard with a good shower and a comfortable bed. Everything ok, but a bit outdated. A coffee making facility in the room would have been convenient.

Nice hotel with good accommodations. Recent renovations to bring quality up, and to compete with higher end hotels. As with many hotels in DC, it was at one point an older hotel or apartment building that has gone through upgrades, some better than others. The price isn't as high as with some of the newer hotels.

The Madison is a large hotel with a boutique ambiance. The front desk staff was top notch - responsive, accommodating, friendly, and efficient. My room was clean, quiet, reasonably sized, and nicely appointed.

This hotel offered me an upgrade. I responded to the email for the upgrade. The upgrade was that I would check into my hotel at 9a.m. instead of 4p.m. Then I am told that there is a possibility that I may not be approved for the upgrade. I asked when I would know whether I have been approved or not. I was told that I would know at the time of check-in. But the time of check-in is at 4p.m. How could I take advantage of this upgrade if I would not know whether I have been approved for the ... Read more

The hotel is in a great location with very nice rooms! It was much quieter than we thought earlier. The drinks in the adjoining steakhouse were good & the servers very friendly! Our family including children loved walking to the White House!
