The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. As soon the women's march was announced, the room rates doubled but I can't really blame them for that, everyone did it. When they realized how much we paid, they did give us a nice suite instead of the regular room we thought we were getting. The hotel is pretty far away from the White House and Museums but by Uber, it was only about $6 a trip and the Metro was very close to the hotel.

I travel for a living and the banquet food at the Marriott Wardman Park is some of the best I have ever had. Chef Abdellah and Chef Beverly and their team do an amazing job. Their attention to special meal request goes above and beyond. It is always a pleasure to visit this wonderful hotel.

I stayed here for a conference in the hotel, which is convenient to the Metro. Construction is going on, and it was dark when we arrived, so we didn't see the hotel and ended up walking around it for several blocks before we found the back door. Better signage would have been helpful. The property is enormous, with several entrances and exits, which put you on different streets. Be sure to have clear directions if you are walking to lunch or dinner, and watch for landmarks so you can find your w... Read more

There was a great price on this hotel of $99 for my overnight trip last Sat. The other hotels on TripAdvisor were markedly higher. This hotel is mostly a conference type, large, clean & well maintained older hotel. The rooms are comfortable & roomy in a park like setting right at the Woodly park metro stop & zoo. The area is in a residential neighborhood so it is quiet & overnight street parking but only park on the street on weekends as there is a 2 hr limit during the week. There are a ton of... Read more

Just did a five-day summit program related to the inauguration. As such, I was not involved in booking or payment and did not experience a lot of the amenities there. I did not eat at the restaurants (I think there are two and I heard they were "good but expensive"), but we had catered meals in a large dining hall for our program those were amazing. There is also like a small food store with some grab-and-go options and a gift shop with souvenirs. Oh, and there is a Metro station just down the h... Read more

I stayed at the Marriott Wardman Park for the inauguration. The hotel is nice and clean the staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Smithsonian Zoo, and a whole host of restaurants. There is a metro just down the hill from the hotel as well. The location is great for seeing our nation's capital.

The lobby of this hotel is huge and has amazing space for gathering, relaxing, socializing. We ate brunch there and dinner at the bar which was very good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is tree-lined and residential but an easy metro ride to the Mall (Metro is right by the hotel.) You can easily walk to the National Zoo and cool restaurants in close-by neighborhoods.

While we had a great room and able to rest the two nights we were there, I was not aware before arriving of the $50 per night parking (valet, $45 for self). And, when we checked out we had to wait twenty minutes for the valet to get our car. Only one person was working with a line of folks waiting for cars. For those prices it seems they could afford more staff.

We stayed here during a week in DC right around Christmas time, so the city and the hotel were overall pretty quiet, and the rate was very low (so I was unsure what to expect). The room we had was recently updated and was quite comfortable. The Bathroom is a touch small, but nowhere near a deal breaker. The hotel associates we dealt with were great. The hotel is located very close to the Woodley Park / Adam Morgan Metro station and is just a few blocks away from the national zoo. Near the hotel ... Read more
