Nice place to stay - but we were very much so surprised by the elevated costs just to park your car for one night!!! OMG!!!!! And what happened to the free continental breakfast usually served at most Days Inns? It's so much better to wake up to a breakfast courtesy of the hotel you've just spent the night at ... instead of having to buy it - especially after incurring lodging and parking expenses the night before! PARKING SHOULD ALWAYS BE FREE!!!

I was traveling with my family to New York from Florida. The inn is old, but not really dirty. $89 for 4 people is not bad in D.C.

Clean neat room. Mattress could be upgrades. Bathroom was clean but tub was old and dingy. Did not have a secure internet connection and only got 7 channels on TV.

After reading other TripAdvisor reviews, it was with some trepidation that I reserved rooms for a recent business trip. We were visiting UDC, and they requested that we stay at this property, near the University. I arrived in the morning, not expecting to check in early, and sure enough, I could not. A staff member took my info, checked my bag, and I left the hotel for a nearby Starbucks. Five hours later (2 PM), I got my room, after two colleagues who arrived 3 hours after I did were given thei... Read more

For the price the hotel is very correct. The room was comfortable and quite. The staff was kind and friendly. The parking is not included ... That was a surprise for us, a not good one because it costs 23$ per day! It's a bit expensive.

When the outdoor temperature dropped, the room became cold. That is when we realized that the only room heater was a plug in heater that was not plugged in. After we plugged it in, the room became toasty, but then we discovered the only way to turn off the heater was to unplug it from the wall.
