I spent four days in this Marriott beauty at a Conference. Other hotel chains could learn a great deal from their service and the quality provided. The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with everything needed for an extended stay. I was totally impressed by the prompt and consistent housekeeping with zero mistakes. Stayed 4 nights at this wonderful property for a business conference. Superbly maintained rooms and conference center conveniently located in the Wardley Park neighborhood with a Metro stop located right at the foot of the property. Would stay here again for business or pleasure whenever I'm in the D.C. area

I've been to the Marriott Wardman Park multiple times, both for business and pleasure. It's a top-notch hotel with excellent accommodations. The food is pricey, but everything is in Washington DC and there are a host of places to eat a short walk from the hotel. Staff is very professional and courteous and you're well taken care of.

First, this hotel is EUGE! I was here for a conference. The facility is great. Location is good. It's right next to a metro station. Easy to get around for a lower price especially because the parking fee in this area is insane. Another thing I would like to point out is before I booked this hotel, I have read bad reviews about concierge lounge, but during my visit, the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

While traveling home from a week in DC, staying at the Marriott Wardman Park, I realized I needed a sweatshirt for the drive home from the Indy airport. I went thru my luggage after arriving in Indy and realized I left the persona items in one of the dresser drawers at the hotel. Stayed for a weekend and was very happy with the hotel. Lobby is huge and impressive. Room was clean and nice but average, no different than a room for half the price. Bathroom was quite small, no microwave, but there is a fridge. Metro is right outside the hotel. Parking is expensive, $45 a night but it is in a secure indoor garage. All told I was very satisfied and would stay there again.

We were at this hotel for a conference in mid-June. The hotel has all the amenities you could think of, with several in-restaurants and bars, a mini-mart for the self-sufficient, and a key location just a hundred yards from the Adams-Morgan subway stop on the Red Line. The hotel has paid internet, but if you are a member of Marriott Rewards, it is free.

This is a very nice hotel in a perfect location- within walking distance of several restaurants, and a short walk to the Zoo. Also a block from the metro line, so you can get to pretty much anywhere in DC within a quick metro ride. Hotel was very clean, staff friendly, and has free wi-fi if you sign up for the rewards program.

I always look forward to visiting DC and the Marriott Wardman Park is always a pleasant stay. The staff is consistently very good, some employees I've seen for quite a number of years. Most of the "Historic Wardman Tower" rooms have been removed from the rental pool and are now privately owned. The rooms are fine, not oversized and the bathrooms are also fine, but small. This is a large conference hotel with an excellent staff. Lots of street restaurants in walking distance. Hotel shows its age in a few places like a fire alarm off its mount in the room, and door frames needing a touch up here and there. Overall a very nice stay, just not perfect. 4.5 stars.

This is a very nice hotel for the 3 day conference that I attended. Navigating the halls can be a bit of a challenge because the hotel has been added on to numerous times and it takes a bit getting used to in order to find your way around. By the end of the first day it wasn't too bad, but be prepared to walk. Parking in the garage is very tight so if you drive an SUV, it's better to pay for valet parking or you can spend a fair amount of time finding a spot large enough for your vehicle. ... Read more

I had a "junior suite" on the quiet floor, which was very good for the 5 days duration of my stay. The room was comfortable with all necessary amenities. The hotel is nice and staffed by friendly people. However, it is a large hotel, so any personal service from one day to the next is not possible. The neighborhood restaurants leave something to be desired, but some are OK. I would stay here again at another business trip.

Metro stop, right downstairs Restaurants, right downstairs Bus stops, especially the $1/per ride "Circulator Bus"......right downstairs You can't beat it because if its location alon... Read more

The Marriott Wardman is a very nice hotel and the location is perfect. Just one block away is the metro and several restaurants for lunch/dinner options. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Great hotel in a great location.

We used this hotel as our base while at a medical conference and visiting area sights. We voluntarily accepted a room in the newly renovated tower room to gain a larger, newer room. First room we were assigned had a water leak in the roof and we were moved across the hall. The room was comfortable and spacious but there was no relaxing during the day as the sounds of construction were all around. Otherwise our experience was great and the hotel well located near the airport and near a Metro ... Read more

Just stayed 3 nights at this fab hotel. Everything about it was fabulous. Floor 8 was where our room was located and was just lovely with some outstanding views. Everything you could ever wish for is provided. Lovely toiletries, flat screen TV, free wi fi if you are a marriott member otherwise $12.95 for ordinary or $16.95 for fast wi fi which I think is a tad expensive. However, its free in the lobby for everyone. Some nice restaurants very nearby and the subway station is virtually right... Read more

The hotel is in a nice location for easy walks to several nice restaurants, and for walking in nice neighborhoods. The bar and pantry staff were close to average, but the housekeeping staff servicing the 3rd floor were impeccable, fabulous job cleaning and extremely friendly.

Just completed a four day stay at this Marriott Hotel in DC and was very disappointed! Our room was not ready at the 4:00 check in time, so we had to wait in the lobby for a half hour before arriving at our room. We requested a king size bed since there were no queens and was given a room in an older section of the hotel ( looks like two hotels were joined together). The bathroom was a decent size but had no hot water from the sink, the shower (no tub) was extremely small and dated and paint w... Read more

Typical corporate ran hotel with policies to treat their patrons like cattle. Hotel cancelled one of my reservation dates and then charge double to re-instate the stay at late night when no time or energy left to change hotel.

Got put in the high tower which has yet to be renovated. Not near as nice as the other parts of the hotel, deep in between brick buildings so cell coverage is bad as well. Elite members beware, go elsewhere if possible

For a (supposed) 5 star Marriott hotel, it is really disappointing. The room they gave me was very far away, without even a mini bar, very small, with no view and overall really miserable. When I asked for a pair of slippers, after long resistance they gave it of the wrong size... Considering I paid almost 300 USD a day this is unbelievable. Try to absolutely avoid it if you can.

I stayed at this hotel for a week while traveling for work. I didn't have a choice about hotel and was extremely concerned about all of the bad reviews. I am very selective about the hotels I stay at when traveling for leisure - and was preparing myself for a rocky stay. Honestly, my stay was great and I encountered very few of the issues reported by other reviewers. I stayed in a deluxe room, which is a bit bigger than a standard room with a dining room table and 4 chairs. I was allotted a r... Read more

Stayed for five nights on 5th floor. Air Conditioning in the halls must have been set at 50°F! Room cleaning was avg to below avg. Beds were not very comfortable. The good: a decent amount of local eateries nearby as well as small grocery store and the metro stop is right across the street. Staff attention was very good.

As the per the title, the hotel is quite dated. Unless this is your conference hotel, I would choose other hotels which are newer or closer to downtown or airport. When there is traffic, it takes over an hour to get you to downtown. Some serious renovation is needed.

This is a huge hotel on the outskirts of Washington. Its bank of high speed lifts in the central tower works smoothly and efficiently. Unfortunately that is the only thing that does. The rooms are tired and dreary. Lighting is barely sufficient. There is no minibar nor water in the room. I drank the acrid water from the tap. On the ground floor is an overpriced and overcrowded shop if you want to buy any drinks for your room including water. The TV is old with fuzzy reception. The clock is wrong... Read more

Beautiful lobby and good check in experience. However, rooms are average (loud at night - sounded like vacuum running all night long under me) and ate first night at Harry's Pub. Horrible service. Actually thought my table and two others in the area, were on candid camera. Every request (e.g. water, food) went to wrong table. Asked 3 times before I could get a glass of water. Ordered a beer. Got it pretty fast. Then got a 2nd one (belonging to table adjacent). Crazy.

Very large hotel yet very disappointed in on site restaurant/food availability. The restaurant hours were not accommodating and the food was poor considering this is in a very nice area and amount of business. The snack bar was not very well staffed to accommodate the large conference crowd. Overnight parking is ridiculous at $50 a night.
