About the Area
Downtown DC is awash with culture. The Smithsonian Institution museum complex flanks the National Mall. The Washington Monument bisects the Mall, just south of the White House. Federal agency headquarters house bureaucrats of varying stripes. Moneyed and powerful lobbyists help create (and quash) laws from K Street. Chinatown and the Washington Convention Center lie east of downtown.

We spent 2 nights at this great hotel. What a perfect place! Very well located, only 15 minutes walk to the White House, friendly staff, the room was beautiful ( love the headboard), spacious and spotless! They have a indoor pool, a rooftop and breakfast is available for $15. It'll always be our choice when we go back to DC.

Stayed 2 nights with the hotel and enjoyed everything about it. The host were amazing, the valet parking staff were very friendly. Also enjoyed the little extra they did for us to accommodate our birthdays. Worth every penny and definitely be my hotel choice every trip to Washington DC now!!!

Great location, perfect for the inauguration and spending time with girlfriends., Sweet quaint neighborhood this newer chic hotel was lovely, all decked in in Presidents. Rooms nice and cozy, great for friends or family!

Wow! Pleasantly surprised with the great location, service and cleanliness of the hotel. I cannot say we got a great price as we stayed downtown D.C. during the Inauguration weekend, so crazy busy timeframe with the hotel filled with people for the Inauguration as well as the Women's March; but with all that going on the service remained fantastic and the location was very convenient to everything we were there to do. We did not utilize the pool nor gym but both looked clean and well cared for... Read more

The hotel was clean and had everything you needed. Bar and breakfast buffet was very good. The room setup was perfect for us and were able to relax in between our busy schedule. There was a great grocery store right across the street. Only negatives was a longer walk to the White House. About 20 minutes but not bad if you are used to walking. And the valet wasn't typical.

Newish hotel - built about 5 years ago with contemporary decor. Has suites that sleep 5 in a pinch - room was in excellent condition and perfectly clean. Very friendly staff - always say hello, always smile, and always ready to help out. Nice amenities: pool, top floor balcony, fire pit, breakfast area (very reasonably priced) which becomes a cocktail bar / area in the evening. Drinks were a little expensive but with a generous pour. Situated in a more residential area so be prepared to gr... Read more

Our family stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to Washington D.C. The hotel is well located, only two blocks from the convention center and three blocks from the convention center metro station. This seems to be a part of town that is rapidly transitioning to multistory residential and trendy restaurants. This hotel is about four blocks from Logan Circle and a Whole Foods, and it is no more than a 10 block walk or metro ride to some of DC's finer restaurants. The rooms are very large with two... Very clean, room was large, we had 2 queens and a pull out sofa, very nice set up. Secure floor access, you needed a room key to select a floor in the elevator. Giant grocery store right next to hotel so you can stock your room with drinks and snacks. 2 blocks from metro, neighborhood seemed a little suspect, if you went to 7th St it seemed like you get to public housing, there was a large loud crowd out Thursday since the temp was 66 degrees at night. Travel 9th St and you need to pass a conv... Read more

Very large room, modern and clean. Service pretty good. Not a sexy neighborhood but a few fine restaurants (e.g, Convivial) and a large supermarket close by. Not a lot of amenities, but a good base for exploring all the sights of DC if you do not mind the 10 min walk to the metro station. Overall very good value for money and definitely would stay there again.

This is a nice hotel with a great value and convenient location! My room was well appointed with microwave and refrigerator and the other things typically provided for the hotel room. The room was clean and pretty sound proof. I didn't hear others in their room or in the hall. They have a nice restaurant/bar that is also super convenient-and a bit pricey. $16.00 for the breakfast buffer, $10.00 for a shot of grand marnier. Great service provision though. Nice penthouse gym with indoor pool (didn... Read more
