This was a great Hotel. I think I got special treatment because it was my birthday, but it was worth it! This hotel is pricey. It is also near all of the DC sights. If you are willing to park your car and walk, you can see all the DC monuments, museums, and everything else that DC has to offer. We were able to explore, and just have a great time, always coming back to the warm staff at the hotel, great service and just a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks so much for helping me celebrate a great 35!

We stayed in this only one night so we haven't used all the hotel's facilities. However, I can confirm that the room was very spacious and beds were cosy (well, they were supposed to be cosy as the hotel is not the cheapest alternative in Washington!). The staff was also extremely helpful and nice. That's all I remember.

First time I finally found a decent business hotel in DC ! Got a room on floor 6, facing the street. Beware ongoing roadworks (for which they equipped rooms with ear plugs). Room was big, spacious, clean and furniture was nice. Bathroom equally clean, roomy and relatively new. Decent choice of body products (shampoo, body lotion and shower gel from Neutrogena). Check-in/out quite swift. Empty frigo-bar (but was given free bottled water at reception). Pretty basic breakfast, with limited health... Read more

This hotel is in the downtown area of DC. If you want to be able to walk and do all the sight seeing in the area it is perfect. Government workers would have a great time here as well. Walking is awesome and uber is available so getting around isn't an issue. The breakfast cost is VERY high but there are other places very close to the hotel that offer a better deal. Security is outstanding here. I highly recommend it!

The only reason I have not given this hotel a 'poor' rating is that our room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. This is a very basic hotel, not the standard which you expect of a Hilton. The staff seemed very poorly trained - the woman on reception could not even find the hotel location on the map. We had to work at getting a smile out of the staff in the restaurant. Shouldn't they be smiling and welcoming? The restaurant itself is not great and the food was standard. After day... Read more

Service was good. The street noise is loud in the lower floors so ask for a room higher up. Bring your own pillow because the ones provided were way too soft. The restaurant was ok if you're too tired to walk around. Overall, a good value for DC.

The hotel is located perfectly to get to most of the attractions in the city. Museums and memorials are walking distance away. Plenty of good places to eat in the area. Enjoyed a morning run through several memorials which made the stay that much more special.

The good- Front Desk and bell staff great! Always nice to hear "welcome back" when we return from being out! Bed very comfortable...thrilled to find a choice of both standard and king size pillows! My husband LOVED the cookies in the lobby! Not great- wallpaper peeling in the bathroom...never could understand why hotels don't just paint the walls. Easier to keep clean. We had issues with toilet one day and called it in. Apparently nothing was done. Had to call a second day. Toilet paper empty c... Read more

We were in town for Memorial Day weekend and this hotel was a very good choice. It's a short walk to some great restaurants, the White House, the Mall, some of the major monuments and the Smithsonian. It's also right next to a Metro station for travel to anywhere beyond your walking range. The rooms were very clean and well appointed, as you would expect from the Hilton brand, and all service was very good. We would happily stay here again.

We stay at a lot of Hiltons and big city hotels and this room (612) was by far the roomiest. Near elevator and ice. Friendly professional staff. Iced water available all day, cookies at night, and coffee in morning. Metro us across the street as well as several sandwich shops nearby.

From the first day to the last, the staff -- front desk clerks, room cleaning staff, dining room waitstaff, everyone -- were SO personable and friendly, I almost couldn't believe it! The hotel was very clean, safe, and easily accessible to everything we had planned. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else, if we ever return to Washington DC. The only things I can fault this hotel for are the slow draining sink and small pool size. Our inside room was amazingly quiet, room to room, thankf... Read more

We're walkers when we travel so being 10 minutes walking from the White House, 25 minutes to the National Mall, close to great restaurants, and across the street from a metro stop meant this hotel holds the key to exploring DC. Walking distance to city center, most of attractions. You have empty refrigurator to fill in. Room is clean, but did not feel good about the carpet. Have coffee and cookies in the entrance during morning hours. Cookies were delicious. You pay extra for breakfast but did not feel like it's worth it.

Jose even said when I announced were only staying one night "you will want to stay one more day"...and we did! The concierge , Byran was amazing! They were very accommodating and brought me an extra mattress for my son to use on the floor. It was right down the road from the National Mall which was great. Well .. not EXACTLY like sleeping in an airplane. The bed is lots more comfortable than the average airline seat. But the NOISE is very much the same. If you are unlucky enough to stay there in summer, and even more unlucky to get one of the many rooms that face the interior courtyard where the property has its main air conditioning units, well, you will be treated to a CONSTANT DRONE at a noise level very much comparable with trying to sleep while on a transatlantic flight. I have to say the location was great, but the service is pretty poor. I traveled in with the ownership of my company. To make the stay simple we booked under one name and then at check in we had our personal information switched over, or so we thought. My family stayed here fromJuly 1-3. My wife and I wanted to stay in the city so we could walk everywhere with the kids. We found the right place. We got a suite so the kids would have plenty of room. The view from the room was of other rooms in the building which was fine because we were hardly in the room. The hotel was very clean and quite. Very short walk to the Whitehouse! The pool was okay but pretty small. Parking after tax is around $50 per day. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

It is literally across the street from MacPherson for the blue, silver and orange lines and a 5 minute walk to the red line at Metro Center (which can get you to Union Station and the zoo).
