GREAT all tile bathroom! Awesome linens! Stephanie and Jose are fabulous! Walking distance to White House and B Too. Several breakfast/coffee houses close by! One of the few hotels I found with 2 queen beds!

I've stayed here on a few occasions and have always enjoyed my stay. Location is great, only a few blocks to the metro any many wonderful restaurants nearby. Beds are comfy, rooms are large, staff are wonderful. Only small complaint, no coffee pot in room. Need to go down to the main floor to get coffee.

The hotel is nice. Very nice accomadations and service. Fantastic location, walking distance from everything important. Most rooms are the same down to the pictures on the wall, which makes it feel a little stock. Kind of place that will charge for everything--breakfast, food, even charging for "premium" wifi. Be prepared to spend extra if you're staying here.

Stayed at this hotel for business trip in the fall of 2016. Very helpful staff esp doormen. Nice large room, good water pressure!, two bars and restaurant and a Starbucks on site. Also a great location. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel...within walking distance to The Whitehouse and landmarks as well as The Smithsonian. Staff were accommodating and loved the history. The room had some modern conveniences...which was nice. Rooms were clean and large.

Positives: 1. Concierge and the Star service staff were professional and friendly. 2. Location is not bad with few cafes nearby for breakfast options and it's walking distance to the National Mall precinct. 3. Room was clean and quiet. Negatives: 1. We arrived at around 1am and when we tried to use the shower, no water would come out no matter how much we turned. Had to call the Star service to get an engineer to come and fix the shower tap at 2am when we really needed to just shower and sl... Read more

I've stayed here a few times, and usually have a pleasant experience. However, my recent stay was a problem due to the overwhelming smell of perfume in the hotel. When the lobby smelled like someone spilled a whole bottle of perfume, I guessed that maybe that was what had happened. But when I got to my floor, it had the same smell (although not quite as strong). I don't know if they are trying to cover up another odor, but it was horrible. The smell gets in your nose and throat! It bothere... Read more

After the rather faded 80s decor of our NYC abode (think Macdonald's colour scheme everywhere) this hotel was a wonderful counterpoint. Service was swift and attentive though there was a bit of confusion over the laundry service over a local holiday weekend. The hotel restaurant, Rural Society, gave us an introduction to Argentinian food albeit with American-sized portions. Bar also was well-appointed and used perhaps slightly more often than required for complete sobriety. It's also at a p... Read more

Loews Madison has a lobby decked in holiday splendor welcoming you to a wonderful place of respite in a busy town. The hotel staff are attentive from the welcoming doorman to the efficient front desk and meticulous housekeeping. I had a King room this time that had more "open" space then the double rooms I've been in previously. The bathrooms are still pretty tight, but the shower is ample (and not a tub shower which I appreciate). There was a fridge in the room and ample outlets for my electro... Read more

We stayed at this hotel with my family just before the elections. It was quite busy.We like it especially the Rural Society Restaraunt the food was nice and people were friendly especially Saul, very kind and respectful. The location was good, you could access most places. Our room was good, they provided us with a crib for my baby and baby products plus separate clean towels. That was thoughtful of them. Unfortunately, can't give them a 5-star rating because the front desk staff were rude upon checking... Read more
