My husband and I visited Sussex County Delaware recently. We chose to stay inland since the hotels near the beaches were all charging their"in season" rates. The Hampton Inn was fabulous. Complimentary breakfast included many different hot and cold items. The pool and spa tub were both clean and functioning with no problems. The fitness room was small but definitely worthwhile. Fitness room had cardio machines and free weight machine as well as hand weights. We would definitely return.

Would stay here again. Comfortable beds, nice shower, staff very friendly and accommodating, and the best breakfast at a hotel I have ever had. Applebee's next door. Near to Walmart, gas stations, many fast food choices.

I am staying here for 11 days. I have stayed here on previous trips and feel very comfortable and safe staying at this hotel. The front desk staff is personable and makes you feel like a friend. The location is good and, although I did not use the pool or fitness room, they looked to be very clean and inviting. I will definitely stay here again.

We were so pleased with our stay at the Hampton Inn in Seaford, DE. Our beautiful room was spotless and the hefty doors made for an extremely quiet, peaceful stay. I'm a light sleeper and I had the best night's sleep at this hotel! The staff were wonderful and welcoming. This was yet another perfect Hampton Inn experience!

The Hampton in Seaford, was nice and clean. It was the perfect location for what we was there for. The room was a good size and very clean. I can't really comment on the breakfast, we didn't get there in time.

This is our second time coming to this hotel and it was great. We have fun, everyone was nice and the staff was great. We will be back again. I love it. The area was great we even move our table to make it a card table and made fun out of it. We were missing a towel and one phone call to the front desk they hook us up. I recommend this hotel to anyone that want fun and quiet.

I have stayed at this hotel twice with each stay being 3 plus days, excellent hotel and staff. My only complaint if you would call it that was the pillows are small and too soft for my taste. I have enjoyed my stay both times.

Sorry TripAdvisor but I will never books room through you again. After I booked I got a notification from "Cancel On"confirming the reservation and 4 days prior to my trip they notified me that they had taken payment for the reservation. Got to the hotel and there was NO RESERVATION for us!!!! Not under our names, not under the confirmation number. Nothing!!!! It was NASCAR weekend so we were in a panic! Clean, Friendly Service, Love the extra shelf space in the bathroom - it is a little touch found in every Hampton. In most hotels, the health and beauty aids get scattered on the counter creating clutter one does not want to see when away. Excellent WiFi connection, free breakfast and coffee throughout day.

Seaford, DE was where we found ourselves when the sun began to set on our way north. We checked the reviews of the various hotels and picked the #1 rated Hampton Inn. We were very satisfied. The view of the pool's roof was less than picturesque. We enjoyed playing a game in the lobby. Breakfast was good, right to the end. We were not able to log-on to the wifi.

This hotel would have received five stars if the rates were lower. Being that this Hampton Inn is not near any major attractions or the beach, the rates are quite high. The hotel is located on Route 13 in the middle of the Eastern Shore. It is about 30 minutes from the beaches. The Hampton Inn is located near several restaurants. The hotel has virtually all the amenities that a full service hotel offers. There is an indoor swimming pool, a business center, a fitness room, high speed intern... Read more

Very similar to most Hampton Inns. The room was a little pricey for an Honor's member but it is a weekend. They have an indoor pool and hot tub. A typical exercise room next to the pool. Free breakfast. The room was clean.

Hotel was clean and staff is very helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent. King room was a little small, but had everything you need. Bathroom was large enough. Bedspread/Quilt was very comfortable and we got great sleep all five nights we were there. I did feel like the hotel was a bit pricey, but it delivered a very good overall rating in my opimion.

This is definitely a $100 per night hotel. It is very "okay". The staff was "okay" and so were the accommodations. I had to book a last minute room and was charged $230 per night - which it is not worth. I love Hampton Inns because you know what you are going to get - even worst case scenario. So, that's what I got. Very unremarkable and in need of renovation. Clean enough. Not a lot of parking if full.

We went to this hotel and loved most things about it. However, at 9pm went to the front desk to let them know there were about 15-20 kids rough housing in the pool. They were doing cannon balls (nearly landed on me and my wife multiple times). They ripped the decorations off the wall and were throwing the life saving devises all over. I told the male night manager who said "oh well, I'm about to close it anyway". He went into the pool about 15 minutes later and told them he was closing it in 5 m... Read more

The complete package. The entire staff was great. I would assume it is a result of great management, keeping all of staff enthusiastic, motivated & happy to put the customer first. This has become a rarity within the Hilton Chains and the HHonors Loyalty Program. The staff should definitely be recognized as a team for maintaining the Customer Service and Loyalty that Hilton prides itself on. Thank you.

The hotel was a good Hampton Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff did a great job handling unexpected inaccessibility to the parking lot due to road flooding. They made arrangements with an adjacent business to use their parking lot. While not perfect, they made the best of a tough situation.

Good points: convenient location, clean/comfortable room, 10% discount if you eat at Applebee's across the street. Not so good points: when I arrived there were three groups of people waiting to check in and no one manning the front desk (a sign said they would be right back, which was 7 minutes after I arrived) - the view from our room was nothing to brag about, it overlooked the roof covering their pool.

This hotel is in a great location with places to eat nearby. There is also a Super Walmart pretty much across the parking lot. The hotel lobby has coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24 hours. The room was decent, although the carpet could do with a good clean. Flushing the toilet was scary. It was very loud. Breakfast was not great. Minimal choices. The main staple was a a bagel with melted cheese and ham on it. It was extremely cheesy and made me want to heave. There should be more choices.

We didn't arrive until 11pm, but we're so thankful for the room availability on a Friday. The staff were friendly, clean rooms, with comfortable beds. We grabbed a quick bite at the continental free breakfast, which had the standard cereal, muffin, waffle, etc. There seemed to be plenty of choices close by for food and a Wal-Mart. Nothing fancy to the hotel but pleasantly pleased with a quiet, comfortable night of sleep! Onward to our destination.

Great service. It's an older (or not yet updated) facility. If you can get a room for around $100, you'll be thrilled. If you pay closer to $200 per night, you'll feel robbed. Great for a short stay. Not remarkable. Service - very hospitable folks.
