Stayed in this hotel for five days and have to say it was a really good experience. Staff is absolutely kind and solve all your doubts and questions. Rooms are spacious and clean (they also have a tiny coffee maker and mini fridge, yet no micro wave) but the elevator is so old that sometimes I felt scared of getting trapped in it. Location is outstanding if you want to visit the main DC attractions as many of them are walking distance and the metro station is literally 10 steps outside the hotel... Read more

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. The valets out front were amazing. They knew all of the uber drivers and could give reviews in the good and bad ones. The only bad thing I would say is that if you valet park, it does take quite awhile to get your car- 40 minutes for me. So call way ahead.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect. Got a great rate, which included wifi, through the Marriott site. Metro Center station is steps from the front door and on the blue line from National airport. 3 blocks from the White House and an easy walk down to the Mall. Several family/wallet friendly restaurants (McDonald's, Subway, Panera) close by and a Starbucks off the lobby.

We were here over Memorial Weekend 2016. Could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone went out of their way to make our family comfortable. Any thing we needed they took care of. If you go talk to Shria at the front desk. Marriott is lucky to have her. Our room was great. The food in the hotel is excellent. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Overall the hotel was very good. Room was spacious and clean. All the employees were very friendly and courteous. The room price was pretty good. The best thing was the location. Obviously as the name suggest the metro was right there but was an easy walk to the mall, museums, and Chinatown. Two drawbacks - the charge for the wifi and the valet parking. Wifi was an extra charge. Valet parking was $47 a day. There was plenty of parking at a lower price within walking distance. I was try a... Read more

We had a very nice experience staying here four nights. The staff was very welcoming. The rooms are spacious with good mattresses. The location is good...only a few blocks from Lafayette Park and the White House. Steps from the Metro Center if you are taking the subway. Short distance from a Walgreens. I like staying in this part of DC. We didn't have a car, so parking was not an issue. Did not try the pool, so no comments about that. I think that small refrigerators should come standard in the ... We visited DC for the first time. We stayed at this location because it was nearly centered around all the historical locations; many are in walking distance. The hotel is just a short ride from DCA. We used the Supershuttle to get there and was not very expensive. The hotel is clean, decor is nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I loved the view from my hotel. I would certainly stay here again. I can't wait to visit DC again. Every attraction was worth seeing. We were within 2... Read more

On a recent trip to DC for a professional meeting, I stayed at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center. A fortunate choice, as it turned out. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and extremely clean; hotel personnel were unfailingly courteous and helpful. I didnâ??t eat in the restaurant, but buffet breakfasts and lunches were provided at the meeting, and the food was very good. A big plus: The Marriott has a great location. Itâ??s a ten-minute walk to the White House, and many of the cityâ... Read more

We stayed 24 hours when we visited DC for a concert. The hotel was great! The room was very clean, the beds were quite comfortable, bedding was nice. Amenities were excellent. All staff were extremely kind. Would stay here again. Our room was on the front and it may have been a bit noisy (from the road) for some, so if you might be sensitive to that ask for a quieter room.

My daughter and 2 grandchildren had such a wonderful time in DC.My 2 year old granddaughter had a"melt down" in the lobby. Joseph came to the rescue. He gave her some stickers and later sent ice cream and cookies to our room for a snack. Hats off to the staff you all made our trip wonderful.

This hotel has a Metro stop on the same block and is just a 10 minute walk to the Museum of American History and the Museum of Natural History. The rooms were comfortable and clean and there was a Starbuck's in the lobby. I was on business but brought my teenage son along. He was able to go to the museums easily on his own and had a great time. The staff was great and made a point to remember our names and greet us each time we came or went.

You really can't beat the location for this hotel, you are about 5 blocks to the White House about 5 the other way to the National Mall and about 10 blocks to Capitol Hill. The staff here are really helpful, we were always taken care of and they fulfilled our requests when we asked to change rooms due to noisy neighbors. The one down side is the concierge lounge, it's on the small side and the offerings are quite limited. If in DC this is one of your best options.

Aloha, We took the Metro to the hotel from the airport and from the minute we met Neville the doorman we knew we had chosen by the perfect Hotel! His greeting was genuine, and it lasted our entire stay! Our check-in was super easy, and our room was ready to be checked in the morning, when we arrived, service was fast and we were off to our room. The bed and shower excellent to come back to after a long day of sightseeing! Metro right next door so excellent transportation everywhere, hotel was ... Read more

We stayed here for 4-night and shared a room with my sister for 2 of the nights. We had a room with two beds and were surprised at finding two full vs. queen-size beds. The hotel room was very comfortable nonetheless. The lobby for the hotel includes a Starbucks, but overall not very spacious. The hotel is located a few blocks east of the Whitehouse and is in good walking distance of the Mall and Museums. The hotel is right at the Metro Center so further access by train to the greater DC ar... Read more

This hotel is an excellent location. It is located very close to the Metro Center subway stop (an elevator is about 50 ft left (coming out) of the hotel entrance and an escalator is about another 50 ft away. It is two stops ($2.15) to the Smithsonian stop, or simply about a 20-25 minute walk to the national mall area. Near the hotel is plenty of shopping (Macy's across the street, a Dunkin Donuts, and a lot of other stores on F and G street. There is a Walgreen's just two blocks down the ro... Read more

My wife and I stayed at the Washington Marriott Metro Center for 3 nights during a recent visit to DC. I picked the hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews and its location, which is walking distance from the National Mall and most of the DC attractions and restaurants we were interested in. Overall, our experience there was very good. Our room on the 11th floor was spacious and very nice, and pretty quiet The bathroom was very large, with grab bars, very bright lighting, but no place to hang towels... Read more

I was part of a large group of performers at the 2016 Smithsonian Folklife Festival and we chose to stay at the Marriott at Metro Center instead of the hotel provided by the Smithsonian because it was a better price and a much better location. We couldn't be happier with that decision. The hotel is close to many museums and the Mall so it was easy for us to see everything we wanted. The rooms are very nice and well kept. The best part of the hotel, however is the staff. Every staff person from t... Read more

I stayed here with my husband and stepson over the 4th of July weekend. The location is great if you want to use the metro but if you plan to walk to the sites, you will be doing a LOT of walking. The pool is small and was filled with balls of hair floating around. Valet parking is $55 per day, which is ridiculous. If it's a weekend, holiday, or evening, find yourself a street spot and you'll be fine - they don't check the meters at those times. But he sure to feed the meter by 7:00 Monday morni... Read more

I have been traveling to DC for the past few months and have to say this restaurant not only has amazing food (especially the Brick Oven Crab Cakes and the Spinach Kale) but the service is the best I have seen in any Marriott. Yodit and Chris at the bar know the menu inside and out, upon telling them I like spicy food, they immediately had three different hot sauces and a delicious Srirache sauce in front of me! I would highly recommend this place for the service and of course the food!

This hotel is conveniently located near the Metro Center subway station and the National Mall where most of the attractions are located (10 min walking distance to the White House). There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Valet parking is very expensive (about $55), but you should find it easy to find other affordable parking garages around the area. BTW, there is a Starbucks in the hotel, and we got 3 free drinks by living in this hotel, which is very nice.

This was a great location with easy metro access and just a few blocks walk to White House or National Mall. Metro/subway made it easy getting to Capitol, Smithsonian, and Dupont Circle, but you could walk. I found this to be a typical full service Marriott, with nice staff, comfortable beds and a club lounge. The restaurant/bar has happy hour and the eats are pretty good in there too. We took the metro from Reagan right to the Hotel, although taxi is only about $15. Note Metro does not stop... Read more

Spent three nights recently, the hotel was flawless and service was exceptional, especially front desk and doorman Joe! Joe greeted us warmly upon checking in, and remembered us throughout our stay, always asking what we'd done and engaging our kids in conversation. We quickly acclimated to the metro and used to it get all over town. We really enjoyed the lovely saltwater swimming pool after long hot days of touring too. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed here for 6 nights for a conference. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a metro stop and within walking distance of the White House, the Mall and China Town. The room was clean and spacious and the gym was well equipped. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions quickly and courteously. I did not eat in the hotel restaurant as there are many restaurants in the area for you to choose from. Please note, however, that if you arrive late, room service stops a... Read more
