I stay at this hotel every week in Stamford Ct. Usually I get the very best service and attention. From the front desk welcoming me back to knowing to call for valet as soon as I walk off the elevator. But this week was different. Front desk staff was great as usual but programmed my key for 1 night. No big deal but I had to go through a hassle to get them to reprogram the key because the staff was in training. Next morning was super as expected. Wednesday I had a terrible day at work. P... Read more

It seemed like this hotel is mostly for business travelers, but I loved that it was quiet. I enjoyed the room, it seemed modern, clean, and new. I wish I could have gotten a room with a bathtub. I liked the free copy of USA Today that I got in the lobby. I liked the parking garage that was attached, so my car wasn't left out in the elements. Would definitely come back for a weekend getaway.

We went to this hotel for a convention of private Jewish schools administrators, teachers, etc. so the food, that was great, was from a private caterer so I can't review the hotel food. The staff was extremely nice and friendly from the moment we pulled up. They actually have two hotels connected. Both have very nice rooms. Bathroom was small but manageable. Sink area was outside bathroom. Not sure it's like that everywhere but I actually like it that way. The beds and pillows were extremely co... Read more

I won't return. Bathroom was not clean, place is noisy. Breakfast - horrible. You can get a better breakfast at a Hampton Inn and for free. My room was not made up and I had to request towels. I also had to request my email folios three times. I am sure there are better places to stay in Stamford.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were really nice and was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel as they were especially accommodating to our large group. The management worked hand in hand with the organizers of our weekend and every detail was cared for with a personal touch. Thank you so much for all that you have done and we hope to be there again soon.

I just finished a weekend there with close to 900 guest and I must say I was awed at the outstanding service and professionalism that went on. The manager Aaron went out of his way to ensure that everything was to our liking and convenience and Sharon went out of her way to work out everything to our needs - all with a big smile and very pleasant. The hotel has a beautiful interior , very airy and comfortable. The rooms are nice and it is conveniently located in central Stamford. Would definitel... Read more

On the positive side, my room was huge. But, the interior in general has a cheap feeling to it, and you get the general impression that the whole thing could use a renovation. Also, there is no mini-bar on the room, and machines in the lobby did not work. This is OK if you just need a place to crash for the night, but there is really nothing special to it.

Very nice room, super clean. Very pleasant staff, easy to make reservations .I found the corporate rate to be pretty reasonable. Right next door to a shopping mall, though it is uncertain if you will find that to be an advantage. Note: There is a free shuttle service to the Metro North station. One annoyance I have found is that the pool has never been open at 6:00 AM, the posted opening time; I have always had to go back to the front desk and request it be opened, then waste another 10 minute... This hotel was nice looking on the outside and also on the inside and the rooms were a good size. I stayed there only for one night and the only issued that I had was checking in. It was about 10:00PM when we arrived at this hotel, they do have a parking garage in the back of the building for a minimal fee but check-in is in the front of the building. After checking in we couldn't find any luggage carts to help us bring in all of our luggage up to our rooms. We asked the front desk for some assi... Read more

This is was not my first stay at this hotel but it will likely be my last. I was there for business. Check in was not the best as the people behind the desk were rude and seemed to be on their last nerve as they were dealing with a large check out of a group. There are no refrigerators in the rooms which is almost a staple in every other "business" hotel in the area/country. But the worst part for me was the power outage where even after going down the stairs to the outdoor entrance the d... Read more

We stopped here for an overnight rest on our way to visit family. The room we were given was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although it didn't have a refrigerator, it did have a coffeemaker with coffee and tea. The clerk at the desk was courteous. We were pleased with the reasonable rate we paid using Trip Advisor - even after having to pay the $10 nightly parking fee.

We traveled an hour out of NYC. It was difficult to see the signs at night but did find it. The room was spacious for 3 of us having 2 full size beds. It was nice to find that parking was only $10 per day and the hotel was huge. We stayed on the 2nd floor and liked the fact that it was quiet. The beds were comfortable. There was a restaurant available and I liked that when we woke, that we were surrounded by lots of different stores and shopping areas. It'd be a great way to pass the time if y... Read more

From the disinterested expression of the person at the front desk when I arrived, it was as if the staff was annoyed by not just my presence, but by all guests. When we got to our room, it was disturbing to see that the room had down/feathers despite direct requests and warnings when I booked the room that my wife is severely allergic. We also called twice beforehand and the rude people who answered assured us it would be taken care of. Oh, and the fridge that we had also requested to have in t... Read more

A complete disaster. We booked four rooms as a part of a business trip. When we went to check in at 7:30 pm on a Sunday night, we were told we had to wait because our rooms were not made up. After 45 minutes, we inquired about the availability of our rooms and they said that they had plenty of rooms available but wanted to keep us together. It's a business trip......who cares about being together. When finally checked in, I went to my room which had a view of the parking garage immediately out... Read more

We attended a dinner dance in one of their ballrooms on Saturday. The lobby has a beautiful display of orchids. The food was just ok considering there were over 300 people to feed, cold but edible. My biggest issue was the wait staff and the bar tenders. ABSOULTELY, untrained in service. No personal interaction from any of them. Did not seem to want to be there and it wasn't just our waiter. 1. didn't know which side to serve from/to 2. did not appreciate being reached over to get to g... Read more

Stayed here 8 nights working on a summer event in the area. Our group took over a good portion of the hotel. Compliments to the staff for their congeniality, professionalism and good attitudes. Our check in was very simple as I booked via a hotel booking website. Front desk clerk was very kind, helpful and patient. Paid $10 for underground parking which had easy access to hotel. The rooms were very clean and overlooked the hotel atrium too. Pool was adequate but not super flashy, hot tub was fine and sauna worked very well. Looked into the gym, so if you're a muscle head or you need to workout then this will satisfy you then. The shuttle was easy and our driver was hilarious and took... Read more

Booked a room for a Saturday night while on a road trip from Florida to Boston. We arrived about 9 PM to check in. There was only one staff member working the check-in desk with about 10 people in line. The place was crazy - screaming kids running everywhere, tons of people smoking right by the front doors and a number of employees just standing behind the desk on their cell phones (this was a trend that kept repeating itself). I stayed there as I was meeting a client nearby. The staff was friendly at arrival. The lobby of the hotel feels big so there is no warmth to it. My room was extremely dark, and I had to go through a corridor to get to my actual room, it felt cold and too big, it lacked warmth. But it was clean and the staff was friendly. So it was an okay stay overall.

I stayed with a group of 5 other people in this hotel for 10 nights while working in the area. Overall, the hotel is old and could use some updating. My room was somewhat clean, but the carpet was never swept while I stayed there and at one point, clean towels were not put into the bathroom, once it was cleaned.
