The Courtyard by Marriott was very accommodating. The room was very nice, clean, had plenty of towels and the coffee was terrific. The staff was extremely friendly and genuinely wanted are stay to be comfortable. The hotel was just a few blocks from the baseball stadium and had plenty of entertainment, restaurants & a pharmacy within walking distance. My booking got messed up, partly my fault for failure to communicate, but Felicia at the front desk handled it smoothly and efficiently - arranged lodging at another nearby Courtyard, got me a taxi - and paid for it- comped me breakfast, patted my hand and kept me calm- She handed me off to Chris at the Courtyard Convention Center, who was fully apprised of my situation, quickly checked me in without any fuss. We stayed here for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. The hotel is located directly across the street from a metro stop so it is very convenient to get anywhere in DC from. The hotel is clean, the lobby area was nice with two different areas to hang in with other guests. One area was a bar with food as well. The other area was with a small food/snack bar with tables. This is our go to hotel when my dad who is paralyzed. The staff are beyond helpful and they always remember my dad by name. For the last few years he has called this his DC home. They even have a device that allows those able to transfer out of a wheel chair to enjoy the pool. We've traveled many places and this hotel and its staff are by far the best we've experienced as a family with disabilities. I also recommend to colleagues and business associates.

The staff is totally professional and the rooms are nice. I was back there for 3 weeks and they took care of me during the entire stay. Specifically Esdras, Yesemia and Jonnese are the type of employees that any hotel or hospitality service would be lucky to have working for them!

Baseball season this hotel is awesome. Clean rooms, great beds. Friendly staff! Metro station is within eye view. if you are feeling good about the location is because you are correct. It was very quiet at night. We had a great time in DC and you get a good view on the capitol building at night.

The hotel is nice and clean. A lot of construction taking place in the surroundings, but was never a problem. We were out during the day visiting the sites and was never bothered by noise during the evenings and nights. Super convenient if you are planning to go to a Nats game. Moving to and from the hotel with Uber was really easy.

Me and my family had a rough trip from California to Washington, DC with delayed and cancelled flights. When we arrived to Capitol Hill/Navy Yard very late, we were greeted and checked in by Felicia, the night auditor and she assured us that we would enjoy our stay. I stayed at this hotel for the weekend. Checked in via the mobile app the day before arriving at the hotel. Check in was fine on Friday evening. For a weekend (2 nights) out we chose this location, which is perfectly located less than 1 mile from the major attractions like The Mall, and its many attractions surrounding it. I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Washington Navy yard for business in June 2016. The location can't be beat-literally steps to the Metro station (only 3 metro stops from the National Mall!), lots of restaurants nearby, with a CVS nearby that had grab and go sandwiches and salads as well as everything you needed. Stayed here for a couple nights while in DC for work. It is only a block from the Navy Yard Metro stop and a few blocks from Nationals Park. The room was nice and included a fridge. It's within walking distance of the river and a lot of restaurants.

Upon entering the hotel at 3am we were greeted by someone at the front desk right away. He was friendly but when asked about the parking situation he told me where it was but did not tell me we had to pay and receive a pass until I got there and called from the lot. I really like the location and environment of the hotel. i specifically seek Marriott properties whenever i travel because i know the quality will be there. i want to give a shout out to Yasmeen who helped me at check-in. We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Washington Capital Hill/ Navy Yard. Yesemia Jonesse at The Bistro was an excellent bartender. Friendly, gracious and a valuable employee of this hotel. Her friendly smile and attitude along with the excellent staff at the check-in/check-out counter as well as the spotless room are what keep us coming back to this hotel. We can't wait to book our next visit!!

The hotel Lobby air conditioning was broken but the front desk team was not frazzled. Long time employees, so everything was handled well. Check in and lodging was great. Even had the room available early .....Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I stayed here for two weeks for business. The staff was very friendly and the location was great and safe. Close to the metro, walking distance to a ton of restaurants and sights. Most importantly, it was clean. That's key to my good review. In addition to be close to the metro, there were always cabs lined up outside, so if you need a cab, you never have to wait. Clean rooms, friendly staff. I will stay here again.

It was a very nice and convenient place place to stay in Washington DC without having to pay an astronomical price. The room is well up to the usual standard of its class and the location is convenient enough for a nice gentle stroll to the Smithsonian Institutes and other famous landmarks in the DC. For those who do not want to pay for hotel prices for food an drinks, there is a nice little shopping center at the corner of 4th St SE and M Street SE, about 5 minutes walk away.

I was impressed with the great location, the friendly atmosphere, and the helpful staff. It was close to the United States Department of Transportation, where I was scheduled to attend a meeting. It was within walking distance to many interesting sights. When I am in Washington, DC,I look forward to always staying at the Courtyard Marriott. We arrived from Baltimore on the train into DC and took an Uber from the station. I think it was around $12. Found out later the hotel is very close to the Navy Yard/Ballpark Metro station so you can use the subway to get within a few minutes walk of the hotel. Booked this hotel on a business trip to DC as the Nats were in town. Right next door to the ballpark. Hotel itself was as expected for Marriot Courtyard brand. Enjoyed my stay. Only note for Marriot rewards elite members is that there is no breakfast buffet....I was provided a 10$ credit to the cafe in lieu which was fine by me.

Perfect location if Nationals Game is the tripÔ??s priority, but not as convenient as other locations for sightseeing the Mall on foot. Though a quick $7-$10 Uber ride puts you right in the middle of the attractions. It is located within a block of several restaurants and a CVS. We got this hotel with friends because it was close to the Marine Parade - 10 minute walk. My friends are elite members, and they received nothing...no water, no special service. We were disappointed that the only way to get coffee, was to buy a cup at the Starbucks in the lobby. Same for breakfast. We stayed at this location because it was close to the Nationals ballpark. It also is very close to the metro station. First of all, I booked a king suite for 4 people, it comes with a king size bed and a pullout sofa for one. One of the kids slept on the floor. The room was spacious with 2 televisions. This was our 1st time visiting, DC. I'm traveling with my husband and my son. My son just graduated HS, he requested a trip to DC for his gift. Spent the night after attending a Nationals' baseball game, and property is near my office, so very nice commute. Convenient location to Nationals Park, Navy Yard Metro subway station, Capitol Hill. I had a GREAT front desk experience especially due to Yasmeen Mohamed! Friendly, outgoing and she was able to accommodate my wishes for a room in a quiet location. It was sure nice to fly across the USA and see a friendly helpful front desk staff person. A hotel's best advertisement is often the people working there. Yasmeen rocked the place! Stayed at this hotel for two nights while attending a concert at the ballpark. The location was very good. It was clean and the staff very helpful. The CVS is down the street if drinks or food needed and walking distance to many places to eat!

Had dinner at the Courtyard restaurant. The chef, Ronnie, made us an excellent meal and was a delight. There were three of us there and the meal came out very quickly and expertly made. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a good meal at a good price.

Went for a quick visit for a family event. Yasmeen made it a memorable trip for the kids with her kindness and willingness to help. Location close to many restaurants and things to do as well. Wouldn't hesitate to come back on another trip back to DC.

Hotel is only a few blocks to the Navy Yard or ball park. The metro is half a block away. Hotel has a bar. Glass of wine pricey, should have happy hour prices. I had the ribs for dinner and it was ok. Sauce should be bbq not just ketchup. Breakfast had line so was slow. The next morning I made coffee in my room Room was comfortable.

Each hotel worker was excellent. Esdras was the best and took care of our evening drinks every night. It was a great place to stay for a business trip. Close to the Nats Stadium. Rooms are immaculate.

Several of my colleagues and I stayed at the Marriott Navy Yard Courtyard 9/12-15, 2016. We arrived around happy hour after long flights from Seattle very hungry. The hotel bar has $5 happy hour snacks, hot wings (3 types) chips and salsa, and flat bread pizza. Arrived at the hotel in the evening and was greeted by Nathan Johnson - front office supervisor. I was really impressed with Nathan's customer service; he made us feel right at home. Marriott is fortunate to have Nathan on staff - Bravo! As for the hotel - it is perfectly situated for both work and play. Really enjoyed the proximity to the Anacostia trail and restaurants. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Room 408 was nice and clean. Lobby does have a bar and food/store which was a plus and it is just across the street from the navy yard metro stop which was very convenient! I would stay here again.

I have allergies and asthma and have gotten sick from exposure to feather pillows at Marriott in the past. I ended up an antibiotics and steroids. I am very specific now that I need a feather free room. I checked in earlier then immediately left. I came back to my room to find that 2 of the pillows that duck feathers.
