Very nice stay. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and being able to have a suite room for a long business week was good. Located close enough to all the downtown activities as well without paying the normal crazy DC rates. The only drawback was the wifi was a bit iffy at times.

I stayed at the Homewood Suites Hotel ten times during the last year and a half and I wouldn't go to any other hotel in the area. The staff is friendly, the rooms are excellent, the food and social complimentary are amazing and it s centrally located and in a good area of the town. I am a lifelong loyal customer of this hotel, because in this day and age, finding an excellent experience in a hotel is difficult and the Homewood more than met my expectations.

The hotel is in a great location in DC just off the white house that we don't normally visit. We stayed one night in a family suite for 5, arrived very late at night and left the next afternoon. The hotel looks OK inside, the room we were given was also fine, it was clean and accommodations were perfectly adequate. So far so good. We had two major problems with our stay: - When we arrived, just before midnight, the parking attendant said the $40 parking fee would be for 24 hours so we took it ev... Read more

Nice hotel with spacious suites and kitchenette. Convenient location with full hot breakfast and dinner included which would be great for families. Dinner menus are posted in the room weekly. Within walking distance to White House and other popular sightseeing locations. Parking is a little on the high side, buy you must use valet parking in order to not be stressed out with moving car. We arrived on Sunday and didn't drive our car again until we left on Thursday.

Wonderful concept. A furnished apartment in the heart of the city. Within walking distance of the Whitehouse, major association headquarters and plenty of good eateries right around the corner on 14th. Very satisfying breakfast and just in case you feel like eating in, the suite is equipped with a full kitchen, pans, pots, utensils etc. can't beat the value

The entire staff is constantly at your service. The front desk staff is a group of wonderful, respectful and professional individuals. Constantly inquiring "Is everything fine". They take that extra step to make sure you fell at home. The breakfast was tremendous and everything was spotless. l would just suggest that a cold bowl of fresh cut fruit would have been the icing on the cake. Thanks for a great time and my grand kids felt extremely comfortable and safe.

A bit pricey, but it DC after all. Fair location if you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk to the major sights. Tours available from the concierge on site. Had really great weather. Nice, helpful staff. Toilet didn't flush well - water tank set for too little water. Expensive parking, but was able to check bags for the day while touring.

Nice stay for 2 nights before a conference, good location and friendly staff. Room was clean at check-in (even though they didn't clean my room for 2 days, but they apologized for the oversight). I was hardly in my room at all, so I didn't need housekeeping late in the evening when I returned to my room. Service was phenomenal, the breakfast was above average for this type of hotel in DC, happy hour was a very pleasant surprise and the quality of the room is what you would expect from a Hilton property. I highly recommend staying here over any other hotel in it's range. I stayed at the Capital Hilton with access to the executive lounge shortly after and was very disappointed. I wish I'd stayed at the Homewood Suites for the entirety of my stay in DC.

This Homewood Suites felt more like a Hampton Inn, which would be OK if it was a Hampton Inn. Couch pretty much worn out and shower very slippery. Have had much better breakfast at other Homewood Suites. Food was just not that appetizing. While this Homewood Suites was not bad overall, there are many choices in DC area and I would probably stay somewhere else next time.

The hotel room has more than the comfortable bed, two TV sets, living room with kitchen and appliances (a dishwasher, a big size refrigerator with an ice maker, microwave and stove stop burners with some pots, plates, etc.). I cooked food in nights and prepared tea-coffee. Complimentary breakfast was there with good menu. There should have been a menu card though, bcoz I am a vegetarian and I mistakenly had pork. Staffs are good. Evening happy hour is good for snacks and beverages.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites for 7 days in Washington DC.. The location was good; just four short blocks to the Metra. The Metra system is terrific in DC - trains, circulators, and buses. Our room at the Homewood Suites was comforting after each long day of touring. The entire staff was terrific.

My family and I stayed here for a fall trip to D.C. This was a return visit for us to this hotel as it is a wonderful space for a family, well located both from a safety perspective as well as proximity to Metro, DuPont Circle, the White House and many other DC attractions.

First time in the city. Loved the hotel. Splendid room. Location is not the ideal for those who want to visit the main monuments , but close to 14th street plenty of restaurants, etc. Need to take a taxi. Helpful, friendly and very nice staff. The social evening is a highlight (some Homewood Suites are not offering this anymore). Breakfast plenty of options. Strongly recomend!

We had a great stay here. The staff from top to bottom were just great. Made us feel very welcome and always ready to assist with a recommendation or how the day was going. Great location as you are close to plenty of places to eat, whole foods, etc. Short trip to National Zoo or towards the monuments, Smithsonian, etc. We would typically UBER to start the day, but if we didn't the walk was not all that bad. Breakfast each morning was great, variety of choices to satisfy all. Room was adequate f... Read more

I stay in this hotel frequently when I'm in DC. It's just a few blocks from a metro and a nice walk to DuPont Circle. The hotel staff is very nice. The rooms are good sized and the beds are REALLY comfortable. Decent manager reception in the evenings and generous breakfast. Great for families, especially with kitchen and room size.

The rooms were quiet and not much traffic was heard from the streets. Breakfast was a plus and having a kitchen facility came in handy since we had children between the ages 9-11. The location of the Hotel was about 5 blocks from the metro. We walked most of the time while in DC but this was convenient. The room was cleaned daily.

First off I'm a former DC resident so I might be biased. I love DC and everything that it encompasses. Check in was smooth and seamless of course I checked in around 4pm after spending most of the afternoon at the African American History museum which was just a short drive away. PROS: Location! Location! Talking about a less than $10 UBER car from any major tourist spot in DC: White House, The Capital, any of the museums, major universities, and Georgetown. I left my car parked for most of my s... Read more

I travel over 200 days a year. After a while you kind of get used to hotels and just tune most of it out. I'm writing this in the hopes it will dissuade someone from making the same error I did. The hotel is old and not particularly well kept. The furniture in the sitting area was cheap, old, and uncomfortable. For several days there was water coming out of the ceiling in the lobby. The area it is in leaves quite a bit to be desired and although a 6ft 225lb man I felt unsafe outside after ... Read more

We received a complimentary 5-day stay here, as presenters at a conference. We liked our suite that was fully equipped for light cooking. The breakfast was included, and a bit better than the usual breakfast provided by chain hotels, although we got tired of the offerings by the end of our stay. We wished they had offered plain yoghurt and seasonal fresh fruit. We needed a car and parking was expensive, but wifi was free. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel recently for a week and enjoyed it immensely! The staff was all so friendly and helpful.....especially the lady that checked us in. I believe her name was Carmen. The suite had everything we could ask for - all the comforts of home and then some! Bed was so comfortable. We were on the 4th floor and it was very quiet. Maid service was great too. Breakfast was adequate - the usual fare....and the dinner on weeknights was fine as well - and nice to be able to have a s... Read more

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Spent most of my days out and about so the room was really a place to drunkenly lay my head at the end of the night - and shower and excrete waste. It definitely served its purpose. Strange to have the bathroom sink separated from the toilet and the shower, but that is something that my suite-mates and myself were able to get over after a couple hours or so.

I am currently staying at homewood suites. My is quite large with a king size bed and a small livingroom and a kitchen. It makes you feel like home. The location is very strategic, about 15 minutes walk to the convention centre,20 minutes walk to the white house,10 minutes walk to national geography museum, and 20-30 minutes to the national mall and smithsonian museums. There are lots of restaurants and bars around here.If you are too exhausted to walk, you can always rent a bike to go around.

we stayed here for a week. The wife and three teenaged children. While the 2 room 'suite' was tight, it more than served our purposes. The hot breakfast was ok 2 mornings, surprisingly good 3 mornings, and bad 2 mornings. They also have a social in the afternoons where they serve complimentary draft beer and wines. The rooms were very clean, housekeeping unobtrusive, and the front desk staff were outstanding. If you are in that part of DC and need a family hotel, I highly recommend this one.

We had the large suite (which looks much bigger online) that has a full size refrigerator and a small compact kitchen with everything you would need for an extended stay. I did not cook but a Whole Foods is very close for whatever you would need. There is not a cocktail lounge but many close by. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the National ... Read more

Hotel is in a great location. I did the digital vh claim but when I arrived, the room was unavailable. The next room I was given had a sizable chunck of the bottom of the tub missing and it appeared rusty. The next room they gave me had no issues. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The evening social and breakfast foods were pretty good. Overall a great experience.

I stayed here on a business trip and it was a decent stay. Its 'functional'. The rooms are large -- suites -- with 2 double beds and small living room/kitchenette. It was functional and clean, even if basic. Fold out couch as well. The bathroom was somewhat dated but clean. Bed and linen quality was fair and I had a decent night of sleep there. Nice hotel, great front desk and concierge staff. Weeknight reception a little lacking with 2 wine/2 beer selection only and meager food, sometimes nothing the kids will like. Nothing at all on thanksgiving. Not what you would expect from a Hilton brand, others at the hotel voiced the same concerns. Breakfast was always hot, variable and plentiful. Rooms were very warm at all times. Set the thermostat to 67 but it never made it under 70
