Being greeted every time you walk by to leave or return no matter who was behind the front desk was a wonderful feeling. We felt important and welcomed. We loved the room and it was a great size. The bed was SOOO comfortable. We slept an average of 9hrs sometimes 11! We normally get 6hrs at home so it was a wonderful relaxing time. We enjoyed the stay.

Although everyone was very accommodating I feel that as a silver hilton honors I shouldn't have been on the ground floor as all other stays has been a designated floor,.It needs a little up do .This hotel is in a very good location. The desk check in was very efficient and friendly.

It was a pleasant stay. The hotel is strategically located. Just a short drive to the Coast Guard Academy. Good restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very welcoming. We love that there were variations in the breakfast that was served. Clean rooms and without the odor of cleaning chemicals and yet we felt and saw cleanliness all around the hotel.

The staff was courteous and helpful from the minute we checked in to this hotel. The front desk provided Hilton Honors rewards to us (bottled beverage and snack) upon check-in, gave us advice on local eateries, and they even had a managers reception with homemade food!!! This is an exceptional Hampton Inn located close to everything. Wish I could have stayed a few more nights. I also was very pleased that they had a few smoking rooms as I am a smoker and after a long day of work and travel, ... Read more

Great place that takes care of there guests. Over the Top!!!!!

Nice relaxing stay. Hotel is conveniently located off of 95 and close to Mystic. The hotel was quiet and we had the place including the pool to ourselves Friday night. When we came back Saturday after being out all day, we met a bunch of Baseball players checking in for the night. We got nervous they were going to be rowdy but we did not hear a peep at all. I only wish the kids had not worn their cleats through the lobby, especially at breakfast but that was not the hotels fault. Everyone... Read more

The room was quickly and efficently made up on our overnight arriving back at 3 PM to find your beds not made. The frount desk staff was very helpful in suggesting sites to visit and resturants. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The only down side was that the pool water was not warm enough. The pool area was very warm, but the water was cool. We are alrea... Read more

Left for Women's basketball game at Mohegan sun at 12:30 to find 2 trucks with trailers occupying about 8 parking spaces. Only 2 other available places thank goodness. The rooms are clean, the staff professional and the breakfast just like home. We sat and chatted over coffee without being rushed. Lovely all the way around. Will definitely be back again!.

Room wasn't clean, had a musty odor, and was too expensive. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious with plenty of room for the 4 of us. There was a refrigerator which we found useful during the stay. The issue for us is that the room had a strong musty odor when you entered the room. Also, the carpet felt sticky which made the room feel as though it wasn't clean. All of the for a 2 night minimum at $180/night. Too much $$ for what we got.

We reserved a room for this hotel several days before our arrival. The day before our arrival we chose our room using the hotel app. The problem with the app is that it does not tell you whether the room is a smoking or non-smoking room. Our room was nothing special. It was mostly clean although there were some long dark hairs on the toilet seat lid when I put it down. I thought I smelled something a bit off near the bed but could not pin it down and later did not smell it. The breakfast was a disappointment. The melon fruit was good but everything was pre-packaged. The sausages seemed to be heat and serve type. We checked in for one night at this property and I'll be honest I was very underwhelmed. The place is in serious need of an upgrade. The bed had little support so if you turn over everyone feels it. The couch was something out of the early 90s with no support. The carpet is stained and the furniture worn. The breakfast buffet was standard fare and tasty. They also offered an evening meal of lasagna and cookies but we went elsewhere. Overall it was okay but wouldn't stay here again.

The suites at the Hampton Inn were huge and great for our family of five. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was as expected of Hampton Inn. My only tip is to stay off of the 4th floor if possible. While our room was non-smoking and was fine, apparently the 4th floor has some smoking rooms which made the hallway smell terribly like old cigarettes.

This place is clean and everything you expect from a Hampton but I swear the rooms are totally sound proof. As I walked down the hall I could hear the tv in the room next to mine and it was LOUD,but as soon as I walked in the room it was totally silent. I slept like a baby and never heard a sound. All the staff was really nice but the cleaning staff really was super awesome to talk to and very helpful. Easy highway access and close restaurants to this location.
