We stayed at the Inn at Middletown after a wedding at the Goodspeed Opera House in Haddam. The bride and groom had booked a block of rooms for their wedding guests. The Inn was decorated for Christmas and really beautiful. I wish I could remember the name of the hotel employee who helped us out twice during our stay. 1) We met him behind the hotel trying to figure out where to park. He let me in the back door so I could check in, and directed my husband and daughter to the parking lot (a block o... Read more

I took my children into NYC for the holidays. I decided to spend Saturday at Inn at Middletown so that we could save 3 hours of driving. Inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays . The Christmas tree was stunningly decorated going up the spiral staircase in the front lobby . The staff was in the holiday festive mode, and a wedding was enjoying the holiday atmosphere . We enjoyed the holiday atmosphere. Parking was convenient in front of the building on the main st . My children and I... Read more

The location is great for visiting Wesleyan. The rooms are nice and clean, and parking is provided, although it's a short walk from the hotel. Our room didn't include breakfast, but breakfast at the restaurant was excellent, if a bit expensive.

There aren't many choices here, but this is a perfectly acceptable option, especially if you are visiting someone at Wesleyan University. (There is a discount for Wesleyan parents.) The hotel is right on Main Street and about ten minutes walk from campus. You can get a relatively spacious suite with a fold-out couch. There is a pool and exercise room. The overall quality is similar to a chain hotel; there's little distinctive about it. But there is little wrong about it, either. Tip: the hotel o... Read more

I have stayed here on many occasions. I love taking advantage of the pool and gym. I have always found the service, rooms and comfort to be wonderful! It is very convenient to all of the town's activity, shopping and eateries.

We stayed there to attend a wedding at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills. The location was convenient to many stores, shops and restaurants as well as the wedding venue. Our room was clean and comfortable. AC was a bit loud and had to turn off to get to sleep then woke up too hot.

I stayed here for three weeks. The members of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are pleasant. The location offers proximity to plenty of restaurants. There's nothing awesome about the place, but I have no complaints.

Very convenient downtown location. Elegant lobby and fine service. The room is a hotel room - nothing super big or splendid. The decor is tasteful and well cared for. You'll enjoy the shower. The wifi in my room 524 was spotty, unreliable, up and down. Solution, use your ipad in the lobby. The exercise room was about the best I have been in - really nice. There is free parking but it is tight.

We used the inn for our end of August wedding guests. We had stayed at the inn for a prior family wedding and new it was a beautiful location to our Middletown ceremony and Riverhouse reception and convenient for our guests location wise. We were initially concerned by the small size as we had a large wedding mostly out of town but as long as you encourage your guests to book ASAP there were only a few who had to look elsewhere. They also Recommended using First Student school buses out of Chest... Read more
