The hotel offers good value for money and it's very close to the subway. That said, all the building in general is kind of old.

Extremely strong, nauseating smell of smoke in the non-smoking bedroom they gave me on the 6th floor. Opening the window did not help one bit. I asked at the front desk whether all their rooms (advertised as non-smoking!) smelt like this, and they explained to me that the smell was coming up to that room through the vents. They offered that I switch to a room on the 2nd floor. This room on the 2nd floor did have a much weaker smell of smoke, yet the hallway on the 2nd floor had, again, a very st... Read more

I wish that parking fees had been included in the price. It's 23.60 to park at the hotel for a night. It was shocking as I had never experienced this before and a little heads up would have been appreciated.

Staff not overly helpful, ie arrived early couldn't check in even though rooms were available; no internet in lobby to hire Lyft/Uber; no extra blankets and heater in room didn't work well

Great location at a great rate. However, the rooms show their age, but are generally clean. The wi-fi is a joke, incredibly slow. There seem to be cable TV problems as in one time I had to switch rooms because of it. But if you want something cheap, close to metro, you cant go wrong.

Very close to metro station. Can't beat the price. The bed & pillows were very comfy. The bathroom was very clean. The room could use a newer carpet but I'm not buying the hotel so it's not that important to me. It's in a good neighbor hood which is always a plus.

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice, good for the money we paid. I would come back again. It is perfect for one/two nights.

This hotel is four blocks from the Van Ness/UDC Metro station. It is a nice area of the city with several local restaurants all within a block or two of the hotel. The staff at the hotel were courteous and welcoming. The room, which maintains cable, flat screen TV, wireless was clean. Water in bathtub could have been a bit hotter, but that might be a safety regulation. There were more than enough towels. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. One complaint I read was an issue with the co... Read more

Convenient location near Metro. No restaurant but Tesoro Restaurant next door very good. Lobby is small with little waiting area and business center out in open hallway. No pool or hottub. Nice gift store but very small. Safe neighborhood to walk around in. Uber minutes away. Convenient to Zoo.
