I spent four days in this Marriott beauty at a Conference. Other hotel chains could learn a great deal from their service and the quality provided. The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with everything needed for an extended stay. I was totally impressed by the prompt and consistent housekeeping with zero mistakes. The front desk handles large registrations with sufficient staffing. Every staff member, whether front desk or other duties, that I encountered were always pleasant and w... Read more

The Wardman Park is an excellent hotel with all the required amenities. Unfortunately, I was shocked at checkout to discover that the charge for parking my car during the stay was $45 a night. Had I known that, I probably would have made other arrangments.

Stayed 4 nights at this wonderful property for a business conference. Superbly maintained rooms and conference center conveniently located in the Wardley Park neighborhood with a Metro stop located right at the foot of the property. Would stay here again for business or pleasure whenever I'm in the D.C. area

I've been to the Marriott Wardman Park multiple times, both for business and pleasure. It's a top-notch hotel with excellent accommodations. The food is pricey, but everything is in Washington DC and there are a host of places to eat a short walk from the hotel. Staff is very professional and courteous and you're well taken care of.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. Easy to get to from train station by metro. Interesting neighborhood. Large room with comfortable bed and all amenities. Lack of free wifi was the major annoyance. Staff were all friendly and helpful and professional.

First, this hotel is EUGE! I was here for a conference. The facility is great. Location is good. It's right next to a metro station. Easy to get around for a lower price especially because the parking fee in this area is insane. Another thing I would like to point out is before I booked this hotel, I have read bad reviews about concierge lounge, but during my visit, the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

While traveling home from a week in DC, staying at the Marriott Wardman Park, I realized I needed a sweatshirt for the drive home from the Indy airport. I went thru my luggage after arriving in Indy and realized I left the persona items in one of the dresser drawers at the hotel. I called the Marriott Wardman Park from baggage claim, explained my mistake and was transferred to Wayne Johnstone in the security department. Within one or two minutes, he retrieved my lost items and within several d... Read more

Stayed for a weekend and was very happy with the hotel. Lobby is huge and impressive. Room was clean and nice but average, no different than a room for half the price. Bathroom was quite small, no microwave, but there is a fridge. Metro is right outside the hotel. Parking is expensive, $45 a night but it is in a secure indoor garage. All told I was very satisfied and would stay there again.

We were at this hotel for a conference in mid-June. The hotel has all the amenities you could think of, with several in-restaurants and bars, a mini-mart for the self-sufficient, and a key location just a hundred yards from the Adams-Morgan subway stop on the Red Line. The hotel has paid internet, but if you are a member of Marriott Rewards, it is free.

This is a very nice hotel in a perfect location- within walking distance of several restaurants, and a short walk to the Zoo. Also a block from the metro line, so you can get to pretty much anywhere in DC within a quick metro ride. Hotel was very clean, staff friendly, and has free wi-fi if you sign up for the rewards program.

I always look forward to visiting DC and the Marriott Wardman Park is always a pleasant stay. The staff is consistently very good, some employees I've seen for quite a number of years. Most of the "Historic Wardman Tower" rooms have been removed from the rental pool and are now privately owned. The rooms are fine, not oversized and the bathrooms are also fine, but small. Views are very nice from higher floors and if you utilize the concierge floor, the servers are very accommodating and I'd say ... Read more

We were able to stay at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park again & it was great. The service was excellent, our room was always clean and it is in an excellent location. The only thing that they do not do that other hotels do is provide the free flavored ice water with the sliced fruit.

Stayed for a week in central tower on concierge level. Room is in small size but furniture and fixtures are new. What impressed me most is their hospitality. Every employee I encountered is courteous and warm with a smile on the face. Concierge level guests get free breakfast, Hors d'oeuvre and dessert. Food is delicious and in good variety. A few times I didn't need to go out for dinner because my stomach was so satisfied with hot and cold Hors d'oeuvre. Servers in concierge dinning room are fr... Read more

This is a large conference hotel with an excellent staff. Lots of street restaurants in walking distance. Hotel shows its age in a few places like a fire alarm off its mount in the room, and door frames needing a touch up here and there. Overall a very nice stay, just not perfect. 4.5 stars.

This is a very nice hotel for the 3 day conference that I attended. Navigating the halls can be a bit of a challenge because the hotel has been added on to numerous times and it takes a bit getting used to in order to find your way around. By the end of the first day it wasn't too bad, but be prepared to walk. Parking in the garage is very tight so if you drive an SUV, it's better to pay for valet parking or you can spend a fair amount of time finding a spot large enough for your vehicle. ... Read more

Overall very nice complaints...friendly staff...clean and nice spacious rooms. Location is outside the national mall area and really not walkable to any of the more traditional dc attractions. Only attraction nearby is the national zoo across the street. Because of known for convention accommodations. There were hundreds of people here with a convention during or stay and made the place a bit crowded especially since they tend to travel in pacts. Lots of food and ... Read more

We stayed there due to a wedding in the area. Check in was a breeze and very helpful even though you could tell they were busy. The room was spacious and comfortable and really liked the location of the hotel. The only reason why I am giving 3 stars is for the housekeeping department. We left early to go to the zoo and came back around 2pm. Our room was still not clean which was a surprise since we were getting ready for a wedding. But, when we asked 3 different housekeepers if we were next o... Read more

My company reserved a room for me to stay 6/12-6/17. When I checked in, I gave them my card for incidentals. When I checked out, they billed the company card for 6/14, 6/15 and 6/16, and charged me for 6/12, 6/13, 6/14 and 6/15. Neither card was billed for 6/16. So for 2 nights, 2 different cards were both charged for the same room!! What kind of hotel billing system allows them to charge the same room twice for the same night to 2 different cards?! And my personal card should not have been bill... Read more

The only reason not to stay here is because every hotel you stay after will be a disappointment! The service, rooms, common areas, and style are top notch. This is the only hotel we consider when coming to DC....we're on our way there right now!

This is my favorite place to stay in DC. The rooms are always spotless and the service is A1. It is pricey even at a business discounted rate for a conference but I love staying here. Metro is right at the base of the hotel and the zoo is within walking distance.

The drive from the airport to Wardman park marriott was fantastic. The hotel itself locates at a residential neighborhood with many cool restaurants nearby. The check in process was efficient as I have already checked in on my app. The staffs were friendly for my requests through and through. The lounge serves hot breakfast was a great touch.

I am here yearly and I love tgis property. Checking in can be a hassle - for elite members especially, but the hotel is fantastic. Exceptional customer service everywhere. Restaurants could use some work, and wait staff could stand more training but other than that all 5 star service

I had a "junior suite" on the quiet floor, which was very good for the 5 days duration of my stay. The room was comfortable with all necessary amenities. The hotel is nice and staffed by friendly people. However, it is a large hotel, so any personal service from one day to the next is not possible. The neighborhood restaurants leave something to be desired, but some are OK. I would stay here again at another business trip.

I was completely pleased with my stay at the Marriott at Wardman Park. The staff was exceptional from the front desk to the servers in the restaurants and especially the valets. I loved being able to walk out of the hotel and have quick access to the subway if needed and several interesting restaurant choices. If you want to just stay in the hotel and eat definitely go to Harry's Pub and get the Maryland Crab soup! Great experience overall!

Just returned from a week long convention in which I shared a room at the Marriott Wardman Park. Hotel is beautiful and directly across the street from a metro exit. Staff was friendly and efficient with check in and out. Our room was clean but I thought the bathroom was a tad small--especially for two travelors. Our banquet meals were good--and they provided soy milk for my coffee which was a plus. They have a small convenience store in the lobby and had vegan fudge on the menu. The staff was... Read more

The Marriott Wardman park has a great location at the Woodley Park Metro station, close to Dupont Circle, the Zoo, Adams Morgan, etc. But the hotel is fraying and not being kept up very well (see pictures). For roughly the same price, there are better options in the same part of town.

This Marriott is a huge hotel which caters to business conferences. If you are looking for a hotel for a leisure visit, I would not suggest you stay here. They didn't have any rooms left with a king bed so we had to take a room with 2 double beds. Double beds are extremely uncomfortable and my husband and I are slender people. Our room overlooks a busy street so we hear trucks and cars hitting gratings in the street all day. My husband is a Marriott member so we usually try to stay at Marri... Read more

The Wardman Park Hotel looks to be a renovated apartment that is probably due for a retrofit in the next few years but in the meantime is a nice hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of the DC mall area. Connecticut Av is easily within walking distance of the hotel and there are plenty of markets, restaurants, liquor stores so one can avoid outrageous hotel prices. Also, there are refrigerators in the room for drinks and light snacks so pack a cooler if you are driving. As for the hotel-it is... Read more

I was here for a convention last week and was pleasantly surprised at the friendly staff. A few hours after I had checked in, I went to the front desk and was greeted by name! For a big chain hotel in Washington that was unexpected. I had a room in the Central tower. It was clean. It contained all the usual amenities. The only negative was the price of parking, $50 for valet, but it is Washington DC. If you are coming for a convention be prepared to walk.

This is a very large conference hotel and all the amenities one expects with that. Also all the expenses, as food is quite expensive. It was very clean and well kept throughout. Many restaurants (fast and slow) are within one long block -- and they were easy to get to. A Metro stop (on the Red Line) is also one long block away; very convenient when the Metro isn't being worked on (as it is in the summer of 2016). This is in/near the Adams Morgan neighborhood, which is full of interesting... Read more

I was here for a conference and stayed 6 nights. My room was spotless, Brittney at the front desk was a doll to work with, and the amenities were great. We used the outdoor pool, which also seemed to double for the neighborhood. It wasn't a popular hotel place. The fitness center was gym quality, I used it every day. The drink prices at the bar were a bit much even for a hotel. It is a block up the hill from the metro and about $14 for Uber or $24 for a cab from the airport. The zoo is ba... Read more

We were at this hotel for a business conference. The meeting rooms were great and the temperature was good in the meeting rooms which in most places are freezing. The lunches which were served each day of the meetings were very good with the exception of the dry over cooked chicken on the first day. The room we were in was old and needed an update...peeling paint, rusty door hinges and peeling wall paper.

From the outside, this is a beautiful older hotel. It was a fine experience, but it was not SPECIAL, like I have come to expect when staying at fine old hotels like the Wardman Park Marriott. Especially when staying for an extended time.
