Embassy Suites will never dissapoint. They exceed your expectations in customer care and service. This hotel is probably the best of all the hotels I have ever stay in. The restaurant is amazing, the staff is amazing and the overall experience is amazing. Blows all the other hotels away. its like everyone in this hotel is an owner. They take great pride in their jobs and do amazing things to make your stay the best

We had a great stay here. From the time we arrived until our checkout, customer service was outstanding. Valet parking, bell captain, front drsk manager, restaurant people were all very helpful-trying to make our stay successful, Food at restaurant was very good also. Would definately stay there again and highly recommend!

Stayed here for a wedding near the Mall. The location was perfect, and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean, and we enjoyed the cocktail hour and complementary breakfast (although it was very busy on a Sunday morning).

The location of the hotel is excellent but our room had no hot water all day we were forced to take a freezing shower! The wifi was completely dead in the bedroom. The breakfast was more of a cafeteria no egg whites and mostly processed. The happy hour was nice for a drink but the snacks were sad chips and dip everyday one day there was a few veggies. Both could use modernization. The rooms were spacious and clean.

We mostly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We traveled with our 3 children (ages 7, 4, 1) and used the swimming people every afternoon after sightseeing. It was great to let the kids burn off some energy! The hotel is located near the Smithsonian-it was an easy walk to the National Museum of Natural History and the National Museum of American History (less than a mile to either museum). No matter if you just arrived as new staff at this classy hotel or have been there for over 10 years, the people are just plain nice. In a city, you would expect, brusque and rude, almost like the staff is doing you a favor. Here from Sameer/Robbi, Natali or forgive me the new GM, nothing but smiles and pleasantries. We used the valet service but didn't bother with the car at all from the time we checked in until the time we left. There was a daily free buffet for breakfast. 6:30-9:30am Monday-Friday,6:30-10:30am Saturday and Sunday. This hotel is in an excellent location. Only a maximum of 3-4 blocks for White House, Macy's, Metro Station, etc. The Smithsonian was only a $6.00 Uber ride away! Wonderful breakfast included in the stay. (Try and avoid the last hour as it can get a bit busier.) The pool water and spa looked a bit to 'murky' for our liking, so we gave that a miss. The check in staff were very friendly!

Rooms at this, as at most embassy suites, are a very good size and quality. Breakfast is great esp the custom made omelets. Happy hour reception in nothing special but still a nice addition. It's walkable to everything a tourist wants in d.c. Service is ok. In the end, the price is very big for a chain hotel.

Outstanding property - Great service, food, room as well as hotel location. Walking distance from many key locations in Washington, D.C. All of the above are things that I've experienced acrossed multiple Hilton properties / chains across the globe. This trip was another reinforcement of why I would prefer a Hilton chain over others.

Two adults and two tweets spent five nights here recently: ROOMS- excellent two room suites with a fridge, safe, microwave and plenty of space, especially for a city hotel. This hotel was wonderful. Five diamond staff and cleanliness. Rooms were great, although at night we heard noise from next door room (this was the only negative). But we walked to so many sights and restaurants from the hotel and there are fabulous shops nearby. Kids swam in the indoor pool every afternoon and loved it. There is a manager's reception in the early evening for adults (drinks!) and kids (snacks! sometimes video games!). I would love to stay here again.

About a 25 minute brisk walk to several Smithsonian museums, Archives, etc. Breakfast is great with lots of hot and cold choices and every staff member we came in contact with was pleasant. Like all hotels in D.C area, parking is expensive, $43/day. Plus the typical D.C traffic, I leave my car at a metro station $5/day and take metro rail for the rest of my trip. During busy summer time or holiday season, this hotel is very popular, so have to wait after 3 PM to check in, instead of wait at hotel lobby, one can leave the luggage at front desk and come back later. Was here with my wife 5 years ago, but this time brought the kids to see DC over fall break. Hotel was pretty much the same. Nothing wrong, all things in fine order, just starting to seem a little dated. Plenty of room for 5 with the two double beds and fold out couch in Room 1417. (Key Note: be sure to get an even number room facing the front of the hotel or you'll be looking straight into the building behind--about 10 feet away. See photo.) Nice bathroom w tub/shower. The hotel is in a good location and has a welcoming entrance. We were in a Premium Suite on the 15th floor which was well maintained and clean. It had some signs of wear but nothing major. Snacks were complimentary in the premium suites and the hotel offers an amazing complimentary hot breakfast buffet and cooked to order. There is also a 2 hour managers reception from 5.30 with a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and some nibbles. These are nice perks when travelling wit... Read more

I am an HHonors Diamond member with more than 160 nights in Hilton family properties over the past three years. I stayed at this property while on a family sightseeing trip to DC in July 2016. This is a newer property in a convenient location. As always, Embassy Suites are great properties for family trips - roomy suites with pullout sofas, good complimentary breakfast, and good service. This property checked all of the boxes for our weekend trip. We would stay here again.

This property is located on the northeast side of the city a short walk from Chinatown and a 5 minute walk from the metro center stop with access to all lines throughout the city. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is superb, professional and seem to care about their clientele. Extended happy hour unlike other hotels that offer this feature. Restaurant on site. Short walk to all DC attractions. Rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, sink, coffee pot

Just finished a 3 night stay and was pleased with the hotel and staff. Close to where I needed to be, reasonably priced for DC, and a very capable and competent hotel staff. I like the "concept" of the free breakfast at Embassy Suites, but usually find the experience less than satisfying. Because this hotel doesn't have the large atrium, breakfast was provided in a restaurant that had lots of choices, plenty of seating, and a better dining atmosphere. I come to DC often and will most likely ... Read more

Overall, my staff interactions were lovely. Breakfast was decent. Housekeeping and maintaining a clean as well as healthy environment are major issues at this location. The guest floors all smelled dank and dreary; the laundry facilities were abominable and infested with drain flies. Needs updating and renovation. Reports are that renovation occurred recently, but I could not ascertain any differences during my recent stay from my previous stay three years back.

The staff is wonderful and are always friendly and take the extra time to make sure you're comfortable and well taken care of. You get to experience a great complimentary breakfast, the highlight of which is being greeted at the door by an exceptional employee named Nunu. She is sweet and makes you feel right at home!!

I've lived in Washington and visit regularly. So I know whereof I speak. And this hotel is my new favorite. It's in an excellent location for the convention center, museums, downtown, you name it. But, also, two bedrooms and a living room mean you can stretch out and not be on top of each other. And finally, the free breakfast is a TRUE breakfast with made-to-order omelets. Overall, I'd say great for business, sightseeing and re-connecting with DC.

this is a good hotel to stay if you are touring DC. The hotel is located in downtown, near Chinatown. It has many restaurants near by, it is in close distance to a Metro station, and in walking distance from many of the tourist attractions (I used the metro just for Arlington and the airport). The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good (according to the Embassy Suites standard)

The location was close to just about everything including even a walk to the National Mall. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was great and breakfast included is always a plus.
