I travel a lot for business and often stay at Hampton's. This one is good but needs some updating. The very friendly evening desk clerk told me it is in the works for the late fall. My room was very quiet and I never had any noise issues. The bed was comfortable and all was good. The breakfast is OK, no great shakes but got me going. It is just typical of these hotels. If you need more, there are restaurants near by.

If you're booking this hotel with the expectation of using their nice outdoor pool, beware!! The front desk informed me that the pool may not be open for the season by Memorial Day. This is a real shame because nice outdoor pools are hard to find..

I booked this hotel mainly for the location and the fact that we could travel with our dog. The hotel and room were average, nothing special. Room was neat and clean although it had a very musty smell. The location was great, less than 5 minutes from Dover Down Casino and located near every restaurant and store possible.

Stayed at the Hampton Dover for a one-night stay for a wedding I was attending nearby. The hotel overall was a pretty average Hampton Inn. The rooms were definitely outdated and in need of a renovation. Although clean, it was obvious that this hotel had not been updated in a long time. The only issue I experienced was with the AC Unit. It did not help to keep the room cool at all. I wish I had noticed this issue sooner so that I could notify the front desk to hopefully get a resolution. But, b... Read more

Hotel needs some revamping. Rooms, compared to other Hampton Inns are shabby. Also need a few extra wash cloths in bathroom. Most women need two...an extra one for her face. Breakfast is usually a treat in a Hampton Inn but this was dried out & not edible. In all fairness, we did go to breakfast after nine....breakfast is till ten....but my husband could not eat the cooked breakfast. Was all dried out. Thank God, for dry cereal & yogurt.

This was an overnight stop as we travelled around. The hotel is good, set back from the road so is very quiet. We had to have a smoking room as that was all that was available but would not wish to do that again as the room did smell of smoke (okay expected, but we hoped it would not affect our stay). Breakfast was good and plentiful and the staff were very helpful.

The room was pre-selected, which was okay, but the exit door closest to my room was not accessible with my room key, which made me walk around the front of the hotel. Also, the exercise room which was on the 3rd floor was not room key accessible either, so the front desk attendant had to let me in with a universal key. Gave me a reason about the need for all of the doors to be re-keyed in order for it to work. I didn't like that there were no microwaves in the rooms either.

Needed a quick room and this was only one left. This room needs major updating. The panel wood and old worm furniture with equally worn carpet isn't up to the normal standards of a Hilton hotel brand. While the front desk was extremely accommodating it and the breakfast hot with some great selections, it wasn't worth the amount of money they are charging.
