We would stay here again - no doubt. It's not amazing. It's not fancy. But it is rock solid. The service is good. There is valet parking. The rooms are clean if a little bit dated. It's not right in the museum area or the attraction area, but it's a ten to fifteen minute walk to most which was fine: about 15 to the Smithsonian Air and Space via the awesome sculpture park. Difficult to say much because it's just a perfectly OK hotel with a great value proposition.

Our stay was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles from everyone working there. They made it a point to remember our names and they always greeted us when we left or came back to the hotel. I cannot remember his name but one of the valet person was super kind, he had a bit of a southern accent. I wish I could remember his name because he was the first person that greeted us when we arrived and he certainly made a lasting impression. I have done my fair share of tr... Read more

Great location. Walking distance to the National Mall, museums, etc. Metro subway is at its door step. Easy ride to and from Reagon airport via subway. $15-20 taxi from Reagon airport. $10-15 to Reagon airport. Less than 15 minutes ride. Comfortable bed. Nice, fluffy and warm down comforter. Complimentary "USA today" and WSJ newspaper in the lobby. Friendly and helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay, with most locations a pleasant walk. About 15 min walk to the conference center. Easy access to the monuments and the smithsonian museums. The rooms were nicer than average. Service was pleasant. Great food trucks outside for quick meals.

Have traveled to DC numerous times over the past 20 years and the Marriott at Metro Center has become my preferred DC hotel. While the property has always been well maintained, clean, quiet and centrally located it is the staff that has always made it stand out. I've always enjoyed the smile, welcome and giggle that you get when you interact with everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping people. I have always felt welcome. Additionally the property is located nearly on top of the Metro's... Read more

We just stayed at the WONDERFUL Metro Center for a week. My husband was upgraded to Concierge Level. Our room on the 14th Floor was fabulous. Everyone from the Bellmen, to Front Desk Staff, to Housekeeping, to the Attendents in the Concierge Lounge were always so friendly, so kind and very attentive. The hotel has an AMAZING location. Walk to EVERYTHING; metro, museums, restaurants and shops. We will be BACK!!! My GRADE of this HOTEL......A+++++

I stayed here one night recently. Your typical Marriott, hotel restaurant in the lobby, Starbucks also. Nice staff. Access to concierge lounge, which was ok, nothing special. The best part is the location close to a major metro stop and lots and lots of restaurants and the Verizon Center, museums, etc. Room was a bit stuffy when we went in and we couldn't open the windows to air out. Slightly dated. Wall paper in the bathroom peeling under the sink.

This hotel is in an ideal location for getting around to see the sites of DC. The metro stops right on the corner and it is an easy walk to the White House, Mall, Smithsonean, etc. Check-in/out was fast and easy. All staff (front desk, housekeeping, door, etc.) were always attentive and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and up to date. Free wifi was a terrific bonus. In-room coffee maker was a treat for early mornings. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the area and I felt ver... Read more
