I stayed at the Embassy Suites for five (5) nights due to business travel in DC. I am so glad I chose this hotel. The stay was phenomenal - from the cleanliness of the rooms to the amazing hospitality. The room has a great layout for business travelers / extended stay customers. Separate bedroom with a nice sitting area, desk and wet bar. The daily breakfast buffet was a great way to start the mornings, with the evening "free" alcoholic happy hour from 5:30-7:30 a nice way to end a long day... Read more

If you're looking for a more reasonably priced option when visiting DC without giving up quality this is an excellent choice. 15-20 min on the Metro takes you right to the center of downtown. Pros: Rooms are immaculately maintained, and the two room suites and free hot breakfasts are a great staple of the brand. We also found the staff to be extremely accommodating and helpful. Pool and workout area exceeds expectations for an urban, mid-tier hotel. Cons: The good and bad news is that the iss... Read more

It was completely adequate. Really, completely adequate. Totally and completely adequate. It would have been better than totally and completely adequate had the guy at the desk bothered to tell us the hours for breakfast. If he had done that we wouldn't have missed breakfast. Other than that it was totally and completely adequate.

My daughter and I stayed at your establishment from May 22- May 24th and I mentioned that my daughter was celebrating her 14th birthday. In the middle of a busy Saturday morning breakfast period in the cafeteria with a generally very efficient staff, I needed Fidel. I needed Fidel because I spilled most of a full cup of coffee when I fumbled my Kindle, and thereby spattered the greater area of floor, and some cabinetry, around where all were taking coffee. To the rescue, and with pure good cheer and reassurance came Fidel, fully equipped to clean the spill, cabinets, etc. and to make me feel far less guilty about the whole affai... Read more

This is the second time me and my family stayed here again. I love this hotel. Wonderful employees who go far and beyond to make you feel at home. They have a happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30pm for 2hrs. The bartenders were great but I would like to specifically mention Raja the Lead bartender at Willies. He's a great bartender and really does his job well. Embassy Suites is located in an integrated development with shops and restaurants and is unusual in that the hotel part is 'open' in regard to the rest of the block so it is sometimes difficult to know where the public area ends and the hotel begins. However, the accommodation is good and as indicated in the title this consists of the bedroom and bathroom plus a big lunge area with working and leisure space. It also has the feel of an upmarket 'aparthotel' as one can do one's own catering to a ... Read more

Location of the hotel is excellent with proximity to Metro and endless shops nearby. The room are a generous size and easily accommodated three of us. I lived in DC for years and now travel to my office downtown 4-6 times a year. This trip my mom and three kids joined me--we chose a 2 double bed suite with queen pullout sofa to accommodate all of us. We won't be back. I gave it two stars only due to friendly front desk staff and the convenience of self-parking for half of the typical city rate (26 dollars/night). Our room was so damp, no AC helped. Check in was very fast and all of our questions regarding restaurants and the metro were answered by a very friendly gentleman at the front desk. We loved this Embassy Suites hotel for many reasons. It was very clean, and staff was great, It is attached to a nice small mall area with a variety of shops and restaurants. The metro line (red line) was also accessed at the lower level. The only criticism was the hotel restaurant didn't cater to kids, but the Cheesecake Factory did! Great pool for the kids to chill, and for parents to get in the hot tub after a long day of walking in DC! I would stay here again,

Our family of four used this excellent hotel as our "home base" for a week stay in the DC Metro area. Having Friendship Heights Metro station under the hotel was awesome. We started each day with a great breakfast at the hotel, then took a Metro into the city or zoo, etc. The staff was way beyond great- warm, friendly, helpful. I would not hesitate to come to this hotel again in future. Highly recommended.

I have stayed here many times and it is typically a good value and meets expectations. This trip I was placed in a room where outside construction work commenced prior to 5AM on the building the hotel was in and encountered a mouse outside the elevators on the top floor. My additional disappointment was in the seeming indifference to the issue from the staff. This is not typical of my experience at this hotel, but gives me cause for concern booking here in the future.

Mall stores, CVS, World Market, Metro Station access made navigating the area and visiting the Capital's historical sites very enjoyable. Pleasant staff, nice... Read more

This was my second stay at this Embassy Suites Hotel and, once again, I was very pleased with hotel. Love the amenities. Missed the happy hour, but the free breakfast was great. Large, modern, clean rooms with a luxurious bed. No complaints.

Ricardo provided great customer service everyday that I went to the breakfast area (willies bar) . He ways willing to help, very cordial and smiling. Ricardo went above and beyond on my last morning at the hotel. He saw me looking sad because I dont eat pork. Therefore I didnt have any meat. So I made due. Then, I aaw oatmeal and it was not hot. He came over to my table and asked was d everything okay. I told him that I had to adjust but I was ok. I asked if there were grits. He told m... Read more

This Embassy Suites location proved to be convenient for all aspects of our trip. We enjoyed the room, pool, free breakfast and the shops. With the Metro Station on the property, it was easy to move in and out of DC. It was a pleasure to leave the car in the parking garage. The front desk was attentive and helpful.

This past weekend Nov. 10-12. My daughter, brother and I stayed at this location. The hotel was very convenient to the metro station. The Restaurants ands stores within the property was so helpful as my brother was using a wheel chair. The breakfast was wonderful. I loved the oatmeal. My brother and daughter raved about the omelets. We had dinner at Willie's restaurant. A waiter Richard was extremely helpful with breakfast. Embassy Suites is a quality brand and you expect good service and things that work. The staff is great, the system is flawed. Phones in the room; still a mystery to me. You should be able to press 0 and get the front desk or someone. They operate under the stupid system of assigning rooms in advance so even if a room like yours is available, you have to wait for the room they assigned to you, Get your act together Hilton. If we pay premium prices, we expect better than mediocre results. As a... Read more

Liked the decor and cleanliness of the room. One of the better Embassy Suites we have stayed in. Integrated with the Chevy Chase Pavilion Mall. Good breakfast, lots of people and line waiting on Weekends. Great cigar lounge, Civil, in Mall.

We stayed here to be near a family event, but it turned out to be great for getting to the National Mall. The Metro is in the building. Uber is a 30 minute ride to the mall. Starbucks is also in the building. Breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Washington, D.D.

Great place to stay, good value and good service. Book through Hilton Honours and get free wifi and complimentry happy hour or two!! Excellent!! :) We got Half price parking as we stayed for 5 days. Although a little way out it is located on top of a metro station, which gave great access to surounding areas. Nice shopping mall, with a starbucks just below reception. Chose this hotel since I was trying to keep our family trip to DC affordable. Super easy access to all the sites via the Metro which is a quick elevator ride from the lobby. The hotel is inside a shopping center and surrounded by tons of other shopping areas/restaurants. Easy destination and great to walk to dinner/shopping after a long day in DC. The 2 hour happy hour was a favorite for the parents, as was the huge all you can eat breakfast every day. Rooms were clean/nice/spacious. Staff was f... Read more

Another great stay at an amazing hotel. Love the location and the staff at this hotel. Honestly, we originally choose it based on the location and we came back for the staff. They are so helpful and friendly. My son went to the front desk for change (he is 7). He was asked a couple questions about how many quarters in a dollar and such and then he came back with coloring books and crayons as well as his change and he kept talking about the "really cool guy who helped him with math!" We spent two nights at the Embassy Suites in Chevy Chase. The rooms are clean and very well appointed. The service is excellent and, with a Hilton Honors membership, we received an excellent made-to-order breakfast. In addition, they had a free happy hour in the evenings. The hotel is a great value for the area. We will definitely stay there again.

This Embassy Suites is very conveniently located in an enclosed shopping mall with easy access to the DC Metro. The hotel is very clean and well-run and is one of the best Embassy Suites at which we have stayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful and seemed to take pride in helping guest feel welcome. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Convenient location to the Chevy Chase area with shopping nearby but overpriced and wifi kept kicking out, low water pressure in room, tub drained slowly. Breakfast similar to the Microtel where we stayed on drive up from FL, but with a waterfall behind front desk.

My daughter is an amputee in a wheel chair and everyone goes out of his/her way to help both of us.
