We stay at the Farmington Hampton Inn whenever we are in CT and will continue to do so. It is a beautiful facility in a lovely, quiet location. The staff are professional and really superb. We appreciate having a wonderful continental breakfast when we start our day, coffee and tea always available and the extra touch of freshly baked cookies later in the day. This is a wonderful hotel.

The hotel is very nice, but it is in a not so great location when it comes to eating out, & because there are no refridgerators in the rooms. You can ask for one that you may, or may not get one because the hotel apparently only has a few on site. They do offer a very nice breakfast meal, and access to a mircowave 24/7, & they also offer a sheet with the listings of a number of 'select' eating establishments in the area.

The hotel had numerous amenities that on my next stay I hope to take advantage of their use. This include a pool with hot tub and gym. The available options at breakfast were amazing. It ranged from hot prepared foods to a bowl of cereal. Whatever you were in the mood for it was probably available. The beds were quite comfortable. I have a bad back and awoke with no pain. The pillows were like sleeping on air.

My boyfriend and I extended our stay here from 2 nights to 3 as soon as we had settled into our room. Neither of us had stayed at a Hampton Inn before and we weren't sure what to expect. The first floor lobby/lounge is beautiful and clean and the perfect spot for working or relaxing. Our room, a king suite, is the perfect size for a longer stay and the bed is basically everything you dream of in a hotel. Everything. The best parts of the stay are the waffles, though. I can't lie. My son and I attended a showcase at Wesleyan University about 20 minutes away and stayed here because it was close to friends we were visiting. The hotel is immaculate, the staff very helpful, breakfast was great, the bed was super comfortable and rooms were large and clean. One of the best Hampton Inn's I've stayed in. Wish we were there longer.

I often stay here when visiting my family in the region. It's always clean, always easy and this one has a very beautiful lobby. The weekend complimentary breakfast is ample. It's in a great location, near center of Farmington and close to West Hartford and Avon which have great shopping and restaurants. I's a great value for the price.

Management has to accept the remoteness of this location and address this. A stay at this hotel would be a problem for someone without transportation. Microwaves are not in most rooms so having food delivered would most certainly have a need to be heated. The facility itself is well maintained but due to the lack of restaurants and transportation it would not be a place to stay unless you are planning on staying in the room. Finally their suites are rooms with couches and not true suites.

Oh, to be able to open a window! When the A/C was on (most of the time), the cold air blew right on the bed as the A/C louvres were not adjustable so had to move a chair and ottoman up to the sealed window to redirect the air flow! Spencer is extremely helpful and willing to assist with any request, if possible. Hotel is clean and convenient to many highways and restaurants. My hope is that they keep rates competative like they did this time so that we can stay again. Normally HI is just too high to justify the cost considering the Extended stay down the street that is also great and provides dishes and stove. Prefer the HI with the pool though.

The hair dryer didn't work and one of the treadmills didn't work. Otherwise, the workout room was very good. The rooms are lovely and clean and the pool great for kids (nice and shallow).
