Clean, Convenient to Stores, businesses, roadways, but still a quiet oasis. Has undergone some upgrades and changes. There is a shuttle to take you to local places within a 5 - 6 mile radius, which actually covers a lot of locations. Close to I-95, Merritt Parkway (15), Route 7. Many restaurants in the area.

We always have liked this hotel because of its location and quality. It was a pleasure to see that the hotel was nearing completion of a totally new interior that is even better than before. Lovely, comfortable decor, great beds and pillows. New baths have converted to full, walk-in showers and sliding glass doors. Parking is never a problem. Suggest the the rear facing rooms are preferable because they are quiet and face a wooded, rock outcropping. Wish hotels would abandon the ever present... Read more

I've stayed at this hotel several times. Most recently, I was able to see their newly renovated rooms. Rooms are clean though even with the renovations -- rooms are rather basic however the new bathrooms are certainly an upgrade with nice stand-in showers. Easy to access location though Main St can become a bit congested when leaving the hotel in the morning. Did not use any of the facilities so I cannot comment on dining, indoor pool or fitness center. I'd be willing to stay at the hotel again ... Read more

I stayed here the weekend of one of my best friend's wedding. Seeing as I was in the wedding, I didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel. However, the time I did was wonderful. When I first arrived, I got to my room and found that the double occupancy room I had requested now only had one bed. After dropping my things, I went back down to the desk, and explained the situation (my brother was to be joining me later that evening). Good clean and quiet rooms.staff was helpful and they had good info on where to eat. Nice welcoming area with tasty lemonade and delicious cookies and a daily newspaper. I regularly stay at this property on my work trips to Norwalk. I've stayed at the Courtyard and the Doubletree and what keeps me coming back here is the staff. They are friendly and helpful. The recent renovations are a bonus and the King room I just stayed in had a fantastic new shower, etc. The service is fantastic from simple things like packing my buffet breakfast to go for me to getting me skim milk for my coffee so I don't have to use the creamers. This is a great team of employees!

I am a Hilton honors gold member and stayed in different Hilton brands around the world. Usually I stay in Double tree Hilton if I come to Norwalk. This time DT was overbooked. I was there once last month. I went to the restaurant inside the hotel and I was THE ONLY GUEST there. I ordered a simple meal and waited thirty minutes. Did not come out in 30 minutes. The rooms are great (if you ignore the craftmanship that put the high quality components together). A guest would have to put an extra effort to successfully disturb another guest.
