Very friendly staff. Room very clean and bed comfortable. We will be back in Dover and will plan to stay there again. Convienent for highway access. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Plenty to choose from.

Our two night stay at this Hilton Garden Inn was excellent. Everyone, and I mean every employee we bumped into was friendly and provided excellent service. Check in was a breeze. The property was set back from the highway, so it was very quiet for sleeping. Our room, 106, was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. This will be our go to hotel for future visits. The hotel is nice and clean, but the beds are the absolute worst I ever slept in in my life!! I stay in a lot of hotels and many of them are hilton brands, and usually the bed is comfortable... This hotels beds are HORRENDOUS. I would have honestly been more comfortable on the floor. I had pain all night laying in it and pain most of the next day. This is a well maintained beautiful property. Very clean and well appointed rooms and public spaces. Courteous staff, pleasant and helpful. Great breakfast. A very nice stay- cant say enough good things about this Hilton Garden Inn. being a very "particular" guest this property met all my expectations. I would certainly recommend if in the area.

Rooms were nice and clean. Check in service was great and so was food. The cook and server did an outstanding job. I'd stay here before anywhere else in Dover. Easy access on/off of Route 1. Plenty of places to go for dinner also.

Stayed over Memorial weekend to go over to Dover Downs. Perfect location ... just down the road. Many places to choose from to eat and shop. Easy in/out off highway as it's by a light. Pool is small and was too crowded to use. Also had a fitness room to work out in. In lobby they had a made to order breakfast ... again didn't use as it was $10 a person so we went next door to Bob Evans. Rooms are comfortable and spacy - friendly staff

hotel turned lemons into lemonade Even though a computer problem gave clerks problems , they remained calm. The hotel compensated with a delicious snack upon arrival that was healthy as well. This was great when you arrive tired and hungry. Great amenities.

This was our second visit. Clean, friendly staff, comfy bed, nice amenities. Keurig coffee maker, frig and microwave. We only stayed one night, but nice to know for possible future, longer visits. Check-in and check-out friendly and quick. We are HH rewards members - complimentary bottled water upon check-in was a nice touch.

Great service. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was attentive from the moment we arrived. The restaurant in the hotel was convenient, and has improved from past experiences. The meal we had was quite good.

Sabrina at the front desk was excellent to work with. We had an issue with our initial room and she was helpful in finding us another room. The mattresses are OK (not the most comfortable), the sheets are good, and room was homelike. The coffee and tea k-cups in the room were a nice bonus. I wish the indoor pool and jacuzzi room had an A/C system or some kind of ventilation system because it was way too humid and hot in there for us, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool.

Fabulous stay with the exception of no breakfast. Room was nice and kozy. It was clean and fresh. Plenty of fresh linen, toiletries had a great smell. Plenty of channels on TV continuous movies on. Staff was fabulous, but I didn't get my complimentary breakfast it was 10. Extra I didn't like that was rushing to office hungry

We enjoy staying at Hiton Garden Inns. They are, in terms of their rooms and amenities, pretty much the same so you know what to expect. Great hotel the staff is great and the food is great. One of the nicer hotels in the Dover Delaware area. We typically stay at this hotel when visiting the area. It's very centrally located to Dover Downs and Delaware State University.

The hotel was clean upon arrival and so was our room. The food was good and the restaurant/bar service was cordial as well. Our main complaint was that on the first day we ha been out the entire day and returned that evening to a room that had not been cleaned, beds still unmade, bathroom not cleaned and fresh clean towels not put out and garbage still full.. The mattresses were TOO soft.

We have stayed in quite a few Hilton hotels, including Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, and Hilton Garden INN. This is by far the best Hilton hotels we have experienced. The staff was friendly, service was outstanding, and the room was very clean. The breakfast was much better than Hampton's. Driving home from the outer banks we stopped here because our usual Hampton Inn was full Having never been to a Hilton Garden Inn we weren't sure what to expect. The room was full sized for sure. It was clean and only a little pricey. No breakfast.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dover, DE. Accommodations are excellent. Staff is courteous and friendly. Convenient location. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Restaurant is very good. They could repair the outside patio chairs and provide all day free coffee.

We were served drinks with bugs in the glass, Lettuce with mildew, and a sandwich sans bacon and avocado. The hotel is older and a little dirty. We heard the people above us talking and moving around. Very conveniently located on Route 13. We are Hilton Gold members but we won't return to this Hilton.

This hotel is hands down a great place to stay. The staff is great the room are very well kept for the price that you pay. The food for the price is delicious. the pool/hot tub area is comfortable and clean for kids and adults alike. I recommend staying at this hotel if you are in the Dover area. It is a few miles away from the casinos and there are plenty of options for food around.

wonderful hotel. Just had a problem with housekeeping. I stayed for 2 nights and left on Sunday. I asked at lease 5 times to get my room serviced. We were in and out of the room on that day and not once was my room serviced. We went out and came back after 12 midnight and my room wasn't touched. Excellent option to stay in Dover. The kitchen is very good with a decent range of options on the menu. Internet was good. They had a small pantry with snack food and beverages. Never had to leave the hotel for anything interesting the 2 weeks I have stayed there.

Hotel was very nice. Lobby was very inviting and comfortable. Breakfast was good and made to order, only wish is was included with the cost of the stay. I would have paid extra for the buffet, but not even the continental was included and I am an HHonors member. With that said, would still stay at the hotel again if needed. Nightly fluctuating price increases due to "supply and demand"! I checked in on a Friday - Monday at the rate of $156, asked to stay an additional night and was quoted $179 due to "supply and demand" on a Tuesday night. Each Hilton Garden in is individually owned and operated and they can set prices as they wish. The Hilton brand will suffer greatly. I will definitely NOT stay at a Hilton hotel ever again. this hotel was very clean. Rooms were nice and big, we stayed in July and walked into an already cool room. (Most hotels don't think ahead like that). Bar service great!! And the food amazing, great dinners and fabulous breakfast. Perfect poached eggs!!! I was blow away at the service from ALL staff members!

Rooms were clean, staff friendly. No complimentary breakfast. But overall, very nice accommodations for my husband and I. We would stay here again. As a side note, we ate at Bob Evans next door and the service there was very sub-par. We will not return. But, there is an IHOP down the road a few miles that was crowded, but much better food and service.

I recently kicked my old stand by, Hampton, to the curb and tried this place. It was just average. The room was a little run down. And in my opinion a little pricey. I didn't realize there was a breakfast charge until after I ate. I'll keep searching for a better alternative.

Well this was our second time staying here. The front desk staff is very friendly. As a hilton honor gold member our breakfast was free and i have to say the Sunday cook did and excellent job with our omelet and french toast. Did not expect that quality of breakfast. I have stayed here once or twice per month for the last three years while on business. The hotel rooms are definitely in need of an upgrade so I am glad that to hear that that is in the plans. We've stayed at this facility several times over the past few years. It has always been a good stay but the facility needs an update. New carpets and mattresses would be great. The staff has always been first rate and very accommodating. The kitchen and bar staff are also great and the food is very good. However, breakfast can be a bit hectic if they are crowded. I would recommend not staying on the first floor, as the rooms can be a bit musty.

Unfriendly staff. They were very rude to me while checking in. They lost my corporate authorization paperwork my procurement officer sent in, and would not let me check in until I knew the last 4 digits of the card. This venue provided great service, the location east to access from the highways in the Dover area. It's close to restaurant and shopping areas as well. I found it to be very quite and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

Check the room out throughly before unpacking. Our first room smelled of cigarretes and mildew. The second room had a leak at the window which was addressed however, the window look terrible. The hotel staff was pleasant and especially the breakfast staff. They smiles, welcomed us and provided a great morning experience. The breakfast is a fair price considering the menu. Cookies and lemonade are provided thru the day in the lobby. What a nice treat!

This hotel is very nice. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend going to Harvest Ridge Winery in Marydel. This hotel is in great location. It's located off the highway about a mile. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Only thing I would have to say is Dover needs more places to eat that aren't chain restaurants. But hotel is great. Beds and rooms are up to date and comfortable beds.

Checked in to an unsatisfactory room. Spoke with Teresa at the front desk. She inspected the room and was very apologetic. She insisted I eat and drink at the bar, free, while she personally cleaned my room. It is rare when someone takes ownership of customer service to that level. She saved my stay! Thank you Teresa!!!

Very good overall experience. The hotel looks like it has been recently built. The room has the Keurig coffee maker. It is located behind Wendy's, so it's easy to miss if you don't notice the building.

I stayed here as I had classes at the Air Force Base and wanted a room in the area. Being a Hilton Honors member, I was able to get the room at a nightly rate of $40 plus 8,000 Hilton Honor points. The hotel was updated and looked to be recently built. I did not partake in the daily breakfast but it did look like they have made to order eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. There was also an indoor pool and hot tub (a nice way to relax)

This is the only hotel I stay in, in Dover, they have friendly staff, jaccuzzi rooms, hot tub in pool area. They have very comfortable sleep number beds. I bring my group every April! They have good breakfast. They also have a bar. The Dover Downs shuttle picks you up for the casino. This hotel is near shopping and food stores. The exercise room is really nice as well.

Well here I sit, by myself after a hard day of meeting and greeting clients. Whatever chain I stay at the rooms are starting to look very sterile and similar. One bright spot was Miss Gwenn's chicken, wild rice and mushroom soup...very good wish Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) would add that to their spartan menu. We enjoyed this location. We booked it using Honors APP which was easy and convenient. Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner. We enjoyed the room and nice bathroom. We also enjoyed the pool. We didn't have a chance to try the fitness center, but it looked nice.

It was a decent stay. Pleasant customer service. Did not like the smell of the hallways smelled a little stale. Room service came too early banging on the door @9am and check out is 11am. I had the room for two days. I was very upset the first day I had to wake up out of my sleep twice because they came back like 20 mins later trying to enter the room. Other than that it was a good stay. I will give it another try.

Quick, overnight trip. It wasn't a terrible experience. Service was as expected (we aren't needy guests). Property could use a solid renovation. If ever in the area again, will try the Holiday Inn Express.

We have visited this location for a number of years and watched it go steadily downhill. This visit we noticed there were not rolling carts for the luggage, the carpets in the halls, elevator, and room are dirty and worn. We asked for a manager at one point to ask a question and were told there is no manager there for the entire weekend! Next visit into town we will be staying elsewhere.

An upgrade/renovation is way overdue for this property. I stayed at this hotel 6 years ago in 2010, and it looks like it hasn't changed a thing when I return this week. The hallway/elevator smells musty, bed saggy like a 500 pounder just hibernate in it (room 414). Luckily, I had 2 beds so I moved to the other bed. I was a little disappointed with this property being a Hilton brand.

Great location. Easy drive to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, downtown Dover, and most of the sights in and around Dover. Right off Route 1. Room was super clean, beds were comfy and the staff were very pleasant. Would stay here again on our next trip to Dover.

The Hilton Hotel chain offers quality meeting rooms for all kind of conferences. I definitely would recommend this chain to others businesses and family members. The hotel staff and general manager greeted me and my family.

One of the best hotel in your area. They have good staff and provide great service. The hotel is always clean. It is the only hotel in the area with a restaurant. You can order food any time. You may be able to get a few dollars off the rate of the other hotels but you can't beat the service and the convenience of this hotel. I would recommend this hotel over the others any time.

This hotel is one of the best, if not the best, in the area. The room rate is reasonable for the quality of the room and service. You may be able to find a lower rate elsewhere but this hotel will give you the best value for your money.

It was a great hotel staff very pleasant and friendly. Also, the beds where very comfortable the beds are adjustable like a numbers bed. Breakfast was wonderful the chef made an awesome omelet. I wold stay here again.

This was propably the hotel with the oldest feeling of the hotels I visited during my road trip. Just spent one short night here on the way so it did suite my needs but gave a bit worn down feeling overall. Room was clean though and also had their breakfast in the morning for an additional 10$ which gave good value overall and very cheerful morning staff working here. Free parking is always a bonus!

I went to Dover on a over night getway. My husband and I have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn before so we expected the same type of service, etc. the location of the hotel was excellent, easy access to Dover Downs. The front desk was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, everything was there that you would need to accommodate your stay. The check out process was very easy. This is a hotel that is definetly on our A list and we will go back there again.

Literally just got here and I am ready to leave. The floor our room is on smells terribly, the lady at the front desk was unwelcoming and crass, and the elevator reeks of cigarette smoke. Even though our stay was paid in full prior to us coming, we were charged $75 for incidentals and were told it would be refunded when our stay was over, as long as we don't smoke in the room. I woul recommend The Hilton Garden Inn for anyone who travels .We have used it for travel and as a get away. I have always had good experiences there, and appreciate the cleanliness. The lobby is a great place for a short meeting place during a group trip.

Many small & large shops & eateries. Sharp casino, good food.. Pretty old town. Air force base museum. Another casino at the Delaware State fairgrounds. Rehoboth beach less than an hour away. Traffic moves fairly well.
